This fabric gave and had some stretch so it was very comfortable. You do have to pull it over your head to get it on as there are no zippers etc. The fit was very flattering and perfect for a gala I attended.

Needed a black tie event dress quickly, and this was perfect. I was worried it might be tight in the chest (I’m a 36K) but not at all! It’s very forgiving and stretchy while still feeling luxe. I love the texture and the trumpet style hem. I would wear this to everything!

Loved the fit of this dress!! Was very stretchy so did not squeeze me at all and the rouching is in a good spot so the dress isn't tight on the stomach area. Was very elegant for a wedding and would wear again!

I loved this dress! It was super comfortable and stretchy, which made it really easy to wear all day. I’m 5’4” and wore the Medium Petite — the length was perfect. The material has a nice textured feel, and the ruching is really flattering. It gives a soft, smooth look to curves without feeling tight. It is lined, so ideal for a cooler weather event. I’d definitely rent this one again!

I had a black-tie optional wedding, but we had to wear black dresses, and this was perfectttt!!! I have a formal black dress but for some reason when I looked in my closet Monday I could NOT find it anywhere. I spent an entire day going store to store trying to find something I even remotely liked that would fit the dress code, and I had no luck and no time to order something from a traditional retailer. I ordered this on a Monday night to arrive by Thursday, which was perfect. This one was so chic and classic. I got the small and XS, and both fit almost identically. I ended up wearing the XS because at the last second I realized the bottom of the small could've used a little steaming, and I was running a little late, so I just wanted to see, and I noticed very little difference in the fit, so I just went with the XS. For everyone in attendance wearing black, and this being pretty classic, I couldn't believe how many compliments I got. I am a personal stylist, so I was originally bummed I might have to be in something boring when I had a fun reason to dress up, but this was seriously so great. I love the neckline and the way it ruches right around the hip area because they are the perfect little details that set my dress apart from other just classic black dresses. Because of the neckline I wore my hair up and statement earrings to emphasize the neckline and avoid too much is going on around your neck and shoulders. It really drew attention to the draping across the neckline to keep it simple. For reference, I am 5'4 and was worried about needing a long dress hemmed like the one I own, so I didn't have to wear 5-inch heels, but I ended up being able to wear these random 1.5 sparkly Zara sling backs to add some sparkle to the look because the height of my heel made zero difference to the length! I'm not necessarily short but typically a formal floor length dress I need at least a couple inches hemmed or to wear really high heels and didn't need to with this one!

I wore this to one of my ballroom dance get togethers and I felt very confident and comfortable in this dress (after putting my standard shape wear on) There is stretch and no zipper. Would not recommend for tango.

You have to get the dress settled on you just right esp if you are wearing a body suit like I was! There are 2 layers of fabric but that’s what makes it high quality and flattering!!

I got this as a backup dress because I thought it was a basic dress but it turned out so beautiful! It is very comfortable, not too long and was very flattering. I have big hips/butt and this shaped me very well without the need for a faja! I dressed it up with gold accessories and I loved the way I looked :)

This dress is the perfect black sheath gown for multiple occasions! I’m 5’1”, 127lbs and the size small fit great. The textured fabric and ruching in the torso makes it forgiving, and petite friendly. I actually didn’t wear this to my event as I liked the other dress I chose better, but would definitely rent again when I need a classic black gown.

Wore this dress to formal work party. Very comfortable dress and received many compliments! Favorite dress I’ve ever worn! One thing to note is i would have preferred to be longer cause i was wearing heels but no big deal.

let me tell u what this dress did for me (TLDR: everything) I have forward rolling shoulders, and don't like to highlight them with thin straps.. that was my biggest concern, but this dress covered them beautifully without being too modest, all while highlighting parts of my body I like more. the waistline is insanely flattering, made me look way more curvy than I usually do (my boyfriend asked if the dress was padded..) the drop seam and scrunch is just perfection. it creates an amazingly flattering illusion, elongating the torso, and drawing attention to the lower waist and butt. it was also super comfortable and breathable. the armpits are low enough that I didn't sweat into the dress, or rub weird, but aren't so low that any side boob is exposed or anything.. it was just genuinely perfect. this is size small. I am about 5'7, wore a short heel, and the length was flawless. I wore a wireless nude bra. I had absolutely no complaints. I felt like Audrey Hepburn. It was so beautiful, even being a (seemingly) simple black dress in a sea of black-tie attire, I felt like I was shining in the crowd. 1000% would rent again.!!!!
