Excuse the awkward pre-event hotel pic LOL but i LOVED this dress so much. It fit like a glove and gave me well-to-do-sexy-woman-at-a-white-house-dinner-in-the-60s-vibes? If that makes sense? But obviously it's not like.... an actual dress from the 60s it's very much modern and cool. As a girl who has worn many a Reformation dresses to weddings, it was great to be reminded what a high-quality material feels like (no shade). I know what people mean when they say this dress is tight. A lot of the other comments say that it's tight in the bust but i found it tight in the hips, c'est la vie. But tight in the best of ways IMO. Rent this dress. Do it.

I loved this dress, it hugged in the right places and had a great 90s vibe. I am typically between a 6-8 in dresses. I ordered the 8 and it was too small. The 10 fit perfectly. The dress doesn’t have a lot of give since it is very form fitting. Err on the side of sizing up!

Sized up one size and definitely wouldn’t have been able to zip up if I didn’t. But you want it snug to avoid extra fabric! Shapewear for the wine. I had to wear platforms for the length. No bra needed. There was a little stretch so by the end of the night dancing and moving was no problem. I really loved the look and got a ton of compliments at the wedding!

I received endless compliments on this dress. The neckline and structure were flattering and the dress was comfortable. To note: the dress is long, high heels needed for us shorter gals and the bust worked for me but if you have a larger bust the size might not work.

This dress was everything. Wore it to a black tie wedding, received so many compliments. The dress was somehow brat and demure. It fits like a glove. But like everyone said, definitely size up. The 4 just barely zipped and thank god it did because the dress fit like it was tailored for my body. I’m 5’3 and a 3 inch heel was perfect for the length.

Fit perfectly! Wore it to a formal. Was a tad long and had some issues with the straps slipping but otherwise perfect.

I LOVED this dress! I got so many compliments in it, and I'd totally buy if it I could afford it. Size up! My usual size is a 4 or a 6, but the 8 worked best. The size 10 was just a tad too big. It hugs right at your hips, so it can feel a little uncomfortable if you're sitting too long. I'm also a bit busty, and I didn't have to wear a bra with it. I did wear spanx because I was feeling bloated, but honestly the dress has quite a bit of structure that I probably would have been more comfortable had I not worn them. Despite the minor discomfort, I just loved the way I looked!

Size up and its perfect. I'm a true 6 and the 8 was it. Still a little tight in the chest, but it worked. Little brown dress is the new LBD! Loved this dress, but it’s a tough fit for an hourglass figure. I’m usually between 2-4 but ordered 4 & 6 based on reviews. The 4 was great in the waist but tight in the hips & the 6 was kind of loose in the waist. Made the 6 work, but this dress has zero flex, so it works comfortably on a very specific body type

I ended up going with an 8 (4 months postpartum so still not sure what my size is really) but thought it was super flattering and both classy and sexy at the same time. Great for fall.

Different than expected - tight in the boobs but then not form fitting on the rest of the body. It’s also a stiffer material so it sits stiffly. Also there are these lines that are hard to tell in the photograph. I didn’t end up wearing

Don’t get me wrong this dress is beautiful and with 5” heels the perfect length even though I’m short. But I am generally a size 0 on top and 4 on bottom and I was uncomfortable in this dress. It was too tight on my hips and burt and made it difficult to sit. If ai had gone up a size, it would have been too big in the top. If you proportions mimic mine, this isn’t the dress for you.

I wore this dress to a fall wedding. I absolutely love the color, the fit was perfect for me, as was the length. My only issue was how wrinkled it got. I had to fly for the wedding and when I took the dress out of my suitcase I couldn't believe how wrinkly it got and I was at the mercy of my hotel iron. I ironed it for a long time and it barely seemed to help. The material is more sheath than I realized when I ordered it. Luckily, it looks fine in photos but I felt a little embarrassed at the wedding. Just beware if you have to travel for wherever you want to wear this to.

I am a true 4 in almost all sizes, usually a 26-27 waist in denim. I ordered a 4 and I could *barely* get over my hips. The stomach was looser, but the dress couldn't close around my rib cage. The color is gorgeous, but runs small if you have curves. My boobs were too big for the top area too. I would probably need a size 8 to make this work.

Did not end up wearing because it wasn’t quite right for the event but LOVE this dress and will rent again in the future for the right event. This dress is TIGHT but the material is gorgeous and surprisingly flattering. Definitely shows every curve. Size up! I’m a 4-6 and the 6 fit like a glove.

I loved it and received a ton of compliments, but this definitely runs on the smaller size! I listened to the reviews and sized up from my usual size 2 to a size 4, and it was perfect.

This dress is gorgeous. Super flattering so you dont need shapewear. Just an amazing dress. I usually wear an 8-10 and I got a 10 in this because its not stretchy.

this is probably my favorite dress I’ve rented. It’s so flattering, beautiful color, in style and amazing quality. It does fit very tight especially in the bust. I’m 5”5, 115 pounds, 32b and size 2 fit perfect. I’m usually always a size 0 so I’m glad I sized up.

I'm so glad I requested a back up size because I ended up wearing the 4, instead of the 2. I'm 110lbs, 5'5", 34B and the 2 wouldn't zip! Very flattering and perfect length with a mid heel.

Runs small! For Staud, I wear an XS or S but this dress fits perfectly in size 4. Size 2 was doable but it would have taken 2 people to zip up. I am obsessed with this dress though and I hope RTR stocks all of the colors.

While I loved the style of the dress, I was between two sizes. I am usually a 6 or 8 but other reviews said to size up so I ordered an 8 and 10. The 8 fit but was very snug so I went for the 10. It was a bit large in the chest but manageable.

Liked but didn’t wear because it was longer, and therefore dressier, than expected. If you get the fit right, very flattering in a Kardashin - show off the curves way. Size up relative to usual size / typical Staud size.

I’m typically between a 4 and a 6 and the 6 in this gown for PERFECTLY. It’s super clean and classic, and the fabric is thick which really holds you in (no need for spanx!). Slight 90s shine to the fabric. Absolutely obsessed !!!!
