The perfect chic Halloween dress. Fit like a glove but not too tight at all - enough room to walk around for trick or treating. Also a nice medium weight fabric for chill fall weather.

The crushed velvet lends a pretty sheen, the waist cinches in the center and it has GREAT stretch, shoulder pads were a choice, but it's perfect for a funeral

This dress was a last minute sub for a different dress but this was such a happy accident. The ruching added a cool element to the dress & it made me look taller & slim ! So many compliments & I felt sooo good it in . No shapewear necessary

It wasn’t my favorite look due to the ruching on the hips/sides, but it was very forgiving and felt very elegant. It didn’t wrinkle and was super soft and very effortless and comfortable to wear. I got the large and xl and ended up wearing the xl as I have larger hips and didn’t want it to be to clingy. I wasn’t in love with it, but I did get a lot of compliments on the dress.

This dress fit like a dream. I have a curved figure and it made me feel so snatched with the ruching.

Wore this for work and was a bit worried that the crushed velvet would be out-of-place, but I got so many compliments. Was easy to "dress down" with combat boots funky jewelry. Was very very comfortable and the gathering at the front hid 'large lunch belly' :)

The velvet reflects light more than the usual dark velvet so it gives the black color a little sparkle in a fun way. Runs beneath the calves, warm enough for fall with a coat on top

The size L was the only available and you could tell it was big from the back bc the zipper stuck out but I was comfortable bc of the ruching holding the dress in places. I had a jacket on anyway. Very pretty dress. Stretchy and soft!
