I am 5'10, 210lbs - size xl was plenty big enough and effective at smoothing out hips and thighs.

No matter how great a figure, spanx make everyone look a little better!!! I just feel more confident wearing them!

I would say these run a little large. On my wedding day, I was about 120lbs, 5'4, and so I got the small (kind of in between sizes) and they really weren't "Spanx tight". I got them more to "smooth things out" rather than suck it in, so for me, they were perfect. And surprisingly comfortable. Wore them the entire day/night and barely noticed them!

Never wore spanx before, but I wore a fitted gown to an event and would never go without it again!

This is a MUST. I have never had spanx before and now I'll never go without it again! My stomach always protrudes after I eat and this completely flattened everything! Fit me perfectly.

I'm relatively slim, but I still love my Spanx. Eliminates all lines, and provides some extra coverage if your dress is on the short side. Seriously, you need to own at least one pair of Spanx

I wear these under tons of short dresses. They're short enough that they don't peek out at all and they're really comfortable.

I wore this under a white dress that the fabric was lined, but still I wanted to look a bit smoother. It did the trick. Is really thin and unnoticeable. I really didn't need the compression, just to smooth, so I ordered a medium. For all purposes, it was fine, but the waist band rolled down and the legs rolled up while I was dancing. Maybe I will order a small and see how it goes next time. All in all, good.

I actually never received this item. I am writing the review on the customer service. After letting a stylist know online that the item wasn't in my box they immediately refunded me and I was so relieved. I will definitely continue to use RTR.

Tight fit.

I bought these (obviously) and they work pretty well, easier to get on that the other Spanx material. Wish they had a higher waste band but overall, they're alright. Give them a B.

A must have for dresses; just sucks everything in and makes you look so much more sleek and slim.

Probably the best pair I own! Fits like a glove and doesn't show, even when my dress is so tight I literally can't breathe.

Great shaping action, but the legs sometimes roll up.

Obviously this garment is meant to be tight, but I found that it ran a bit small. Did the job it was meant to and looked great... but was a bit uncomfortable to sit in
