I am 5'10, and was 16 weeks pregnant in this photo. I normally wear a medium, or size 6-8. The small was still so loose around the waste, you can clearly see the lining where it should be cinched and flattering is hanging off me. I can't think of any body type this would be flattering on. I was sad

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this dress but I loved it. It's got great weight making it fall really nicely. The stripes are flattering and fun and the ruffles make it extra special. I wore a few times yesterday n quarantine- but got 2 compliments at Whole Foods! Will def rent again. I'm tall - 5'9"- and hit right at ankles/floor in flats. Nice stretchy knit but holds shape.

Super comfortable dress but also felt dressed up, not too fancy, not too casual, perfect in between for a night out at a fancy restaurant with friends. Loved the ruffles on it and how they add a little pop. I'm 5'4" and it was almost too long for me in flats, so if you are shorter you might need heels.

This dress is so forgiving and terribly comfortable. It's fun and elegant. I adore it!

The dress runs large. I belted it to give it some definition. It's a great dress for summer, and has pockets.

This dress is really flattering and unique. My one issue wit it is that it's very long. I'm 5'4" and the small was almost a gown length, not at all like the calf length on the model. The fabric is pretty heavy so I wouldn't recommend for a super hot day in the sun. But it is unlined, and it has pockets!

I needed a dress to wear to my friend's Celebration of Life Service. I did not want to wear all black. She was fun and so I opted to wear a striped geometric type print. The dress is well made. It did not have lining and did not need one. I was delighted to find pockets! The ruffles were sweet. The length made it more elegant. I looked classy, chic, yet was very comfortable and I wore it out to an upscale steakhouse with my husband on a date.

I thought it was cute, fun, and fit perfectly. The only flaw that I found was that it seemed a bit bulky around the waist, so I wore it with a belt at the waist. I would highly recommend this dress for work, a date, or a fun spring/summer evening out.

I wore a size medium but I wish I would have gotten the small. I'm a size 8 and hourglass - I could have used a small but it still works. Very comfortable.

I was fine for work, not particularly flattering. It was still cold so I threw a sweater on over it and I could pop the collar out which was cute.

Beautiful, heavyweight fabric gives a wonderful drape and swing to the skirt. I'd advise sizing down however, as the weight of the dress pulls quite a lot on the elastic waistline. This dress is more formal than I'd imagined given the photos on RTR, but I still wore it out for a "casual day in the city."

Fabric is too heavy for the design of the dress (elastic waistband can't hold it up) and it's also too synthetic and cheap to be something I would want to wear to an event - but it's also too long and heavy for everyday, so this dress, while pretty, doesn't quite work for me for any purpose.

This dress was a lot longer than I expected. The material was a lot thicker than I had expected as well.

Listen, I'm a sucker for stripes so I just wanted it for the unusual stripe situation alone. I rented it for vacation in Hawaii and, though the fabric is substantial, it was great in the warm weather. Looked appropriate for upscale dinners, but also fun and not too serious for island life. Travels great!

I wore this on my birthday last month and felt like a million bucks. It carried me from an outdoor brunch friends to my "Paris Party" at home with my husband and kids. I felt fancy and comfortable and got compliments from everybody. The shape was fun and flattering without being restrictive (hello elastic waist!), the fabric was slinky and substantial without being too hot for a late LA summer, and the pattern was eye-catching (but in my favorite color palette--simple black and white). If you're thinking about renting it, DO IT! I'm a 4/6 with a short torso, narrow shoulders, and a big booty, and the S worked great for me. If you have a longer/broader top or bigger boobs and are between sizes you may want to size up, as the waistband is high and the arm holes are small.

Loved this dress! Lined and thick well made fabric. I don't usually wear a Medium (from RtR), but I listened to reviews and glad I did and sized down. This was a keeper for me!

The material of the dress is very heavy so I didn't end up wearing as it is 90+ degree weather right now. As others have noted, the dress runs large. I sized down to an XS (normal size 4) and the dress was still very loose. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone who is smaller than a 4 as you will be swimming in it. This dress needs a belt in order to give it shape.

This was really comfortable. I wore it to work, put a cardigan over it and paired it with brown boots and a brown belt. The neck material flipped out oddly, but nothing that could be tamed by the cardigan.

I gave this dress three stars because I just LOVED it! Unfortunately, I did not get to wear it because it was so, so big on me. I tried to make it work with a belt, but it still looked ridiculous. The weight, the print, the fabric - everything about it was amazing. For reference I am 5'0, 97lbs and normally wear 00 or 0 in dresses and it was huge! If you wear a larger size, definitely rent this! You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful dress but it's a little off.. sizing is a little large, the elastic waist line was a bit stretched lower in the back and higher in the front. I tried to add a belt but it was just blah. Very long- I'm 5'8 and with a heel it reached my ankle.
