Common flaw with these type of earrings is putting the earring needle in the center of the earring causing it to droop downward. Too bad. These are beautiful and would have been cute if they just placed the needle closer to the top.

i couldn't wear these because they were so front-heavy, they wouldn't stay in my ear

Loved the look of these but they are so heavy that they don't sit flat on ears. They hang forward. With the right backings (big ones) they may work, but I didn't have a set that fit. I still wore them, but wished they sat a bit differently.
