A bit tight in the arm area

This was my second time renting this dress. So comfortable, yet feels fancy!

Dress was long on me but with 4-5 inch heels it brushed the floor.

One of my absolute favorites. Stylish and comfortable.

If between sizes I recommend sizing up as the chest and sleeves run small. Due to the open back recommend boob tape. The dress is light weight, very comfortable and has deep pockets. Would definitely rent again. I originally ordered the pink but they could not ship larger size so I went with red which was a huge hit.

I wore this to a garden wedding in Spring. It was easy to wear yet chic. As a loose dress, I enjoyed how the cut stayed more fitted up top and opened into an A, so I didn’t feel like I was wearing a potato sack. I wore a regular strapless bra, but kept the strap just a tad lower than the backless part. If it peaks through, the bow will cover it. For fit— I am 5’4” and fluctuate around 120lbs, small with some curve. I usually wear size 2-4 in dresses depending on brand. In this dress, the XS worked best over the S, so I’d say this line runs a little large. For length, I did wear some heels. Received compliments all night- would recommend!

I adored this dress! Favorite thing I've worn to an event! Fabric tends to wrinkle easily, so plan to steam it once it arrives.

This was a great dress and at 5’5 it was the perfect length that I wore my converse formal sneakers. I had a little trouble with the bra and ended up strapless. I got compliments all night and I was incredibly comfortable

The dress was amazing, super comfortable to wear. It may be a bit long and sleeves are a little on the narrow side. I received so many complements and made me feel amazing. The best part it has DEEP POCKETS so you can keep your phone close to you.

Wore it for a Gala-style event, and got many compliments. The color is rich and the fabric is heavy but shapes well. I didn’t want to return it! Absolutely adored it.

I needed a comfortable dress for a formal affair. This one was so fantastic and I received compliments all night long. 3 notes - It is a lot of dress. Super forgiving for all shapes but the sleeves and bust are regular size. I tried to size down but the bust and biceps were too small in the S size. It is also very long! I'm 5'4". I wore 6 in platforms underneath and it still skimmed the floor. It is a very comfortable cotton but wrinkles quite easily. Luckily it's easy to steam or iron. It has pockets!!! Total win.

Other than not being able to life my arms high enough to fix my hair, I am in love with this dress! It was appropriate for a work event, but not boring at all! Wore to a work gala.

The color, the it was just right for a black tie December wedding. The ONLY complaint is that there were 2 others at the wedding wearing the same dress. Apparently it is popular for the same reasons I loved it!

This fit really well and I love the weight of the fabric and the way the dress fell. My only complaint is the sleeves. They were tight on me and were the reason I had to size up

I ordered both a Med and Large. The Large fit me better on top but the bottom was not flattering at all just looked too big. The medium was a better fit but since I am heavy on top I had to use tape (first time) to tape them down. It worked. It was snug but I managed. Received compliments on the dress. The pockets were everything!

A must rent! The color was amazing and I got so many compliments. Also super comfortable. Highly recommend!

LOVED this dress- wore to a black tie optional September wedding when 19w pregnant. Wish I had gotten the petit instead of the regular because it was a lot of fabric on the bottom, but the medium was the right fit in the top for my body at the moment. I was able to wear a regular bar- I just let the straps down a bit. It was soooo comfortable. Loved that I didn’t feel like I looked pregnant in it and could be comfortable from ceremony through the end of the wedding. I can’t tell you how many people stopped me to compliment my dress. Definitely a show-stopper, especially in a sea of black dresses!

In my third trimester, it has been quite difficult to find an elegant dress for a black tie wedding. This Staud gown was a show-stopper. I just sized up, and it fit my big ole bump. I got compliments all night. Best rental yet.

This was a great dress for a work awards banquet. I received so many compliments from ladies I didn't even know. I loved the bow and the pockets. I would recommend you be ready with a backless bra or a form of stickies. It was very easy to move in but the fabric will wrinkle if you have to sit a lot. Photo is from the end of the evening.

The chest was slightly tight but I have a large chest and even more so at 8 months pregnant. The quality of the dress is amazing! I got tons of compliments!

Loved wearing this dress. It is classy and comfortable. I got tons of comments. It did arrive a little wrinkly but steamed out easily. You will need help from someone pinning or taping your bra in the back. I wore 2” heels and it was perfect.

I received so many compliments on this dress! Runs true to size. I wore the Small, 120lbs. I am 5'4 and wore 3" heels and the length was perfect. The pockets are fabulous!

This is a show-stopper and I loved it, got tons of compliments, and appreciated that it was pretty comfortable for a "formal" dress. However, there are definitely some things to know about it before you rent: MATERIAL: the material is a heavy, crisp cotton. You will definitely need to have it pressed before you wear it. It does wrinkle easily, and I was worried about having to hike it up to use the bathroom, but it handled that pretty well. Because it's cotton, it can be dressed down to a more casual look (I saw other reviewers mentioning that they wore sneakers, and now I can see how that would work!) but the overall style and length also make it perfect for a more formal evening. FIT: I am usually a size small in dresses, but I thought the armholes on this were unusually narrow, almost to the point of being uncomfortable. The medium backup size was better in the arms, but then the back gapped a lot, so I stuck with the small. The cut of the dress is A-line, so it's a little more fitted on top but below the ribs it starts to flare out. LENGTH: I was surprised that the length was an inch and a half off the floor. Last year I rented another Staud dress in a similar style, with a sheer overlay which was way too long even with heels. I ended up wearing flats with this dress, although a heel would have worked. UNDERGARMENTS: On the bottom, anything goes, since the dress flares out (no pantylines, etc.) On top, since the back is low, you'll need to make a choice: braless (but the thick material may be too rough and scratchy), a bra with a very low back, or pasties (my choice). OTHER: because of the dramatic back bow, it's a good idea to wear your hair up so the bow can be seen. The back is low cut, but not extremely low, so you don't have to worry about showing too much skin, if that is a concern. This dress has pockets, but I didn't want to risk creating wrinkles by using them.

This was my backup dress but I liked it better than my first choice. It is so comfortable and adorable. The big bow on the back is a delightful contrast to the minimal front. I am 5’7” and 135 pounds and small fit well, though another inch in length would have been prettier. Also, it has pockets. It’s red! It’s a little edgy and that suited me just right. I wore it with all black accessories. I felt great.

I wore this to a work holiday party and received compliments all night. It’s so easy to wear without having to suck in. The pockets are perfect and the bow is such a fun touch. Ironed it before wearing.

Wore to a Black Tie Gala. Got spontaneous compliments all night long -wait staff stopped serving to compliment me. I felt like a million bucks all night! And I was very comfortable. Wore leggings and sneakers underneath! Rent this dress.

My only complaint with this dress was it was a little tight over the bust area and kept causing my bra to roll down. Other than that it was a perfect fit!

The back is beautiful with the big long bow and this dress is super comfortable. I am still a couple of months postpartum so while the dress isn’t exactly meant to compliment a figure, I did like that it hid my midsection. The lighting isn’t great in the picture but the red is very pretty and it would be a great dress for dancing. I wore a regular bra and occasionally it would show on my back so some double sided tape would do the trick and the bow ribbon is long so kind of hid it anyway. Overall happy with the rental!

My favorite dress I’ve ever worn. Stunning and understated, couldn’t go 2 steps without being stopped about it. In a sea of tight sequins, do this instead.

I had so many compliments! I am 5’7” I had the wear 2” heels to fit me in length!! I wear different sizes based on the designer sometimes I’m an 8 while others I’m a 12. I wore the large. However, I may have been able to wear the M, but I have broad shoulders.
