I liked it and got compliments but the seam running around the dress is a bit odd. Otherwise love! Very good quality thick material

I can't tell if I liked this or not. It was tight across the arms, chest, and shoulders because of the diagonal seam. It was very flattering, but slightly uncomfortable because of the pulling, not enough to make me not wear it though.

I rented this for a cocktail party and when it arrived realized it was better suited for a Witch Costume. Maybe on someone taller it would work better, but on me (petite) it didn't work. That being said, I threw on a witches hat and it was the PERFECT halloween costume. Got compliments all night.

Worn to a funeral and it was classy elegant and perfect, would also be a great wedding guest dress

I wore this for my grandfather’s funeral. I ordered the small and medium, ended up wearing medium. It was definitely big but felt so comfortable. Ended up belting it, and wearing heels. I’m 5’9” and the skit hit perfect mid thigh on one side. Felt classic and covered for a Catholic Mass.

the seam going across the dress is super awkward

I loved it more than my husband did, so I ended up going with a different gown for a formal dinner. It hugged my frame (5’3”, 33x27x35) without being too tight. It will definitely require the right jewelry and hair not to look a little “witchy” but I’m sure I could have made that work!

It didn't fit very well on my athletic frame (flat stomach but booty). It puffed out in the back because the seam cut across in an odd way. That said, the fabric was beautiful and I'm sure it would work with those that have a more narrow figure.

This was the perfect Black Dress to make you feel elegant and classic. Would definitely rent this one again.

interesting pattern and different enough from a regular slip dress. sleeve length was also really nice. however the bias seam that goes around the body was against the grain of the fabric so the seam was constantly pulling and twisting against itself. I found the twisting to be quite distracting and uncomfortable, but otherwise would have recommended as the rest of the dress was lovely and comfortable for a work event - interesting and pretty but not too 'out there'.

The dress isn’t actually too small, it fits me. The problem for me is that the asymmetrical seams make the dress feel like it’s twisted on me. I have sensory sensitivities so it was a “no” nor me. If this doesn’t bother you, it is quite pretty

I really wanted to like it, but the fit was all wrong. Felt like a witch and not in a chic way. The sleeves were very long on me in both the M and S sizes, which added to the witchy vibe. It was neither fitted nor loose, but an unflattering in-between that just looked wrong. Overall a bad look, I couldn’t bring myself to wear it.

The fit is very tight in areas around the hips and the bust and because the seam runs through the middle, the fit is even more awkward .

This was wayyyyy to small.

I ordered both small and extra small and they both fit weird and made a bulge of fabric right at the waist.

Was hoping for a simple black dress for a gala. This dress was a little too small and had random seams that gave it an odd shape. The fabric was a little too thick for the time of year (late spring) as well.
