Sized up. It was nice for a holiday night out

Everyone kept complimenting me on my dress at the wedding! This dress is very high quality and is a great dress for a wedding! It was a little tight on the chest and a little bit heavy. Besides those two things the dress was perfect for a winter wedding!

Great dress for a Christmas party. Only thing I didn't like about it was how the back didn't lay down correctly because my torso is so short. Ended up not bothering me because I couldn't actually see it.

I am in love with this style by Saylor! I'm not sure if I love the front or open-back more! It runs true to size, and I would recommend sizing up for backup. It's a fitted style, but the material does have some stretch to it. There's comfortable room throughout the midsection and hips. It's also great for any cup size- I would recommend using a Nubra or no bra. The perfect style for the holiday celebrations coming up!

Dress is fun and festive and has a great fit. I'm 5'4" 145 pounds and apple shaped. The length for the dress and sleeves was great. The back is very cool, but it gaped a bit - probably because I'm fairly short waisted. Would totally recommend this dress - I received tons of compliments on it!

I am usually between a S and M and the M fit perfectly (I have larger shoulders / back from lifting weights). Not much stretch at all so would size up if you're on the fence.

Loved this dress. It was great for dancing and fairly comfortable. I got lots of compliments on the cut out on the back. The dress was slightly short when I raised my arms up and the neck button once popped open too. Otherwise, it was great!

This dress is absolutely stunning. It was perfect for my anniversary dinner! The material is so high quality and the lace is actually very comfortable. I am obsessed with the back! The only thing is that is runs very large. I am normally a 4/6 and I got the S but I could have used the XS. I would definitely rent this again.

Love this red lace dress. The open back adds a bit sexy feel. Just sad that the fit was a bit too big.

I rented a medium, but I think the small would have been better. It looked fine, but the back is open and the opening juts out. It didn't lay flat on my back. The material is beautiful and the color really stands out in pictures.

I wanted to love this dress, however, I'm between a 2 & 4 but this dress in a size small was still big. The biggest part of me is my waist, which is where the dress is the tightest. I'm guessing this dress is just stretched out. The color doesn't appear to be over worn though.

This dress is pretty, but the arms are very uncomfortable. There is zero stretch, so the material in the arms is very stiff. You can’t lift your arms comfortably. The lace in the back doesn’t lay down, so it just flops around. The dress also made me look much bigger than I am. It was not flattering at all.

The construction of the dress was really nice. I would have worn this dress had the dress fit well. It did run a bit large on the top.

I rented the dress for my boyfriend's 10-year high school reunion. It's a beautiful dress and I love the A-line shape. However, the flaps in the back do not stay down. I forgot to order fashion tape, so used double-sided tape. Every time I moved, the tape would come off, and my boyfriend was "patching" my back the whole night. The arms were far too tight (and I have tiny arms), the waist was too big, and the fabric was itchy. I feel that the dress is not properly constructed and not wearable.

I have muscular back and arms and needed to go up a size to make sure I could get the top button fastened.

It fit so well, except was so tight across the collarbones that the button snapped off when I shook someone's hand.

Love the dress… But, I had to use too much fashion tape. I was pulling out it all night to adjust.

The detail on this dress was beautiful and I wish I was able to wear it. The sleeves came to my knuckles, the length was longer than expected, and the back was too loose that it sort of flapped open. Maybe it's not meant for petite women, but a beautiful dress nonetheless!

Very cute dress. Unfortunately, there were other issues that were addressed with staff - who made it right. Back very loose. Looks cute from the front.

The Med fit was a 4 throughout the arms but a 6/8 is the waist making such a gap between that I couldn't wear it....material could get scratchy....dress was stunning for the right body type, I was disappointed I didn't get to wear it

This dress was not made for shorter people. The torso part on a small bunched up all over and the back didn't lay flat. I'm 5'3. I wish I was a few inches taller because it is a beautiful dress and the bottom half was amazing.

I tried to hold the back flat with fashion tape, but it kept coming off as I moved. I did not wear the dress. I'm 5'4", 125 lbs; the medium was too large. Maybe a small would have fit better.

Wow, this dress is stunning in person. The quality is incredible. But, sadly neither size worked for me. I have a pretty athletic build, and the arms were SO tight. The waist and everything else on the dress we're fine, but the arms/shoulders were terrible on me. If you have slender arms without much muscle, this dress would be fantastic on you!

I loved the dress and how it looked on me! But if you have sensitive skin like I do this dress is not for you. The sleeves are not lined and normally that doesn't bother me but this dress fabric was so rough and irritating it gave me a rashes on the inside of my arms, which has never happen to me before. The dress is beautiful and if you don't have sensitive skin I 100% would recommend this dress but if you do have sensitive skin then I would go with a smoother material.

This dress just didn't work - the arms were too tight. This is an area I generally don't have any issues with so I don't think this was well designed.

I absolutely loved this dress! It is so high quality with thick fabric, a beautiful red color, AND true to size. HOWEVER, the lace was so terribly itchy I just could not wear it. The second it touched my skin I found myself scratching like crazy. I do have sensitive skin but have worn other garments from Rent the Runway with no problem so I doubt it was any cleaning agent they used. So if you have sensitive skin this might not be the dress for you!

The dress fit really well, but the lace in the back kept sticking up and made me look like I had wings. I was going to wear this to a holiday party but because of the back, I chose not to.

I'm a huge fan of lace and was super excited about this dress, but I ended up severely disappointed. I tried on the XS & it gaped in the back. It also made me look very box-y and completely flat chested. The lace and color are beautiful, but it did not work for me. I had to return it without wearing it to my function. I think it might work better for someone with a larger chest.

If you don’t have stick figure arms, this isn’t going to work. Lifters/crossfitters this probably isn’t for you.
