I got this to wear to a formal wedding and it was beautiful! It's UK sizing so I got the 8R thinking it'd be a US 8 but it was actually a US 4, luckily it fit like a glove! Very supportive and tight enough that I didn't have to wear a bra.

Liked the dress, but I ended up wearing with a turtle neck sweater because I didn't like the neckline.

But gosh it is beautiful and romantic, and very feminine and flattering despite the extra fabric. I haven't felt so beautiful in a RTR dress ever! I got so many compliments. It was different, but not too different. Understated elegance. I wear a US 8, and this size was good

This dress is new to RTR and I LOVED it! Since there were not a lot of reviews or feedback I was a bit nervous and had a back up - but this dress was everything I hoped it would be an more! I felt fashionable and glamorous in this dress. I rented this for my sisters baby shower (I was the MC) and it really fit my personality. It's a once in a life time dress. It is a side zip, I am a 26 B1/2 or sometimes 36C and it was perfect, I like my dress a bit snug, so it was. I am 5 ft 4 in and it was floor length.

I love this blue dress by Self-Portrait! Running true to size with a little stretch, I recommend wearing your true size for your primary size and going up for your back up. This style is fitted throughout the midsection and loose at the hips. It works for A to C cup sizes. You are able to wear a standard bra with this style. At 5’3”, the length hit ankle on me. The dress is amazing in person. Pair with black heels to complete your outfit!

Fit well but definitely a lot of fabric, overall very happy with it! Ended up wearing it with a bandeau because of the low cut. The open back was also challenging with the need for a bralette.

The dress was a big hit. It was a little longer than I expected (expected mid calf/upper ankle length). The details in the front made me look/feel a bit wider than typical but not to the point I felt self conscious. The sleeves were a little more puffy than the pictures suggest, and created a weird gap by my underarms/deltoids.

It was a little long on me and the button did break from the back but once I was able to correct for these I really loved the dress. I just wore this to work on my birthday and loved it! The color of we great and the material flowed nicely. Good for weddings or dinner parties etc

The dress is gorgeous but there's a lot going on for a petite person. The back is open but I think you could extend your bra straps you might be able to wear a regular bra. I wanted to wear this for a Great Gatsby Gala but it's just too long and I kind of feel like the Mother or the Bride. Try this is you are taller than me.

I wanted to love this, but it's a prairie look. Weird doily on my stomach too. I love the sleeves and back -- if the tummy thing was taken off it would be a five star dress!

Not flattering in my opinion. The detail in the front kind of sticks out and I thought it made me look pregnant! Lol! Pretty print and lovely flowy fabric. Just not my cup of tea.

Wore to a daytime wedding at a bar. It was super casual in Austin, and this felt funky and fun, yet still wedding appropriate. Nice color and shapes. Very well made! Would rent again for a similar affair.

A cute dress but the ruffle detail over the abdomen is a complete dealbreaker.

The dress is lovely, appropriate for formal events. I rented for a wedding. I didn't end up wearing it because the tip did absolutely nothing for me (34 B). I definitely needed to go down a size, but I still think it's best for women with more cleavage or who are more modest.

Longer than it appears in the photos, very disappointing. Did not wear.

I'm a big fan of a peasant dress and like things that accentuate hips but this could not have been less flattering... maybe if it had fit tighter it would have been better, but as it was just added about 20lb onto my lower half. Did not wear it

Didn't end up wearing it because it ran large and it was too big on me around the waist. Great dress though and I would consider renting it in a better size.

I did not end up wearing this dress, it was such a fun and cool dress but I am hourglass shaped and it made my hips look So big with the front apron detail. I wanted to make it work but just didnt!

I normally wear an XS or 0-2 in dresses off RTR, but I sized up based on fit details and feedback from other users. Fit perfectly! Con: can't wear with a bra, as it has an open back.

It was larger and longer than expected.

This dress is stunning in person! The color and the detail are amazing. I even liked the fit at the top, but it was a maxi dress on my small frame, and the with the way the bottom of the dress flares out, it was unflattering at that length on me.

Gorgeous dress with stunning drape. It is open in the back, and the button at the top popped in the middle of my presentation. So I was a bit worried about a massive wardrobe fail. It's also very long.

Open back can't wear a bra. Shorts girls kinda like a mix dress. Usually a six but a four in self portrait since the bust is usually narrow

This dress kind of wears you. It is beautiful but there is a ton of design elements competing with one another. Shoulder ruching, a peplum in the front, dramatic pleated skirt, an open back. AND pockets! I am of medium height and this was nearly floor length on me. It is a showstopper and I was bombarded with compliments on it but I think it's a one and out for me. The British sizing here was not as unforgiving as with some (Temperley, Saloni). The US size 4 equivalent was even a little generous on me.

I didn't end up wear this. The sleeves are retro in a great way and love the back. There's an extra piece of fabric at the hips, which adds some curvy-ness to your figure. That could be a good or bad thing for you. For me, it was the length that made it a no go (which was almost maxi since I'm 5'1).

The dress was beautiful but for ladies with larger hips I would steer clear. I looked a bit like a fancy mrs teapot. The detail hit my hips in a weird way but BEAUTIFUL fabric

This dress fit great but there was too much layered fabric in the shoulders and by the hips that made it a bit unflattering

I didn't wear it because the design at the front waist gives you a bell effects, not flattering.

The only thing I like about this dress was the color combination! Besides that this dress just sat on me and didn't flatter at all-- felt frumpy. Maybe a size down might have shown some curves.

As usual with self portrait, size up. But this one made me look like I had huge hips and I'm pretty straight and narrow in that area. The ruffle detail along with the angled lines caused this. Didn't end up wearing it because of that. Unflattering fit, which is a bummer because the print is gorgeous and the dress itself is beautifully made.

I didn't wear the dress, as others have said the front ruffle adds a lot of heft and all the details add up to be a bit much. I normally wear a size 6 (5' 7", 150 lbs, thin but curvy shape) and this was loose on me (6 US, 10 UK), which, given the ruffle around the stomach does not work, needs to fit tight. I would love it if they left off the ruffle! I't s a beautiful color and fabric.
