This dress was extremely comfortable, and the size 2 fit like a glove! It does run big so I would recommended getting a size smaller from what you usually wear. I rented a 2 and 4, although I wish I went with the 0 and 2. It was a great dress for the formal holiday party I attended!

I loved this dress! the dresses I ordered did not fit so I contacted Customer Service and quickly went through to see what dresses were available- I found this one and didn't give it much thought- gave it a shot. Well, it arrived and now its one of my favorite dresses from RTR and I will definitely be ordering it a 2nd time. The fabric is thick and good quality- its very flattering, kinda short for me (i'm 5'6) but nothing inappropriate. Reviews said it ran big so I got a 4 and a 6 (usually get a 6 and a 8). The 4 was SNUG and I wore the 6. I'm wondering if I could have even gotten a 8 but that might have been too big. I highly recommend this dress! Adding it to my favorites!

This dress runs a little large, as I haven't worn a size 0 in several years, but I also tried on the size 2, and it was all-around too big. The quality of the fabric is excellent, and it flatters multiple body types. If you know you're going to be dancing all night, be aware that this dress is pretty short. I wore it to a Christmas party, and it was perfect. Overall, I loved wearing it and had another great experience with RTR!

This has been my favorite dress I've rented through Rent the Runway so far. I thought it looked even better in person than on the website. It fit perfectly- not too tight- and the neckline is flattering on everyone. I recommend this for anyone who needs a dress for a formal event.

This dress ran just a tad big but very comfortable. I ordered a 4 and a 6 and choose the 4. I probably could have used a 2 but would of been a little snug. A strapless bra is a must with this dress. I would recommend this dress for a full night of dancing. I danced all night in comfort. Thank you RTR. I will see you in two weeks for my birthday celebration!

The dress weas so pretty and flattering. It was very stretchy which made it very forgiving. In fitted dresses I usually wear a 14 and a 12 in the stretchy dresses. I could have worn a 10 in this dress (not ordered) because it was loose in places. I have a large bust so I am thankful that I didn't run into any issues with fitting the bust. I loved the neckline (strapless bra needed). I would rent this dress again for sure.

This dress is hot. I am not as hot on the regular as I was in this dress, haha! Runs true to size. I wear a 32F bra and the little bit of stretch in it was perfect for a large chest.

She loved it and she looked amazing in it! She normally wears a size 14 and she could fit the 12 or 14, but felt more comfortable in the 14, so if you're looking for a second size i'd say size down. She is 5'7 and the length was perfect on her.

I wore this for a Rent the Runway event I was hosting and I was surprised when I tried this on that it fit! It was gorgeous and I got a lot of compliments, I am even renting it again for my sorority event!

I usually wear a 4 on RTR dresses, but thankfully I ordered a 2 in this dress as well. The 4 was hugeeee on me but the 2 fit perfectly. The dress is a comfortable stretchy material and I felt great in it all night. I wanted a LBD with a twist, and this dress was definitely it! Absolutely loved it.

I actually didn't end up wearing this dress I rented it for New Years but ended up wearing a sparkly one instead. The fit is great tho and it's very comfortable! I would definitely rent it for another occasion.

Based on other peoples reviews I ordered the 4 and 2 even though my normal size is a 6. The two fit well throughout the body but the top/arms were too tight so I went with the 4. Very comfortable dress. Wore with tights although it was just borderline being slightly too short for a work Christmas party. Would rent again.

I really loved this dress and received many compliments! I wore it to a fall wedding. I am 5'1 and typically wear a 0 or a 2. I wore a 0 in this dress and it did run a tad bit big but I was so happy the length was great! Not too long which happens often being short!

Okay so the dress itself really deserves 5 stars. Great material and it's flattering. You can tell it's expensive. It runs SO large. It was big on me but it was my own fault cause I didn't listen to the reviews and size down. My true size is a 6 but honestly I probably should have worn a 2. The dress was not fitted at all but I just made it work. With that said I'm not sure if the dress is oddly shaped and if you have no hips then it will never look right, or if the dress itself just runs large, or if people before me stretched it out. Either way it ended up being kind of a flowy dress on me but it still worked.

It's a short dress but overall I received many compliments. The material is nice and light so it was great for dancing and not sweating ;-)

The dress is really comfortable and runs a little big. That said, it is short!! I'm 5-11 and was concerned about the length but everyone said it looked great. The lace panel in the front seemed a little shorter or less stretched out than the rest of the dress but that is nitpicking. It was a fun dress to wear.

This dress is great! The material is thick so it doesn't show all the flaws. It was a little baggy around my back, above my back (but I do have a booty and dresses sometimes gap there). I wish I had also ordered the 12 just to see how it fit (might have been too short or tight in other places). The dress is stretching and super comfortable. I had to wear a strapless bra with it. Also, I wore silver accessories (no necklace - just bangles and earrings). I'm going to say this again, it was soooo comfortable! I would rent again and get the 12 as a backup size just to see how it fits!

You will probably have to size down more than you would expect. I'm typically a 4 so I ordered my normal size and a 2. My order arrived Thursday with my event being Saturday. The 2 was huge on me! In the mirror picture you can kind of see the bunching in the back, not a flattering fit at all. Contacted RTR but it was already after hours because I'm in Phoenix. Within 30 min of emailing customer service I received a response from Natalie, one of the stylists, that she had me set up with a 0 arriving Saturday. Very impressed with the responsiveness! The other 2 pics are the zero. It did ride up a bit when I walked and still didn't fit me perfectly but once I had the right size the dress was cute on. The neck was a bit tight, but not uncomfortable. I loved the racerback style and wore my hair up most of the night so you could see it better too. Fabric is pretty warm too, if this had been an outdoor event in July in AZ, I would've been uncomfortable. I probably wouldn't rent this one again but it definitely worked out for my event.

The material and style of the dress is very pretty and elegant. It is hard to tell in the picture, but I'm wearing a boot for a broken ankle (not pictured: crutches). This dress was very comfy to wear, even in my wounded state. In terms of fit, I'm typically a 2 or a 4 in most dresses. I wear a 0 every so often, and this was one of those cases. The 2 fit just fine, but it was a little loose. Because of the shape of the dress this "loose-ness" was not flattering. I recommend sizing down.

I rented this dress for a bat mitzvah party. I initially ordered an 8 and a 10 because even though I'm petite, I usually have to wear larger sizes because of my boobs. They thankfully arrived early, but the 8 was so big that I didn't even try the 10. RTR's customer service, however, was terrific when I emailed and asked for 6 -- I recieved a quick response, and the 6 the next day. The 6 was still a little loose -- I probably could have even worn a 4 -- but it was kind of clingy, and I have a bit of a stomach, so I still wore spanx. I also had to wear a strapless bra, but the dress fit my chest pretty well. It was surprisingly flattering, and I think the reason I didn't love it was just that it was out of my comfort zone.

Dress looked great and was perfect for an evening wedding. I thought I might be able to wear it with a racerback bra, but you definitely have to go strapless. It looks even better without the black cardigan, but I don't have any photos unfortunately. I paired it with nude heels, an opal bib necklace, and the Kate Spade Age of Innocence clutch (because I love it so much).

I only got a size 8 in this dress (it was my second dress or $25), and I think it would have been more flattering in a 6. I was happy and comfortable with it, but think a 6 would have fit my body a bit better. Loved the high neck for a wedding - conservative but still fun and fashionable!

I rented this dress for New Years Eve. It ran very large, and I didn't exactly love the material. I felt that the dress was fitted in the hips and baggy in the waist, and wasn't quite as flattering as I would have liked. I felt a little uncomfortable with the "armpit fat" that seemed to look worse than usual in this dress. I think if I had gotten this dress one size smaller I would have been more happy with the way it looked. Length was great, I still got a lot if compliments on this dress even though I wasn't completely comfortable in it.

I don't think I would rent this dress again.. Maybe if I was taller it would have worked out better.

Had the 6 and 8 which pretty much fit the same so its a matter of "snug" preference. Not a fan of Spanx so wore the 8. Material was stretchy but not loose. Hugged body. Wore a strapless bra. I felt pretty and sexy in it. Very comfortable. Would rent again.

I wore this dress for a bachelorette party and it was perfect! Definitely get a size smaller than what you normally wear because it truly down run large. The length was perfect and I even wore heels with it. This is a fun dress that won't disappoint when you're sick and tired of your old wardrobe!

…Ordered a back up size down (based on other reviews) and ended up going with that, so I'd recommend getting your back up a size down as well. I wear a 34D or DD and the size 4 fit well up top without being too loose everywhere else (which is usually my problem). I'd definitely recommend it as a classy but still sexy dress that works for busty girls.

This dress was gorgeous. The fit was great, I loved the lace, and the neckline detail was super. However, after trying on, I felt that it was a bit more formal than my event intended, so I ended up not wearing it. That said, I would absolutely rent this dress again for a different event. It was gorgeous.

Although it is rather short and shows some side breast, the dress is very comfortable and the fabric feels great. Listening to the reviews and sizing down was a good idea.

ended up ordering it as a back-up dress and didn't end up wearing it. but i did try it on and will totally rent it in the future!
