This is my second time renting this piece. I would say it runs slightly on the smaller side, but it does have slight stretch. Fabric is very warm and a little scratchy if you don't tuck your top in. I love the high waist and the body-hugging fit. Perfect for fall and winter.

Gorgeous shape, so flattering, a throwback style that really matches the houndstooth pattern. Very warm, kept me warm at an early winter event. A woman crossed the room to compliment me! I wore a black turtlenecked cashmere sweater, and the only accessories were earrings, as the skirt and waistline are the main draw. I wore pantyhose and after 30 minutes wished I'd also worn a slip as the wool was itchy. I lasted four hours of standing/sitting, then couldn't take it any more. Would rent again for a fall/winter event.

Oh, I just loved this skirt. It is unique, can be dressed up or down, perfect for the office and work parties. It creates a flattering shape as well. The little pocket was sweet! I put my radio or phone there. And, of course the exaggerated high waist was so fun. I wore this 20+ times and was very close to purchasing!

Not something I would typically wear which is why I rented it. Loved it! Unfortunately RTR was out of my normal size 6 so I went with a 4 - not gonna lie it was a little snug - but doable! Only downside was that it was hot! I am always freezing but found myself sweating with the skirt. Wouldn’t stop me from renting again though!

The cut of this skirt is truly unique, extending lower (t length) and higher (just below bra line) than the usual pencil. Also loving the color palette in the houndstooth! Wish I could keep.

I loved this skirt, even if no one else did. Best for pear shapes! For all my ladies with a tush, RTR recommended a 40, and 42 fit great! I’m 131, 5’3”, and have a somewhat small waist - this was great. It was lined, so it wasn’t itchy, and I managed to snag this right at that first fall freeze in illinois so it was very cozy for that cold walk from your car to your desk (if any of you still go into office). It is tapered toward the bottom and really elongates the leg with even a little heel, however I did sort of have to spin to get in and out of any deep chairs, haha. Loved the skirt!

Had a little bit of trouble with the zipper going up and down. Otherwise great skirt a lot of movement and stretch. I love how high waisted it is.

so easy to dress up or down. I thought it ran on the small side. Other reviews said it was itchy, but I personally did not think it was. Not something I would rent again.

This skirt was definitely a statement. It was form fitting, but a little tight in the waist. I received many compliments, but the high waist is a little odd. I felt like my boobs were on display since the skirt hit right below them. It was a little itchy, but a fun rental.

I thought this skirt is so cool and love the fabric and pattern… but just hated the way it looked on me! Even though the fit was right on - yes, the waist is fitted and it’s snug through the hips, but that’s the way a pencil should fit - I felt awkward. The fabric is very thick (and super itchy, even with tights) and added so much visual weight all the way around. The pocket placement is odd, and the side zipper stopped at the waist leaving a gap for the top ruffle on one side. I felt like it should have had a few hooks or something but didn’t notice signs of anything being pulled or missing. For those of you rocking this - my hat is off to you!

This is the 3rd time Ive rented this skirt. I love it. Very warm. Not itchy. Very classic style. Always get lots of compliments on it. Would definitely recommend. But definitely only in colder weather.

I've been eyeing this skirt for years and finally rented it. I received many compliments but didn't love it on my body. Regardless of that, it's a talking piece and worth renting at least once!

I love this skirt. It is quite itchy though. I wore tights under it and that helped but not completely correct.

The skirt is perfect pencil silhouette and I received tons of compliments. Paired with a crisp white mens wear shirt and high heeled black knee high boots. Loved this look!

The skirt is pretty cool but extremely itchy. I would have to wear tights under.

I ordered a size too small but thats on me; I'm 4 months postpartum and just don't know how things fit. The bigger issue is it sits at the high waist then has these pleats - which I like - but they extend up another 1.5". So if you have big boobs or a short-ish (or even regular-ish) torso theres not enough space between the top of the skirt and your chest. I guess this is obvious from the photo now that I'm looking at it again. But it's still a cool skirt, just needs a different body type than mine.

Watch out for the side pocket on the skirt. I didn't realize it was there and felt it added bulk to my hips in a weird spot.

It is itchy, runs small, and has a weird pocket in a random place. I did not end up wearing this.

Very unique piece. Warm, comfy fit. Very random pocket, but it fit my phone so that was a win!
