The dress is lovely; I had to have it pressed though, it was pretty wrinkled upon receipt. It looked great, fit well and was super attractive on me. The colors are gorgeous and it worked well with an Ungaro bag and shoes I've had for years. I got lots of compliments, across the board. The zipper did stick a little, but we got past that. It was my first try with RTR and I've already chosen another dress for a wedding in Las Vegas in a couple of weeks! Now I just wish I had more events to go to! I'm super impressed with this way of dressing/shopping and am SOLD. I don't have time to shop for the perfect outfit constantly--this is a reasonable time saver. You'll wear this proudly and you'll feel beautiful.

Top is large for small chests.

I loved this dress. Really fun to wear and dance in, plus there were pockets that were actually usable because they were in the flared part of the dress and deep enough to hold lipstick, id, etc. As other posters have said, I thought the arm hole and shoulder were a bit tight and the pink lace underneath didn't poke out evenly, but that could have been because I should have worn a larger size. I'm still post baby so figuring out what size I am is tricky.

This dress was perfect. I got compliments all night long -- this was the hardest RTR dress to return by far!

The dress is a little darker/richer in color than the images on the site portray, which is a good thing; I loved the cranberry and eggplant colors. Really perfect dress for an hourglass or pear-shaped lady -- though, I could see going down a size if you're more pear-shaped. The zipper was pretty difficult to move when the dress changed colors, but I found turning it to the front, zipping it past the difficulty, and then turning it back to the side worked.

The fit was between true to size and a bit large. This leads to a comfortable fit. It is great for dancing as well as sitting. No fussing needed. Just put it on and enjoy the night. at 5'10'', this hit me just at the upper knee, just as shown on the model. I wore a strapless bra and there was no peek-a-boo issues and no visible seams because the dress is well cut, lined and the top drapes beautifully. The fabric and the colors were great. Very good quality. Lots of compliments and I felt great all night. Thank you RTR for contributing to a great night. Great colors for fall and a great alternative to black. Trying to add more color to my choices and this dress does it perfectly.

Everything about the dress was perfect except for the zipping it up. I read on the reviews and it stands accurate that getting the zipper up passed the ruching is trying, a little stressful, but once over that bunching, zips up perfect and I was good to go. Cheers!

This dress is beautiful, and I got many compliments on it, but it wasn't as great as I'd hoped when I rented it. I rented the 6 and 8 as I am pretty small on top but larger in the hips, but I found even the top of this dress to be VERY snug, so I wore the 8. Pros: beautiful design, great (and unusual) colors Cons: runs a bit small on top, wool fabric is heavy and the wide weave also caused some bra show-through in photos using flash, fit is long in the torso and overall length for a short person, zipper is basically impossible to get up on your own due to the ruching

Got this for the RTR launch party. Because it was a new addition to the RTR collection, there weren't any real-life pictures and only one review, so I rented on blind faith. The colors are gorgeous, but the material is a kind of thick wool, so it runs a little small because of the extra thickness on the fabric. It's great for fall/winter, but you be be sorry to wear this in the spring or summer! I liked the length, but the bulkiness of the fabric and the sash on the waist made it not the most flattering dress in the bunch. Very cute, though!

This dress got so many compliments on this outfit. The dress runs true to size and is quite close-fitting, so if you're truly between sizes, I'd take the one up. Dress hit at the knees with a quite full skirt. The red sash was very flattering and draws attention to the waist. I shifted the top around for a bit to get it to sit properly, but once it did it stayed all night. Can't say enough good things about the dress. The only downside, mentioned in other reviews: the zipper is very difficult to get up - would advise having someone around to help.

The zipper is really weak - I had to zip it up in front and then shift the dress over to where everything was supposed to be. Other than that, I thought the dress was great!

I enjoyed wearing this dress to an outside/fall wedding. I loved the colors. It is a very think fabric. Overall it is flattering. I would have thought it would have accentuate my curves. but instead I looked more straight up/down rather than hourglass. Stull, lots of compliments! Thanks!

Such a beautiful dress! The colors were unique and vivid and you're bound to stand out in the crowd in this dress. That said, I got this dress in a size 2 since they didn't have a size 0 (my usual size), and it ended up being a tad too big for me in the chest and the waist area. So, I didn't get to wear this dress but I would highly recommend it!

The dress itself is gorgeous. It smelled a little like mothballs, but I let it air out and it was fine. I loved the little sample toiletries that were included from RTR. The size 10 dress had a little tear at the arm, not very noticeable but I didn't end up wearing that size anyway because the 8 fit better overall. The zipper is very cranky, and hard to zip (it actually goes down farther than you think, so keep tugging). Once it's on, it is overall very comfy. The arm hole on the right was a little tight, probably because of my bust size, a little pinchy, but not too uncomfortable. Overall I was very pleased.

The pink on the top of the dress is a little darker in person and be aware that the dress is a very light wool. Luckily the wedding I attended was freezing because the fabric would really show sweat stains. The dress itself is very pretty with fun details like the bright red flouncy underskirt. However, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because in both dress sizes I rented, the invisible zipper was super difficult to zip. This zipper issue had nothing to do with the fit of the dress, but it made me opt to wear the larger size so I'd be less panicky getting out of it at the end of the night.

I wish I would have been able to wear it. I was only able to get it in one size, but it was the same size that I had ordered other dresses in that HAD worked out. The dress was just too small. I'm really bummed out because I really think it was the perfect dress for a fall wedding. Maybe next time.

I loved this dress on the website, but didn't end up wearing it. Unless you are very tall, I think it is just too long to be flattering. I am 5'4" & the skirt hit below my knees. The color is not what I expected - on RTR, it looks like it's maroon/red/black, but actually the skirt & the top are more of a purple-wine color (two tones) - pretty colors, but not what I expected. I also echo the other reviewers' comments about the zipper - VERY difficult to zip/unzip. In fact, I was afraid to try it on - afraid I couldn't get it off.

This dress is truly gorgeous. Beautiful fabric and colors. I was dying to wear it to an event, but ended up going w/ my back up choice. The dress was just too long in the torso and skirt for me. It kind of overwhelmed me.

This dress is even more beautiful in person and I would have loved to have worn it. However, it has a very funky fit. I am an 8, but ordered the 10 because reviews said it ran small. The only place it ran small was in the one armhole -- it cut off circulation (my arms are athletic but not overly big). The neck, waist and hips were ample. Also, for those who can wear the dress but have trouble with the zipper, rotate the dress around to the front and zip it up easily. You can then rotate it sideways and since you only have to fit in one armhole, it is very easy to do.

....but not as great in real life. Colors are lot more muted and the fabric is a tricky one, it is one of these that has quite a bit of odd cling to it. Zipper- so hard to open and close and really weak, I kept praying not to break it while trying this dress on, I never ended up wearing this dress.
