The dress is true to size. I usually wear sz 00-0 for dresses, and the 0 fit well. I’m 5’4”, 100lbs, and the length was perfect. The lace was not too heavy. It’s a sexy and cute dress!

This dress looks amazing on! It is very unique but very classy. I wore this to a wedding and I got A LOT of complements on it. The dress does run small. I normally wear a 0, and a 2 was very snug. I highly recommend this dress if you are looking for something a little fun but not too much.

Love wearing this dress to the botanical garden. Many women tried it on before me but sometimes, a dress that looks hideous on the hanger and Karen can completely transform the right woman. I encourage svelte women with elan to try out Self-Portrait. If it isn't for you, oh well!

Fit is true to size. The zipper stuck a little but I just used the buttons to get in & out of the dress. Such a fun spin on the little black dress!

The shoulders have to give, so order to fit your shoulder size. Mine typically are a size 4.

They didn't have this in my size, so I had to size up. 5'2, 135lbs, 34dd. The 8 was a little loose. 6 would have been perfect. It wasn't as sexy as i wanted...maybe because it was too loose. Didn't get any compliments wearing this one, but i was comfy at least!

Wore this for a charity event and received endless amounts of compliments. It was a very comfortable dress and definitely stood out at this fashion-forward event. The dress has real deep pockets so I could carry my phone, ID, money and lip gloss without being able to tell. I would wear this again!

Fit great

I've seen this dress on bloggers and celebrities so I had to rent. Although I have wide shoulders the dress was still flattering. Also the dress cut and fabric makes it very unique. I will rent this again for a special occasion.

This dress is very beautiful. It is fun and the double sleeve on one side and Bardot on the other give it a very fashion forward and unusual look. This dress runs true to size but there is not much room in the bust area so if you are on the chesty side I wouldn't recommend this dress.

i'm typically a 4, but self portrait runs small, esp at the waist so i got a 6 and it just fit my large waist. plenty of room around the hips and fit my chest perfectly without a bra. no bra needed. hit a few inches above the knee. wonderful party dress, not too revealing at all, but a ton of fun. love the pockets! you cannot move your arms so don't wear this dancing. also, don't bother using the side zipper, just use the buttons on the front of the dress. SO much easier to get on!! this dress is amazing. don't hesitate to rent

Well made beautiful dress just runs small. Its made for someone who is slender and thin. I very curvy, tall and with big chested, just didn't work for me.

Such a unique look to this dress by Self-portrait! It runs small, so size up! It is fitted through the midsection, which is generally normal for lace dresses, however there is no stretch in the sleeve/shoulder area either. For someone with a bigger bust and broader shoulders like myself, would go up a size or two. Other than that, the dress looked beautiful and could be paired with simple black heels.

This dress is stunning - great quality & super unique. But, I should have paid closer to attention to reviews about it running small. I'm a true 4 and I could barely get this zipped halfway.

This dress got me a lot of complements and was very unique. I ordered a size 2 and a 4, my normal size is a 0-2. I ended up wearing the 4 because the 2 came with a missing button. The body of the dress fit good with a small amount of room but the shoulders were big and I ended up having to wear the off shoulder strap up on my shoulder.

Way too tight to zip up or get my arms in the sleeves

Adorable dress but i returned it because it was a little too big on the sleeve that sweeps off the shoulder. I'm 4'11" and 95 pounds and have pretty small frame.

Great for short girls, but the waist is super tiny. Beautiful material and design.

Runs small, definitely size up!
