I loved this dress and felt like it looked even better in person! I read the other reviews and sized up one size, but I wish I had sized up one more size. For reference, I usually wear a size 0 but my waist is on the larger side at almost 26". This dress was very tight around the waist. As others said it is also impossible to raise your arms beyond a certain point so it may not be the right rental for dancing, but it is great for a date night!

Loved it! Probably keeping it! The material does not have any stretch therefore I would suggest to size up at the waist (I did). The straps are too loose and keep falling and have no scratch therefore create constraint situation but still worth it...

Loved this dress! Sized up based on reviews. Needed to move the dress to the side, and do the hook & eye first in order to get it zipped up. Was able to easily move it back into place, and put my arms through the sleeves. Fit nicely, even though one of the straps was a touch loose. It's snug in the chest, but I decided to wear a strapless bra. Material was comfortable for a summer wedding, and dancing. I felt great in this dress, and received many compliments. Another RTR success!

The material was great. Super cute dress but not near enough room in the chest area. I am a 34dd and it smushed me. I still wore it but it was slightly uncomfortable. Also wore booty shorts underneath because it was a little too short in the back

The dress is so pretty, I wore the size 4 for about 20 mins. I noticed how it could be tight but it was fine. But then when I started talking I realized the band around the waist has no give so I could barely breathe. Unfortunately I had to change. Might be better a size up?

This dress does NOT stretch, so I had a hard time zipping the bust up! It was so worth it because I felt amazing wearing it. The dress is so flattering and I got away with no bra - a total bonus!

Couldn't have asked for a more perfect dress for our visit to the Inn at Little Washington. Usually wear a 2, but do have a wider ribcage, and wore a 4 in this based on review noting it ran slightly small. Needed help on the last little zip up, so was still snug, but comfortable. So many compliments and perfect for a special event in Spring/Summer.

Super cute dress. It may be kind of tight on the shoulder area if you plan on reaching your arms above shoulder height. It likely won't be an issue for most though. I only noticed it when I was trying to unzip the dress myself and when I was reaching in the backseat of my car. There was a slight tear on one of the straps along the neckline, yet I wore it anyway as it was hardly noticeable.

I loved wearing this dress to a wedding. While it did run small, I still wore my normal size. It was a tad tight in the waist but I think going up a size would've been too loose. I received many compliments and I'll definitely be keeping in my favorites.

This wasn't the original dress I ordered, it got caught up and would not arrive on time, thanks to incredible customer service, I was able to go to the RTR store in Chicago and pick out a different dress at no cost. I found this different, fun dress and I could not have been more happy! It was so comfortable, it fit really well! I wore a strapless bra but really could have gone without. The structured lace provided the right amount of coverage. It was just a little hard to lift up my arms with the cold shoulder design but overall it was great! I received so many compliments as it is not your typical style for a wedding but not so crazy that it took any attention from the bride (very important)! I'd recommend it for any occasion!

I wore this dress for my best fiends engagement party. It was the perfect combo of family friendly and ready to go out in for the evening. So comfortable and didn't need to wear a bra either. Great dress!

It fits true to size, not constricting unless you try to raise your arms too high, but that wasnt really an issue. The arm straps move pretty easily if you need to reach for something. The only con about this dress that I found was the zipper. That thing is TOUGH. I had to get my husbands help to zip it all the way. Overall, very nice dress!

The layers made it possible to not wear a bra and that part was snug so it worked well. Very flattering and different!

This dress is really fun and I loved the straps! The ruffle is big enough that it's basically another layer, but it is still flattering since the waist is fitted right below it. I personally don't love the way it looked on my chest because it flared out instead of laying flat due to my large bust. However, I thought the length and fit were perfect for a variety of different events.

This dress was really pretty (I wore it to a rehearsal dinner), but as other reviewers had shared it runs really small. I am usually a 2 or 4 in a dress and I wore the 6 in this one- the straps were a little large (I am also short at 5'1) but I couldn't have worn it any smaller in the waist. If you order with the sizing in mind, it's a great dress and comfortable.

Ton of compliments. Zipper was a little tough to get all the way up. Normally I'm a size 2 and the 4 was pretty snug. The sleeves make it impossible to lift your arms up unless you move them up to your shoulders. 4 stars because it was a very casual wedding so there wasn't dancing and it looked great.

I'm 5'6 and 115 pounds (small chested) and typically always fit into a size 2. Despite reading the other reviews about the tiny waist, I still thought I would have no issues but I was wrong. I had to put this dress on backwards to get the zipper up - the embroidered waist ban is definitely too tight. I would size up next time I rent this brand. Other than that, I got a lot of compliments but decided to switch to another dress for dinner so I could enjoy my italian food.

Took 4 friends to zip me in & I am on the small side of XS! Crazy... but overall was comfortable once it finally zipped. No bra needed. The lace on the top was a little uncomfortable though after a while because i sunburned my shoulders.

This dress is pretty true to size. I teeter between a 6 and a 8. The 8 fit perfect, except the straps may have been slightly too big. The dress is unique, and had fun layers without being too much. No bra needed at all, and I felt fully supported. With the layers and eyelets no need to sucking in the tummy. Could move, dance, take pictures, pose, etc. Wore it to my husband's 40th birthday party, with a block heel, big earrings and bright lipstick. Navy in color that looks navy, not black at all.

I would say this runs a little small compared to other size 4's and the dress that I received - the zipper was next to impossible to zip up. It just wasn't smooth. The arms are super restricting too. Do not try and dance or lift them too high as it will just not happen. Fun dress though for one night!

Major con: I couldn't zip the back all the way up. I had to zip up to my waist and then do the hook but left it open. It runs VERY small and fabric has no stretch

I can be a 4-6 in dresses, so based on some other reviews I sized up. Should’ve stuck with a 6. The 8 left too much room in the waist and loses the flattering silhouette. It is pretty though, and I would like it a lot if it fit my waist better!

My husband hated this but I thought it was fun. I like the interesting neckline. Very short and waist runs a bit small.

Order the next size up. Really liked it. I will be ordering the next size up as well. Great for weekend brunch or shopping with the girls. Works well on petites too.
