Even though this arrived the day after I needed it, I managed to work it for Halloween, and got so many compliments. It's beautiful and high quality, but that also means it's heavy, and the elastic in the waist wasn't strong enough to keep it from slipping down. It didn't fall off but I had to keep yoinking it up again.

Love, love, love. It's a real statement piece. Only wish it weren't so expensive. The skirt is heavy though so it's best for cooler weather and the weight can pull it down a little.

This skirt is so extra. Lol. Meaning it's so fabulous you try to save it for a special occasion but may just need to go ahead and be extra on a random Tuesday. I rented to take to italy but it basically took up my whole carryon and it's heavy, so I left it behind. I ended up wearing to brunch at a friend's house and did a mini photo shoot. It's a great skirt if u have somewhere to go!

The embroidery on this skirt is outstanding. Very heavy and the elastic at the waist had trouble holding up on my waist. I pinned it and it worked. Complements for days. Runs a bit large

They didn't have the smallest size so it was a bit big on me, but wore for my bachelorette down in Mexico (just pinned the waist) and could not have felt more fabulous. Quality was amazing!

This skirt was hard to part with. Elastic waist makes it so comfortable, ruffles were so fun, and material is gorgeous with embroidery. Highly recommend to size down.

The elastic waist band lost its elasticity and the skirt is very heavy.- so I had to use some safety pins. It was just what I needed for Halloween costume!

This skirt was a showstopper. I still to this day have people recognize me because of this skirt and I rented 3 years ago. I can’t believe i forgot to review it then. The waist did fit a little big but it honestly just felt comfortable. It is heavy, but man, this is honestly just one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever rented from RtR.

If you have a small waist, size down! I could’ve gone a size smaller. But I’ve loved this skirt for years and finally rented for our anniversary weekend. It was EVERYTHING!!

I love this skirt. I do wish I had sized down because it was loose which made it feel heavy but it was a great outfit for the Bad Bunny orchestra.

Heavy dress with an elastic waistband. They didn’t have my size so I got what they had but definitely could have gone done 2-3 sizes from what I got. I ended up safety pinning it but it is such a beautiful, full, and heavy dress. Definitely looks expensive. Can be dressed up or down. Loved it. Would love to rent again on the right size next time. :)

I absolutely loved wearing this skirt. It was fun and swishy. It was long and had a lot of volume, so definitely for the tall girls. The fabric is a thicker brocade, as other reviewers have noted, but that was not a problem for me. I got the correct size, so I did not have the problem of it falling down the way other people did. However, my family did not like it for some reason, maybe because it looks slightly more like a cancan costume. Because of that, I only wore it once. But if you have the right occasion, you should definitely rent it.

Think about what you will pair this with - no long jackets - need a cropped something…

I absolutely loved the skirt. The elastic waist band was very comfortable, and the skirt had a nice weight to it and was very structured. Definitely dramatic and memorable. I paired it with a simple crop top to keep it casual, but I could have made it much more formal if I had needed to. I could definitely see myself renting this again.

I was super surprised at how versatile this is. This size was a little bit on me, but it was the only one that was available so I made it work. Definitely take your normal size because of the elastic waist. Can be dressed up or dressed down in so many combos !

I wore this skirt as part of a costume for the renaissance faire! Perfect for fall. The fabric is pretty heavy and good quality. I’d consider renting again not for a costume too!

I rate pieces on a scale of rent worthy to buy worthy- I would never buy this skirt and that's why it was a great rental. It was fun to wear, impossible not to pretend I was a flamenco dancer, and I got comments from everyone... would not want to wear again but was a very fun rental

I agree with the other comments that the waist runs a little bit big. The skirt is so heavy that it sags a little bit. Overall though the quality is wonderful.

Very full, thick skirt that is so easy to dress up with any black top or bodysuit. You could literally go to a gala in this. Stunning!

This skirt is incredibly well made. That is obvious and its design is fairly uncommon and thats cool. This skirt would be perfect for a winder or chilly fall even or party. You will get tons of compliments on the originality of it and you will defiantly be noticed in a crowd of people because this skirt is defiantly attention grabbing. But if you are not planning on being somewhere that is very cold or if you get warm easily and don't like caring around extra weight on your bottom half then you might not choose this dress. However if you want to hide you extra curves and things and still look stylish and original, fun and artsy and don't mind the weight of the fabric then RENT IT NOW cause this skirt isn a class of her own.

I could have sized down here for sure. Wore with a black blouse and vintage Bill Blass sliver cropped moto jacket and belted to keep at natural waist. This piece is heavy so I would have liked for it to be tighter at the waist to better stay in place. Good for cooler weather since the fabric is heavy.

This skirt is big and loud. It's fun and flattering and very comfortable. Better suited for fall or winter because it is quite thick. It's a beautiful piece, but I found it a bit of a challenge to style. The 40 fit me well, and I have a 29 in waist.
