I really liked this dress! It is a little tight around the armpits so I went with the bigger size but overall I really liked it. The color was really nice and always like the high low hem for us shorter girls! Def recommend!

This dress was perfect for a wedding in a rainforest in Washington, or anywhere really! The fit was true to size, however I recommend going a size up if you are unsure. The material was sturdy but not too thick, and the back had some stretch, making it more comfortable to wear. I didn't need a bra with it, as the structure of the dress was enough. There are pockets! My phone on one side and my lip liner/gloss on the other. Just the right swing/flare when you dance, too! I received tons of compliments from people I knew and didn't know. I cannot recommend this dress more!

I ordered a size 2 and 4, I wore the size 2. I said it fits true to size but feel like it is somewhere between that and runs small. I wear a size 2 dress normally but with this I was not able to wear a bra, which was fine. I received so many compliments and several stares (not sure if that is good or bad). The pockets were why I chose this dress but the gold mixed in with the green and black was beautiful! I recommend this dress, just be prepared to skip the bra and have eyes on you! Also, I am 5'5'', about 130lbs.

This was the cutest, most flattering dress. I would have loved to keep it. The black back panel and waistband color blocking are super flattering and the fabric is beautiful in person. LOVED this dress.

This was my first time renting from RTR and I really loved it! I am 5'7 and about 150 lbs. I ordered a size 6 and 8... I ended up wearing the 8. I am a true B cup and this dress fit great up top. If you are bustier I would maybe suggest sizing up so it's not too tight on you, since I'm only a B cup and it fit just right. I wore this to a Gala and felt amazing! It was exactly what I wanted. I ordered on a Sunday, the dress came on Wednesday (even though I ordered it for Thursday) I wore it to the Gala Friday night and returned it Saturday afternoon to a UPS near me. It was so simple! I can't wait to rent again!

The dress was amazing. Im nomally a soze 8-10. This dress was a size 12, to fit my borad shoulders, 10 didnt fit. I loved the dress. It was a lovely dress. I got so many compliments. I really enjoyed the experience.

Pros: It is a gorgeous dress, with POCKETS, and actually very comfortable. It is beautiful in person, the pictures just don't do it justice. Cons: I am very pear-shaped, small on top and wider at the hips, and this dress has very little give on top. It also has oddly shaped arm-holes that cut inward, accentuating that weird armpit fat :(

I wanted to love this dress. I rented it for a masquerade themed work banquet. I thought it would work so well and fit the theme. But, it was a let down. While the dress is beautiful and I loved the colors, it is a strange/ill fitting dress. I sized up as other reviews recommended but the 10 was still tight at the black waist band. It was too tight to comfortably sit (or really even stand). I called customer service and they overnighted me a 12. Again, snug. Wearable but snug. My torso also isn't long enough for this dress. The black band makes the dress unable to go past your hips and without a long torso it created some bunching. Also, as many reviews stated, the bust is very tight and will flatten you out which didn't bother me as much as the bunching. Unfortunately one of my least favorite rentals

This dress was so comfortable to wear. The fabric was heavyweight but not so heavy that you’d overheat. It was a beautiful dark teal and black with a nice shimmer of gold. The back had a nice bit of stretch in it so it was easy to move in. I loved the pockets and the high/low design of the dress. I’m 5’1” and it was a great length, the front hitting at slightly above the knee and the back coming to just below tea length for me. I wore 3 inch heels and it was perfect. I received so many compliments! This was actually a back up dress I had to order since my first choice didn’t flatter my body size/shape.

This dress is great and was super comfortable. I ended up not wearing though as it felt a little too wintery for a late spring wedding.

I had rented a Slate & Willow dress in the past and normally wear a size 6 or 8, but I ordered a size 8 and 10 this time because the 6 was not available. And that ended up being a good thing because this dress did not give a lot of room in the chest. I tried on the size 8 and it was comfortable everywhere except that it pulled across the front of the chest. So I tried on the 10 and it was better. Honestly, though, if I'd had access to a size 12 I would have tried it. The fitted waist and flared skirt make the dress flattering, even if you are wearing a larger size to accommodate your bust! The fabric is substantial, which is forgiving over lines or pudge. :) The v-neckline was not too low. The material felt festive and good for an autumn or holiday event. In a few photos I did feel like it looked like a camo pattern. But the metallic gold helps elevate it a little bit. I also noted that the arm holes extended forward substantially, so I couldn't wear a regular bra without it sticking out of the arm holes an inch or so. I wore a strapless bra and it worked fine, especially since the bodice of the dress was so snug that nothing could move around! :) I would definitely rent this again.

The fit was true to a size 6 (with a smaller chest). The pockets are always an added plus. The dress is cut as a high low, but this is not as easily noticeable when wearing it. It has the gorgeous gold underlay which I wish could be seen. I may actually rent this again for a New Year’s Eve affair it was so stunning, comfortable and perfect for the occasion.

Loved how this dress fit, would recommend for a formal cocktail party-type event!

This was a pretty dress with beautiful details and sparkle, great for a holiday party. I'm glad I followed reviews and got an 8. Even then it was tight enough through the chest that you get that unattractive armpit/boob fat sticking out if you don't keep it adjusted which is why it's only 4 stars.

This dress is great for cocktail attire. It fit me nice because I am pear shaped and it hid my hips. I am small chested and the top fit just right. It is also longer in the back which is a nice twist. Great think fabric.

Prior reviews are correct and this dress is very tight around the chest (especially if you're busty). I had to wear a size up. It also has a slightly weird gap by the armpits. However, it is a beautiful dress. Super high quality and the high low aspect is fantastic.

It fit small in the rib cage so I sized up to a 6 from a 4. The dress was easy to accessorize and comfortable on the dance floor. I'd love to rent this again for Christmas event. The green and gold colors would be perfect.

This was the perfect dress for an evening wedding reception. The high-low style was exactly what I was looking for since the wedding attire was black tie optional. The gold is shimmery, which was nice for the evening aspect of the wedding. Would definitely rent again!

I've worn this Gabi dress before in a different color to a wedding earlier this year. I love it! I always get tons of compliments and the fit is perfect. Hides the stomach and shows off my waist. I always order the 10 and 12 and wore the 10 ( last time I wore the 10 as well). Highly recommend!

I've had a hard time finding the right types of dresses since having a baby over a year. This dress was perfect, I felt secure, and the silhouette helped hide those parts that I'm not fully comfortable with. I did read all the reviews, found people my size and made sure I ordered what I would think was the right size. This dress definately runs small. I'm a solid 8 petite almost everywhere, and in this I wore my back up size 10, it fit, but it was still a little snug in the rib cage. I think if i had the 12 it would have fit better in the rib cage, but the sleeves and the torso would have been too long. As it was on me the torso was fine in the front, but a little too long in the back. Aside from the minor fit issue, i did receive lots of compliments on it.

I wore a bridesmaid dress with a similar cut and absolutely loved it so I knew I would like the cut/fit of the dress. As other reviews mentioned, it did run small so I'm glad I got a size up as my back up. I usually wear a 4 but wore a 6 in this and was very comfortable. As a new mom, I really liked the fuller skirt so as not so tight around the belly area. Loved the pockets, of course! This was my first Rent the Runway experience I will definitely be coming back! All three ladies in the picture used Rent the Runway for this wedding and we were getting compliments all night!

I wore this dress for my work Christmas party which was considered to be "semi-formal" attire. I highly recommend renting this dress and was complimented all night. It is a great high-low dress, and I loved the gold detail. I loved that since it was a high-low the gold that is inside the fabric is visible around your legs. I thought it looked great with my gold heels. As others recommended, you definitely need to size up. I am typically a size 2 or 4 and the 6 fit me perfectly.

Large chested girls go up a size for sure. You will not be disappointed in the fabric or the wow factor of this dress. I would buy it in an instant if I had more formal things to attend. Oh, and POCKETS!

This was my backup dress for our tenth anniversary party, but I liked it much better so wore it instead. The fabric was pretty and the gold accents made it look special. I liked that the cut was modest and had good motion when I walked or danced. I was worried that the hemline would be too short in the front but it was just right for me - I have longer legs and it still hit slightly above the knees. I was nine months postpartum when I wore it so still had some pregnancy belly going on, but this dress covered it well and looked quite flattering on me. If you happen to be breastfeeding, you will need to completely unzip to feed your child, which you will likely need someone else to help with as the zipper goes all the way up the back to the base of the neck. The only thing I didn't like was the black patch of fabric over the upper back, but it was mostly covered by my longer hair. Lastly, consider sizing up if you can!

Fit great and was very comfortable. I'm 5'5" and 138 pounds and the size 6 fit, but the size 8 was more comfortable to wear.
