This dress is gorgeous, comfortable, and flattering. The shoulders and neckline make it so much more than a basic black dress. Didn't want to send this one back!

It was so comfortable, it almost felt like thick tshirt material. Our ball was in an open air hanger in November, so it was a little chilly, but I was never overly cold in this dress. One of my favs.

I'm 4'11'' And was really nervous about renting a long dress for a black tie wedding I was attending. This dress fit perfectly on me! With 3.5 inch heels the length was great and did not drag on the floor. The neck is very revealing so I used fashion tape to hold everything in place. Fabric is thick enough to not feel self conscious. At 118 lbs the petite small was the perfect size!!

Loved the fit, flattering with fitted bodice and delicate drop sleeves.

I originally wanted the S. thank goodness it wasn't available bc it would have fit loosely. The XS hugged my body perfectly. I was so happy w the fit. I would recommend making sure you have the appropriate bra (one used for deep plunged necklines). I felt a million bucks! The dress definitely gives a sophisticated-sexy look. Absolutely loved it and received many compliments.

Originally I was so disappointed when I received an email from Rent The Runway saying that the previous renter did not return the size small dress I had originally ordered in good condition and they were unable to send it. This was a shocker to me and it caused panic seeing as how I was using it as my bridesmaid dress for my best friends wedding! Fortunately, they were able to still send the original dress I wanted in a size Medium and they also had provided a list of dresses to choose from that were similar to the original dress I chose. Luckily for RTR I did not need a size small because I was almost 5 months pregnant at the time. The dress fit wonderfully and I got many compliments on it. Although I had been disappointed from the news, RTR had a backup plan for me which I greatly appreciate. It's not their fault if previous renters don't return their dresses appropriately. I was pleased and would still rent in the future. Thank you, RTR AND STAFF!

Fit perfectly

I felt great in this dress. Since I have a small chest I just wore little sticky cups and it works perfectly. I also had a dark green pretty dress shawl that I wore to the ceremony to cover up my shoulders. I loved the sleeves on this dress. This was a black tie wedding and my husband was a groomsmen. I didn't want to stand out but I wanted to look glamorous because it was in a fancy place! This dress did the trick. I also comfortably danced the night away.

Loved it! Wore a medium and I'm 5"4 with a full C cup. I could wear a regular bra and no spanks! Wore a smaller heel and the length was perfect. If you have tall heels in mind you will need a "long"

Rented this dress for a black-tie event and even though I didn't end up wearing it, the dress is gorgeous! I would note that although I would still say it "fits true to size" it is slightly on the snug side of this. Luckily the material is surprisingly stretchy so the dress was still very comfortable to move around in. Being 5'3" I always worry about the length of dresses and this one was perfect with 3" heels and I could have gotten away with wearing slightly shorter or even taller ones. You can definitely wear a strapless bra with this dress as well, which is always a major plus in my book. The only reason I did not end up wearing it for the black tie event was because I thought it was a little bit too low-cut/revealing/boobylicious haha. Overall a great dress though and I would wear it for another occasion.

The dress is comfortable and lightweight... perfect for dancing and hugs your curves in all the right places. I wore it with spanx ( to minimize the fluffy belly) and it fix perfectly. The high v back covered my bra and spanx straps. The v front was also very functional for us busty ladies!!! Definitely a good rental...

This dress was perfect for a black tie wedding! The length was great with the heels and I was comfortable all night. I was able to wear a normal bra...and definitely needed to in order to fill the bust out. While I usually prefer to go bra-less, it was nice that a normal bra worked with the dress. Overall, I'm so happy with this rental!

Runs true to size. Kind of tight, but also stretches so you can move/dance. It's really comfortable too.

This dress is absolutely beautiful. I received tons of compliments all night. I am 5'7- 5'8 and generally wear and 8 or 10 in formal dresses. The MR ended up fitting well in general, but was definitely a bit ahort. Had the long been available, that would have been much better. The LR that i got as a backup was not really any longer and was definitely too big. Overall, I was very happy with the dress.

Extremely comfortable. Could wear usual bra with a slimming one piece ribs to thighs spanx. So flattering to my figure.

I wore this elegant timeless dress for a recent fundraiser Gala. I was comfortable and loved the look. The sleeves were a little larger so I would recommend fashion tape to keep it up.

When I first got the dress, I was worried it was too tight.. once I put the proper undergarments on, it fit like a glove! So many compliments all night. Simple, classy, and made me proud of my feminine curves. The stretchy material was great for dancing too and could wear abnormal bra.

Fit true to size, it's very busty. I did wear sticky boobs but may not have had to. I am 5"4 and with 3 inch heels dress was a rad too short. Great fit and material was stretchy but comfortable. Would rent again! Wore to military ball and black was very elegant.

I wore this to the fancy dinner night on a cruise to Mexico with my family. I received tons of compliments all night. It was so comfortable and I felt great in it all night. Very true to size, I wore it with spanx just to smooth out the unflattering parts under the jersey like material of the dress. I also rented the clutch which I absolutely loved as well! Loved the flat envelope style of the clutch, fit so much but was super lightweight.

This was not my original choice but rtr sent it to me when mine was not available. I was pleasantly surprised. It fit really well, the arm folds hit in a spot that made me not self-conscious about my arms and it was really easy to move and dance in.

Wore this to a charity gala and it was right on point. The fit is great, though maybe a bit small in the bust - I am a 0/2 and the XS fit me perfectly in the body, but was a little tight in the bust. I have a C cup and felt like I was popping out a bit! If you are an A or B, you should be fine. The dress is so chic in person - very elegant and also a bit sexy; the photos don't do it justice. The material is very light and stretchy so you don't feel confined at all! I highly recommend.

I loved the way this dress made me feel and a huge bonus that my husband wouldn't stop complimenting me. It fit very true to size and hugs all of the right curves. The only issue is the band under the chest on the XS is a little high, so I had to pull he girls up so they didn't get smashed. Might give them extra attention if you're busty! Also, it is VERY long. I'm 5'1 and walk like Bambi in heels, so mine were only about 2 inches high - I had to carry the dress all night, but wasn't a huge deal.

This was my 8th back up dress. My original order was not available two days before delivery date. All the other dresses I chose also were not available. When my order arrived the first dress by laundry was too large. I tried this one on and it fit perfectly! I'm not crazy about the sleeves but I still looked fabulous. I received many compliments and dancing was easy with the fabric of the dress. Highly recommend it! I wore 5 inch heels so it didn't touch the floor.

The medium fit me well I'm 5'4" and 145 lbs. I wore a black push up bra and my mom safety pinned it so that the straps would stay hidden, and it was really comfortable that way.

This dress fit like a glove! I got so many compliments all night. I wore this for a black tie wedding it fit pretty true to size although I wish I would've gotten an XS as a backup size instead of a M. Wore this dress to a black tie wedding and it was the perfect mix of classy and super sexy. I am a 10-12 and I ended up wearing the LR but the MR also fit. Just thought the LR was a little more comfortable. I am 5'5'' - 5'6'' and I actually wished I had rented the Long length. The regular was fine when I changed into my flats for the after party but with my high heels I thought it was a little short. The front is a very deep V so I highly recommend double sided take on the chest and the shoulder straps. I did this and everything was firmly in place all night! This is a great dress if you are a woman that loves your curves like me... Particularly flattering to your ::ahem::: rear assets :)

The fit was perfect! It runs very true to size. I wore the MR and it fit great! It is like jersey material so it has a little stretch but not much. It's fully lined so that's nice too. I wore it to a black tie wedding and got many compliments on it! I loved this dress!

Loved this dress! Wore it to a college friends formal wedding and got so many compliments! It was also super comfortable, had no problem dancing around in it and the black held any signs of sweating given the hot weather. I was a little worried about the length (I'm 5'2) and the ability of the off the shoulder to stay put all night, but it was perfect in length and the straps didn't move. Best part was you can wear a normal bra with it! Would absolutely rent this again for a formal affair.

I needed the long in this dress but it was sold out, the 6R fit great otherwise! The material is somewhat stretchy so you can get a way with a smaller size. It is flexible too so very easy to move in it. I loved this dress and had a great night at the black tie wedding.

I wore this to my friends prom and thought the dress was super comfy and pretty true to size! I'm around 5'7 and wore 3 inch heels and the length was just right with the long. It is a little low cut however and the top part really isn't suited for girls with larger breasts. But overall I was really happy with the dress!

The fit is true to size but with some room to stretch. I got a lot of compliments on the dress. I loved it and I felt so comfortable and gorgeous at the same time!!

Body hugging in all the right ways, very figure flattering. The pictures on the site don't do this dress justice. I went with the long and was able to wear 3" heels. If you have a fuller chest just be aware as it is low cut. The only down side for me was the straps kept falling while dancing. But that is likely because I have a very short torso. I would certainly rent this again!
