Great for a little extra needed support in the stomach and thighs. I wore them under a tight fighting ball gown and I felt really comfortable and confident. They are tight but not constricting, well worth the money.

What I like about this is it goes above the waist, right under the bra line so it gives a great silhouette.

Virtually invisible and lasts through dozens of washes! Perfect for disguising my apple belly.

This is not too tight but definitely smooths and stays in place well.

Comfortable, not binding waist nor leg opening, and wow - this knocks off 5-10 pounds without any effort. It definitely adds warmth to what you're wearing, so if you'll be in 85 degree weather in the sun, you may want to rethink if SPANX are worth it. For someone who has had 2 children and never quite lost the baby weight, this may become a staple in my wardrobe.

Really long in the thigh, I actually had to cut the legs off so they wouldn't show with my dress, being on the shorter side. That being said, they still got the job done.

Even if you only have a little bit to tuck in, this thing works wonder. However it is a b**** to put on!

This is definitely worth the money! It worked great under my dress. It smoothed out my "mommy" belly. The only thing that could have made it better was an option to add some butt enhancements.

I firmly believe in quality undergarments in order to wear a dress well. No matter how great your body, I think the dress can look even greater when it's smooth underneath. Even Hollywood does it!!! The only negative thing I can say is that it wasn't maximum control, which is my preference, but this was not a wedding or formal affair, so it worked well.

though this is no corset, it does allow you to feel a lot better about putting something a bit slinkier on than you should. it's that extra something that makes you feel better about your midsection and ready to take on the night's events.

I wore this under my dress prior to going to the event and it smoothed out all the "lumpy bits" that a form-fitting satin dress exemplified. However, I tested the "going to the bathroom ability" and unfortunately it was IMPOSSIBLE TO PEE IN. I know I wasn't wearing it backwards, but I don't feel like a little flap is enough to let me use the bathroom sufficiently. I will be keeping it obviously, but will have to figure out a way to go to the bathroom hahaha. 4 stars because it works like its supposed to (flatten/ tighten, boost). Would've given it 5 stars had the crotch gusset been designed better.

These are supposed to be heavy duty, and I did not feel that they were. I ordered them in size B (at the very top for my height / weight) and still they did not flatten my belly as I had hoped. I also did not struggle to put these on... However, they did make everything nice and smooth and put together. They stayed put and did not roll at all. I felt that these were really hot and I didn't even attempt to use the gusset when going to the washroom - that thing feels like a recipe for disaster. Overall, it worked OK, but no miracle!

Has a pretty prominent seam down the front middle, so not great for a tight dress because the seam will show through :-/

These Spanx were extra tight through the thighs but I felt like the tummy control was not there. I was mainly worried about holding everything in after eating a three course dinner and this pair did a good job but not a GREAT job. I still felt beautiful but if you're looking for extra strong tummy control you might want to go with another pair.

These really only work for long gowns. I'm 5"4' with long legs. and these came down almost to my knees, so they could be seen with any short dress. The tummy tuck part is nice though.

Didn't make the difference I was hoping for. My body looked exactly the same, nothing was sucked in or curved out better.

I forgot that my dress was sheer and low-cut in the back and so I couldn't wear these spanx all the way the up as I wanted to.

Disappointed. Thought it would work better. I did recently have a baby maybe I was expecting a miracle. It did stay in place all night just not enough support.
