Listen to the reviews - this dress runs small! This is the second time I ordered and sized up. Linen dress, zero stretch. Smashed the breast down, even sized up I couldn’t fit a bra or bandeau so you just see them weirdly squeezed…..somehow it worked ;) It’s a literal tube, not a shape to be found, and walking is strange because just at the top of your stride it yanks you back. Again, DESPITE of all these issues, this dress is DELIGHTFUL. The colors, the stripes, the effortless vibes….its just a winning look!

Rented multiple times before giving in & buying. Only downside is there is no slit, so it noticeably limits your stride when walking. Quality fabric can be worn with a strapless bra or no bra. Love the muted colors and that it is such a versatile summer piece that can be dressed up or down. Looks great with the coordinating Staud striped sweater over it but I couldn’t bring myself to splurge on both pieces.

I wore a size large, which is bigger than my usual size 6 / small–medium, but it was the right call. The linen has very little give, and I wanted it to skim rather than cling through the hips. The length worked well on my 5’-8” frame—long and lean without dragging. The bust fit comfortably without pulling (I’m a 34C), and the straps sat nicely without feeling flimsy. If you’re between sizes or want an easy, relaxed fit, I’d recommend sizing up.

Was a little hesitant to rent this because of the mixed reviews. I’m between a medium and a large depending on the brand. Rented a large in this dress and the fit was perfect. Walking is a little “limited” by the length/lack of a slit but nothing crazy. I’m tall and the length was great. The drape is lovely (straight and loose enough but not shapeless) and the colors are great for summer. Loved this so much that I purchased!

I have a wider chest frame area 34/36 so I listened to reviews and sized up and was happy I did. Wore to work with a sweater, farmers market, beach. I wish there was a slit in the back for wider steps when walking but it’s so cute and I felt cute so I took shorter steps.

Loved this dress - wore it SO much during my rental period. It was perfect for vacation, but also threw it on a few times to go out to dinner. Received so many compliments every time I wore it! I will agree that it’s a TAD too long, so I had to lift it up while I walked so I wouldn’t trip.

Should’ve listened to the reviews that this was hard to walk in so it wasn’t great for my vacation. But loved the look and was super comfy when not walking.

I am pretty long and lean and it was a very straight and narrow fit, I can imagine if you have hips it could be snug. And also no slit so you can’t take long strides or steps. Was fine for a party with lots of standing but not ideal for lots of walking. Also fit large in the chest, but the adjustable straps helped. Great and easy dress!

This fit great, was comfortable, but there’s no slit so I couldn’t take full strides (I have long legs) without hiking the dress up. It’s not great for doing a lot of walking for that reason

The dress is very straight which makes taking steps difficult? Lol. The dress itself is very cute but don’t wear if the place you’re going to has a lot of stairs

Was so excited to finally snipe this rental! It was so cute but like the other reviews say, it was tight in the chest and booty. Also agrees that slits would make it more wearable. Otherwise cute!!

It’s so cute but it’s one of those dresses you can’t walk in because the dress opening is too narrow. That’s a no for me

So I am typically a xs/small. The small was way too small in my hips/butt and there is no give. I am not really sure the medium would even work because It was big in the waist area. I have a small chest so it fit my chest but if you have boobs …also size up.

This is a great summer dress, especially if you are small-chested. I rented this dress for an event, but wore it numerous times to elevate my everyday look. I received countless compliments on it. Walking fast in this dress is a little tricky, but I didn't mind holding the skirt.

Loved the fit, I find Staud runs small so I sized up. I'm a pear so the hips fit better in the larger size.

I rented this multiple times it's a really fun dress. It's very flattering on my body type. I would size up. It's meant to be floaty and non-restricting. Only wish there was a bit of a slit as movement can be a little limited

Perfect maxi for someone with a small bust! Like other reviews say, don't plan on doing a lot of walking without looking like a penguin waddling. (Wish there had been a slit!)

Could not wear this but it’s a beautiful dress. Not for curvy people unless you size up.
