This dress fit very well, I really could've worn the XS or the S, but liked the shorter skirt on the XS. Definitely blouses enough for any sized chest. It felt casual enough for school, while being artsy & edgy too. I decided to wear it slightly unbuttoned, but it definitely looked good both ways. The slit was perfectly placed & I always felt secured & covered. Wish I owned this dress!

Rare to find a fit so perfect for true hourglass. Some have commented on a tight fit in the waist band, but if you are little in the middle (but you got much back) you will love this dress. The asymmetrical front is a bit short for work on taller gals, but with opaque tights–no big deal. Creative, professional, sexy look. Great for day to nite.

I wear a 4 typically, which is usually a small. That being said, I have an hourglass shape with a booty. The difference between the small and the medium was all about the hips. The top part on the medium fit blousy without looking big. The zipper down the side was a little annoying, only because it caused the top part to stick out a bit, but that's me being type A bc it's not noticeable/distracting or bothersome. Overall I loved the dress and received many compliments. Another rtr success!

Wore this for a date night cooking class! So in love with it!! The sleeves were slightly long but I just rolled them!! Didn't want to return yesterday! Looking forward to renting through unlimited next time!! Love the style of bottom of dress! Can be worn to work or out for just about anything!!

Reviews are accurate, it runs small........I rented a S, and it fit well, but really hard to zip over the seam...I mean REALLY hard. LOVE the dress once you get it on, though! It's pretty short when you sit down, so hopefully I won't be flashing people all day that walk in the office. LOL

Dress is really good quality, and super cute! Looks exactly like it does online. Fit is pretty tight at the waistband with no give, so if you like to have a little bit of breathing room, I'd suggest getting a size up from your normal size as your backup dress. Typically a size 4/6 and the M fit perfectly -- I have broad shoulders, and narrow hips. Highly recommend for a classy/fun night out! Wore it to a brewery for NYE.

I got a small and medium. The small fit but it was a little too short for an engagement party so I ended up wearing the medium for the length. The waist definitely doesn't have any give but I was comfortable during the 4 hours I had it on. I really love this dress and had a hard time sending it back. Until next time :)

The small was very tight but I made it work and it looked really cute on for work. I loved the vertical stripes, the asymmetrical hems and the soft, silky fabric. However, after 8 hours at work, it was painful and I was excited to get out of it and breathe! I am not sure how the medium would fit, so I'm going to rent it and see. I am thinking about even losing 5 pounds to get this size small to fit because it looked SO cute on.

I received a ton of compliments on the dress and didn't want to take it off at the end of the night! I am 5'8" and am between a size 8-12 depending on the brand. I ordered a medium & a large and I wore the large because, as other reviews have mentioned, the waist has absolutely zero give. That being said, once on the dress was comfortable (even a little billowy in the chest area which never happens for me)! I was able to eat and dance all night. The dress is a bit short when sitting so keep that in mind if wearing to a professional event.

I absolutely loved this dress! It fit me perfectly! The sleeves were a little long, but it wasn't too noticeable. It is a tad short when sitting, but if you cross your legs like a lady, it still looks classy. Other reviews mentioned that the waist was very snug, but I didn't have that problem. The stripes made me look even more slender than I am, but gave my derrière some nice definition. I would most definitely rent this dress again!

got this dress for an evening networking event and paired with black tights for winter wear. The fit was perfect and I am busty (32E) and there was no issue with buttons. I got a back up size L, but did not need it. Would absolutely order again and omit the tights for early spring

I got a medium and large, but wore the large because it was roomier. The top was a little big, but it wasn't that big of a deal. It fit wonderfully at the waist and the length was perfect. I got a lot of compliments!

I wore this to a corporate Christmas dinner party. It was perfect for the occasion as it was very classy in a modern way. There is no give at all in the waist area. I can typically get into a xs but couldn't even zip it up in this case. The blouse portion of the small was a bit more roomy than I like but didn't take away from the beauty of the dress. Overall it was great and I received several compliments. Definitely a favorite.

The dress fit perfectly and could not have looked better. The only problem? Not having a great event to wear it to that evening. Conferences are boring but I'm not going to let that influence my style.

The Esquire Dress runs true to size and I would suggest going a size up for back up. The dress is very fitted throughout the midsection and hip area I would suggest going up a size for curvier women. The bust area is loose and great for any cup size, you can style and adjust the bust area for however tight or loose you would like it to fit. The length of the dress is mini to mid - thigh. The navy striped dress would be ideal from a casual day to a night on the town.

I wore this dress to work and out for dinner & drinks. I couldn't tell you how many compliments I received throughout the day wearing this. This dress is a more structured version of a pin-stripe shirt. I ordered both the medium and the large and ended up wearing the large. The medium fit great in the top, however, it was not accommodating for my curvy hips. The large was slightly bigger in the bust area, but since it is fitted at the natural waist, it gave my body a nice shape. Overall, a dress that I am considering purchasing since I loved it so much.

This dress is super cute & pretty comfortable - but I wish I wouldn't have sized up. The large was definitely too big on me (normally a 6-8) and I had to roll the sleeves, and the neck did not fit right. I did however still get a lot of compliments on it! Like the other reviewers said, the waist is VERY snug. The small was a sexier fit but no way could I have survived the night without the waist cutting me in half. But the medium worked, and even though the waist was still snug, it was tolerable. And everyone loved it! So that helped. :)

Overall, a nice quality dress. I planned to wear it to a conference but the waist was a bit too tight to be comfortable throughout the day. Definitely better for standing up not sitting down. The rest of the dress was comfortable and fit well though. I would probably go up a size if I rented it again.

I rented this for an engagement party/dinner for a wedding in which I am a bridesmaid. I wanted something nice, classy, and nothing to detract from the bride! This dress was perfect. The rumors are true about the waist band having no give- it is extremely tight! Everywhere else on the dress fit wonderfully- the sleeves were the right length, and the dress wasn't too long or too short. I wore the S, despite the tight waistband, because the M was comically huge on me. If I had been standing all night, the waistband wouldn't have bothered me, but since we had a sit-down dinner, by the end of it I was begging to be unzipped. Overall, I loved how stylish and sophisticated this dress made me feel!

Beautiful! Very flattering, but the waist has NO give. I have a 27" waist and the zipper is small and runs through thinck fabric, definitely a tight squeeze and a lot of works. Looks great once its on!

Fits true to size everywhere but the waist. I got the Small to zip up just one time, after that it was a no go! I liked the way the Small fit overall over the Medium, but I had to go with the Medium in the end. I belted it, but it looks great without one. Very stylish, conservative yet modern design. The dress was a little short so if you are ready to expose some legs go for it. There is no stretch but the only part that was a little tight was the waist band. It was fine for a few hours but I wore it for around 12 hours and was annoying having it on that long but great great super cute! Order the med and the L and went with the M because there large was big in the top and I have full breast. True to size!

I'm slightly disappointed in this review because I had my eye on this dress for a while. I rented it for a baptism and felt that it was formal but still cute. I tried both the small and medium in store and went with the medium because the small would not zip past my hips (I have barely any hips lol). I noticed the dress was extremely tight at the waist and loose everywhere else. After our late lunch I had to change out of it because it was cutting into my stomach. Overall it looked really really cute but did not fit well or feel good. I would not rent this dress again.

I loved this concept but if you have an inkling of curves it might not fit right. I probably should have gone up to a medium, but then the waist probably would have been too tight. The slit/opening revealed a lot of leg. The fabric is unforgiving. Order two sizes if you can, because too small really is too small.

I rented this to wear for a conference and because I am 5,3", I did not expect the shortest part to be quite as short as it was. I am glad it was cold so I could wear tight! The material was also thicker than expected. The waist is very trim- I intended to wear it all day at the conference but since it was a big tight and a little shorter than expected I saved it for the evening receptions instead. People really liked it despite everything else, so I would recommend for a work event but if you don't have a tiny hourglass waist don't plan to wear it the whole day!

This dress was brand new! Both sizes still had their tags. I wore the small to my event and boy, I'm glad I did! I didn't think about it, since it seems long when you're walking around, but when you sit, the split seam in the front is VERY short, and right in between your legs. I certainly sat cross legged all night and was very mindful. But it was a totally different style for me, and really fun to wear! I felt like a powerful business women. I wore the neck unbuttoned a few buttons, which was much more comfortable then how it is on the model. Very minimal jewelry too-the dress speaks for itself.

The good news is that the dress is awfully cute and well-made. The bad news is that it's ridiculously small. I couldn't even get it over my head - always a boost to the self-esteem! If you wear a larger size (as I do), you'll probably want to take a pass on this.

The material is fantastic. Perfect for a special work function, but unfortunately oddly small at natural waist. It fits great and is proportionate in top and bottom, but like the other reviews stated, the waist is extremely small. I would have rented the Medium but they did not have my size. My only concern would be that it would then be too big everywhere else.

I loved this dress. I wore it for my class reunion, and it was perfect. I typically wear a 00P, so I was nervous about the fit. Several of the reviews said it was tight in the waist so I took a risk that it would be small enough to fit my waist and it definitely was. It was a little long in the sleeves, but worth it. Such a great twist on a classic outfit.
