This dress was quite possibly the best one I've ever rented — it was hard to return it. I wore to an optional black tie wedding in the mountains in April, and I received compliments from friends and strangers all night. Fit-wise, the only downside for me was that the straps were a bit long and loose, so I had to pull them up a few times throughout the night but it wasn't constant. I had read on retail sites selling the dress that it runs a bit small, so I opted to rent a 6 and 8 even though I typically rent a 4 and 6. The 6 was the perfect fit, but I could see how the chest area might be too small for someone with a larger cup size. For me it was perfectly snug, offered good support, and was flattering — no bra or pasties necessary. Overall, I felt so pretty in this dress and hope others have the same experience too!

I absolutely LOVED this dress ! I wore this to a quinceñera and received soo many compliments. I recently had a baby so I was trying to find the perfect dress where I didn’t need to wear spanx all night to feel uncomfortable and this was the perfect dress. I ordered in my regular size but considering my circumstances it fit small—but I definitely suggest getting your regular size. If you’re trying to be best dressed for a wedding/formal event, rent this dress, you won’t regret it!

Loved this dress! I got so many compliments. I ordered a 4 and 6 since there were some mixed reviews on sizing. I ended up going with the size for and not need to wear a bra. The straps were long but I just pinned them up it was no problem. I do have a smaller rib cage and chest which is where the dress was a little snug. It fit well but if you have a larger rib cage or chest it may be uncomfortable. For reference I am 5’2” and about 128lbs

I wore this to a bat mitzvah with 'summer cocktail' dress code. It was absolutely perfect for a warm summer event and the dress was so comfortable, snug enough on top and flowy enough on bottom to dance and enjoy myself. I couldn't wear any type of bra or stickies bc of the front cutout, so I slipped in a couple removable bra inserts for a little structure. I got so many compliments on it, it's really beautiful in person. The yellow was a bit paler than I expected, but I liked that. I would buy this dress if available or wear again to a spring/summer event in a heartbeat. I think my only con I could find was that the straps weren't adjustable so a few times a strap slipped off my shoulder. Runs a bit small, I'm usually a 0/2 and the 2 was way too snug so I'm glad my backup was a 4.

The tiered and metallic aspects of this dress made it fun and interesting to wear! Wore it to a summer wedding where dress code was formal attire. Tight in the rib cage, so it runs slightly small - I usually wear a 4 but the 6 was more comfortable. Otherwise the dress fit great!

This dress is really different than my typical style so I was nervous but sooo many people went out of their way to say how much they loved it. The top was a tiny bit tight when I sat down but became more comfortable as the night went on. I typically am between a size 4-6 and went with the smaller of the two. So worth it!

This dress is absolutely stunning in person! It is so beautiful and well-made. I got compliments throughout the evening and multiple people asked where it was from. Unfortunately, the straps do not adjust and the dress was a little large in the bust. I ended up tucking them for the evening but it fit well enough I didn't feel I had to hold the dress all evening.

Beautiful, unique dress. Was a little small around the torso so I wore the larger size. I would recommend sizing up if that is all that is available. Comfortable, loose fitting skirt, very flattering, lots of compliments.

I loved this dress, I’m wider in the ribcage so probably could have worn the 8 but the 6 fit like a glove and the midi length was a perfect floor length on a petite frame without dragging on the floor

This dress was a perfect fit. Absolutely gorgeous to dance in, super comfortable and really flattering. I wish I could’ve kept it!! Length was just right and chest area was good. Overall perfection but only downside is non adjustable straps, would’ve been nice to keep things perkier. Size 10 was good, even slightly large, but size 8 would’ve been too small for my larger ribcage and chest.

This is a must rent. My favorite RTR I've done. Perfect for a summer wedding. Wore it for a black tie optional wedding and got so many compliments. The straps are long and fell few times while dancing, but overall not a major problem. I sized up with this and it worked perfectly. Wore the size 4.

Definitely size up one size! I’m a true size 4 and ordered the 4 and wish I ordered the 6. It was a little tight to breathe and if I had a bigger chest I would not have been able to zip the dress. Other than that 10/10 dress, I was getting compliments all night long!

First of all, this is my first time using RTR, and my experience with renting this dress was so easy, glamorous, and fun that I'm already coming back for my next event rental. For sizing— I typically wear an 8 in everyday clothes, but since there wasn't an 8 available I ordered a 10 and 6 for back up. I fully expected I would be wearing the 10 with maybe a little wiggle room, but I was surprised to find that the 10 swallowed me up and, luckily, the 6 fit really nicely. It was snug but still comfortable the whole night, and I honestly wonder if I wouldn't have preferred it over an 8 if I had ended up trying one on. All that being said, if you're in between sizes I'm led to believe your best bet would be sizing down! Lastly... this dress looked so great on, and on top of that didn't pose any of the usual wardrobe malfunctioning issues that I feel like I'm always stressing over in cocktail and formal wear (no bra needed, no high leg slits to be mindful of, no unflattering fabric clinging, no straps falling, no shapewear(!!!), etc., etc., etc...)! Anyway, it was a dream to be able to just enjoy myself and my compliments all night and not be uncomfortable or stressed over what I was wearing! PS—if you're pale like me and are thinking this yellow is a bold choice, I'm glad I went for it anyway since it's SO pretty but also very glad I paired it with a self-tan :)

The dress is gorgeous, total show stopper. However, the ribcage area is really really tight like a corset almost. I don’t have a large bust either, so large chested women beware. Sizing up would’ve been too big as well. The straps were a bit tight too. That being said, it still worked out and I loved how it looked. Just not the most comfortable.

Wore this to a destination wedding as a guest. I LOVE this dress! I ordered size 2, with a backup of size 0, I am typically a size 0, but as others stated it’s quite tight in the rib cage area. The 0 zipped but was not comfortable. I noticed that both zippers were a little tough to zip fully due to the shape of the seams halfway up the dress, it helps to clasp first.

This dress was really everything I wanted and more. I was seriously considering buying it because of how good I felt in it and how many compliments I received. Would definitely recommend for any formal event!

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but felt the need to with this dress. I’ve been with RTR for years and this was the most complemented dress I’ve ever rented. Pics don’t do it justice but it is beautiful in person. Rented for a summer wedding and it was perfect. I am smaller in the bust, so it fit great, but would caution anyone with larger bust.
