I cannot recommend this dress enough. I took a gamble on renting this as a back up for a holiday cocktail party and boy did it pay off. This dress is so soft, so comfortable and most importantly, SOO flattering and elegant. I got endless compliments all night & felt like a million bucks. The material is stretchy but sucks you in, and the cut makes you feel sophisticated while the slit adds a bit of youth. The dress is floor length for someone who is 5'3" but I only wore a pair of 2 inch heels and found that that was plenty enough for the dress. 10/10 suchhh a good find

This dress is the definition of simple but makes a BIG impression. It’s that perfect little black dress that slims you without squeezing you, and somehow made my big boobs look… not big. 😂 Bless it. The fabric drapes in all the right places, ruching where you want it, smooth where you need it. I felt classy, comfortable, and honestly kind of snatched with zero effort. I added gold jewelry and a gold bag and it instantly looked expensive. Highly recommend. Just rent the dress.

I am pretty curvy and short but the XS worked well - tiny bit long but worked well with heels. simple but elegant

Just what I needed for an event in NYC when it was 50 degrees outside. Looked great, didn’t make me freeze. I wear an 8-10, ordered a M and L, and the M ended up fitting better. I got so many compliments!

Just a strangely simple dress to wear loosen all the right places to keep it classy tighten all the right places too be a stunner. This will need some light maintenance to get the wrinkles out like a wrinkle release spray or damp towel in the dryer. Might have have to buy in the future.

This dress was EVERYTHING! Loved the way it fit, the way it moved and the way it looked! Wore it to a formal wedding and my beau said “Wow! You look FANTASTIC!” The clutch was from RTR too!! Perfect dress! So glad I packed a steamer to get out those luggage wrinkles. But again LOVED!

At first I felt like Moira Rose, but I was definitely alone in that thought. It has just a tiny bit of shine, kind of like a leotard, but made into a great dress. A woman pulled over on the side of the road, and rolled her window down to tell me I looked great - that was a first. That’s what this dress does. I put a belt on because I felt like it made my tummy look smaller but that was only a matter of preference. Wore this for as a speaker at an event and rolled right into dinner. Definitely recommend with the right shape wear, if needed like I do.

There are some great details on this classic sheath dress - the light ruching around the hips is quite flattering and instead of drawing attention to bloating or food babies, the light ruching keeps the material from bunching or just hanging off lumps and bumps. I also loved the sleeves - they’re fuller without being too poofy or too long, instead they create a very flattering silhouette. The material is a smooth, nylon consistency that doesn’t bunch - it also doesn’t hide anything. The slit is mid-thigh on a short wearer and was office-appropriate. Fit it true to size and stretchy. I wore this to the office and then out for cocktails and dinner. Personally, I’d feel underdressed at a formal or black tie in this dress - but that’s a matter of personal taste.

Imho this is a formal dress, though I did wear with casual sandals, the length came off as formal. Wonderful fabric. Wore a nude Commando slip underneath for smoothness.

Perfect fit-wore to a formal wedding and was so comfy, classic and received lots of compliments. Didn't feel at all like I was wearing a formal but definitely looked dressy enough.

This dress feels effortless! It's lightweight and hits in all the right places. I wore a medium heel and the length was perfect. The dress was a size medium which did not feel snug but would show undergarment lines, so shape wear or a slip should be considered. The waist ruching is relaxed and helps add shape to the look. I considered buying it but have too many black dresses!

The fabric is very spandex-y, a bit like compression leggings, and it has a sheen to it. It was comfortable to wear because it moved with me, but it is also a clingy fabric. There is ruching along both sides from about the bra line to mid hips, making the midsection very forgiving and flattering.

I don't think I have ever felt so attractive in any other item of clothing that I've ever worn. This dress is hot. It hits all the curves you want. I'm not stuck thin and my body isn't perfect, but you'd never know it in this dress. For fear of never feeling this good in a dress again, I bought this and will cherish it.

Very plain, but also very easy to jazz up, I went with body jewelry chains but could have as easily gone with diamond, jewels, or long chains….easy to impress your own style on.

The fitting is spot on. This dress is so flattering and hugs you in just the right places! I have a larger chest and it really help minimize that but was still flattering and sleek. I’m so happy with this dress, I’d absolutely wear it again!

Fits like a glove - a few friends also tried on in different heights and sizes and was flattering on everyone. It does wrinkle easily but pretty versatile - dress up or down.

The material was silky and so wonderful feeling to wear. The ruching around the stomach area was very forgiving and this afford anywhere to wear their normal underwear. The cat was classy and modest and beautiful. I definitely recommend this for either a date night or even a formal affair.

I’m a wedding planner and need modest, comfortable dresses for my job. This one was perfect for an Indian wedding when accessorized with a big vintage Indian necklace. Super comfortable! Can wear any bra with it. Really loved this dress!

I did not notice until I put the dress on that. The sleeves are completely different and different lengths. The RTR first photo of the dress does show that the sleeves are different. I did not notice it and no one in the reviews mentioned it. The last RTR photo shows the two sleeves being even. With 4” heels the length was fine. The dress is very flattering and comfortable.

The arms were super fun! The fabric was thinner than I thought it would be.

Chic, comfortable, flattering, and low-key sexy. Wore with a chunky gold necklace, a generous stack of gold bracelets, and black heels.

Fit like a glove and gently brushed the floor with 3.5" heels. I felt gorgeous in this dress with red glitter peep toe pumps and sparkling jewelry. The side slit was just enough sexy for a work gala with the conservative look of the rest of the dress. Firm fitting so shape wear did the trick. I loved the sleek scuba type material. I would rent again.
