Great dress and amazing color. The sleeves were slightly annoying and felt like I had to pull the dress back down down. Overall though great dress and would rent again

I rented this dress and rented the Medium long and the large regular to be safe. I'm 5'4" about 160lbs. I typically wear a 10/12. The medium fit fine but was just a little tighter than I wanted in the midsection. The length however of the medium long was perfect. The regular medium would've been too short! I was nervous about the large regular being too short but the length was perfect for my 4 inch heels! It fit much more comfortably than the medium. I got compliments from this look all night long! I felt and looked amazing!

Loved the cut and material! The length was good for me, but the color is more blue than purple!

Loved that I could wear this floor length gown with 2.5 inch heels and not trip all over the dress. Being 5'1 narrows the dress selection a lot. Also loved the fit and the vibrant color

This dress is really pretty in person (more of a royal blue) and is actually pretty comfortable. I usually wear a 0 or 2 and am 5"6. I ordered a Small Long and it fit like a glove with enough length to wear 3 inch heels. Only cons are the slit came up a little higher than I expected and the tummy/love handle area was not very forgiving, but wearing spanx fixed that part. Overall, I felt great in this dress and would definitely recommend it!

Pros: Vibrant color, sexy slit, comfortable, stretchy fabric, you can wear a racer back bra Cons: Depending on height, be mindful that you may need a Long because the Regular lengths are quite short, the stretchy fabric will hug all your curves, even the after dinner pooch.

I had read some other reviews that said they wore a racer-back bra with this dress, but that didn't work out for me. The straps of all of my bras showed even with a racer back or crisscrossed straps. Also, as many other reviewers mentioned, it does run a little short. I am 5'6" and wore the dress with 3.5 inch heels, and it felt a bit too short. However, I received many compliments on the dress and I don't think anyone else noticed the length was off by an inch or two.

I ordered a medium and a large as my backup size, but ended up wearing the medium. This dress was my favorite Rent the Runway dress yet! It fit beautiful, the color is perfect, and I got compliments all night. Regular bra doesn't work for this dress (I'm a 34 F) so I'd suggest going strapless. I saw other reviews talking about the length of the dress and I would definitely agree. It's slightly on the short side (I'm only 5'4 though and wore 2 inch heels so it was fine for me). Definitely a winner!

I loved the dress. the only issue I had with it was that it shows everything, so make sure you wear those spanx underneath ladies!

This dress fit around my 6 month bump and was so comfortable. Material is really stretchy and I wore a full strapless bra. The slit came up a little high but was fine. I'm 5'3 and 135 pregnant and the bottom of the dress just barely reached the floor.

This dress was so fun to wear! I needed a long dress for a black tie wedding in July and this was perfect for the event. The fabric is more of a royal blue color and is textured. It was breathable and I felt cool and comfortable all night. The slit is a little higher than expected, but didn't show too much skin. I highly recommend getting a long length if you want to wear heels. I'm 5'5 and the long was perfect with heels. The regular length was too short and didn't even hit the floor on me. This a great dress for any body type. I'm curvy, 135 pounds, size 6/8, 34C, and the medium fit like a glove! I felt pretty and comfortable in this dress. Best part is you can wear a regular bra!

I needed the dress to be longer for my heels, so I went with the small. The dress was sooo comfortable to wear, loved the color and style! I would 100% recommend for a wedding!

This dress was a last minute backup sent to me because my original dress didn't fit. The stylist was so helpful in assisting me as I was starting to panic. I loved this dress so much I'm considering renting it for another wedding. I decided to belt the dress to add more definition to my midsection. I was able to wear a regular bra and Spanx (necessary). I'm 5'3 and wore 4" heels and the length was perfect! As others have stated, the color is more blue than purple.

The dress was everything I hoped it would be. True to size and the way it sits over your shoulders looks so classy, the color of the dress brought out the blue color of my eyes. I highly recommend this dress.

Fit well true to size, would rent again. Can wear razor back bra. Since I'm only 5 feet I wish they had a petite size because it was still pretty long with my 5 inch heals. It was comfortable and thicker fabric was great for winter. The picture online made it look more purple but it was actual a pretty royal blue, which I liked better anyway.

This dress was great for any formal event. Definitely would've loved this around prom season. It was sucha bold color I received so many compliments. Could be worn with a standard bra. Would recommend a necklace to liven it up a bit.

Very classy, eye-catching color, the slit is to die for. I wish it was a bit more fitted for my petite frame but not too bad. I was able to make it work. Also, be careful with the awkward length. It's not exactly floor length and it's is cut to flare out awkwardly at the bottom. Otherwise pretty nice gown!

This was an axing dress that I wore for a grad school reunion gala... it worked hit the event and was so comfortable! I got so many compliments!

I was unsure about this dress once received. Since the sizing is only S/M or M/L it was difficult to choose between the two since I'm normally medium. I ended up getting the M/L which was slightly too large but worked. What bothered me about the dress was the bust area which due to the stitching gave a slightly pointy/structured effect which I wasn't expecting. Also, there is a short liner that come to just above the slit but it was riding up constantly. Also there is no hook and eye on the dress and the zipper would not stay up so I had to safety pin it. I would give this dress 3 stars but everyone complimented me on it so bumped up to 4.

This was the replacement dress that was sent when my original was not here on time. It was very easy to wear and comfortable. I noticed there is a slight sparkle to the fabric. You have to pay attention when sitting because of the high slit. Not a real thick fabric but not too thin, a little stretchy. Hard to extend arms because of the arm bands. I wore gold jewelry because of the gold zipper in the back. Overall, I was impressed with the dress and customer service.

The only thing that I didn't like about the dress was the length. I'm 5'5" and wore small heels and the dress was still too short. So order a long no matter what! Otherwise the fit was perfect and the material wasn't too stiff.

Size was perfect, but Reg length was short. I am 5'5 and had 4in heels to go with this. Long in the same size was perfect.

The dress was comfortable and easy to dance in. The slit is a comes up littttttle high *(this was a Catholic wedding and I was a little uncomfortable in Chuch) and the hem was a little to "short" for me. I should have ordered the Long instead of Regular but was out of time.

This is a great dress but is way too short. I am 5'7 and rented the long versions and it was way too short. I would have had to wear a flat and with this type of dress, that wasn't happening. The fabric is also much thinner than I was expecting. Spanx are your friend with this dress ;). Loved the details but I would not rent again.

I loved the color, very flattering. The fabric was so comfortable and had a little bit of stretch to hug curves. The zipper wouldn't stay up, and it wasn't very long. But Overall I'm very happy with my first RTR experience!

I have a petite torso, and the shoulder sleeves we're a little too wide, but not by much, and I think the dress would look better on someone with a larger bust. I was also surprised by how short the regular dress was. Usually I have to hem long dresses, but this one didn't even touch the floor. Spanx are a must with this dress and it shows your full figure.

I wore this dress to a friends wedding and didn't want to take it off. The color is beautiful and the shape and slit are super flattering and sexy without being inappropriate. Would definitely wear again.

I'm 5'2 curvy petite (32B on top but M size 4-6 pant size) and this fit beautifully. Gorgeous blue color! I wore it to the ballet and got tons of compliments. Regular was a little long but with 2.5 inch heels it was fine.

may want to wear thongs. Also spanks if you feel larger in midsection- not very thick material in that area and shows lines.

This dress was perfect. It fit my body perfectly and the the slit was just right. Sometimes I find them to be too much on my short figure, however this really extenuated everything perfectly. The off the shoulder look was very flattering and the dress was very slimming.

The photo of this dress doesn't do it justice. It's a gorgeous blue/purple and would look great on any skin tone. The shoulder pieces aren't restricting and you can easily wear a regular bra with it. The material is forgiving and stretchy, making it super comfy. And the length is fine with a moderate height heel.
