Wore this cutie twice. Once to an Audrey Hepburn brunch benefit with black classic pumps and another time to a poker night benefit with boots that was cowboy themed. I was looking for something classic with a little way to show off some leg. This number was perfect.

Worn for a benefit concert in NYC! Fit perfectly, the slit was not too high, and overall I received a ton of compliments and felt lovely. Would rent again.

Wore to a work gala and everyone loved the polka dot detailing. I normally wear a small, but the xs fit perfectly and was still stretchy enough for a full dinner. Highly recommend!

I *loved* this dress. Sexy in an elegant way, and comfy enough to nap in. I rented it for a formal work event, but it was just a little too busty for me - not inappropriately so, just not the vibe I wanted. I liked it so much I bought a ticket to a symphony concert the next day just to have somewhere non-work to wear it. The fit was amazing - because it's stretchy, the dress clings along the bustline with no gaping, and made me feel so svelte around the hips. The velvet isn't super heavy or warm, but it's plush and feels nice to the touch. I'm 5'1 and it hit right at my ankle bone so I could wear it with flats. The sleeves could have been an inch shorter, but they're fitted so the length looked just fine. Go for it! I took a chance on this style and I was amazed how good I felt in it.

Perfect for the work holiday party. I had to wear a demi-cup bra with wide-set straps to hide them, and I couldn't wear shapewear because I have the kind that extends down the thigh, and they peeped out of the slit. Other than that, great dress. It's form-fitting and has the deep slit, but the long sleeves and length make it more conservative.

This is not me! It’s my daughter who is 5’9” with a slim build. She tried the small and medium and chose the small. She wore it to a cocktail/fundraiser field her job. According to her it was very comfortable, stretchy and she received a lot of compliments.

The XS fit really well! It has a slight stretch. The tea length worked for me since I didn't wear heels with this one.

I ordered medium and large but the large fit comfortably. I received ao many compliments in this dress - it was beautiful but easy to wear and kept me warm. I was able to wear a regular bra, which was a plus.

This dress was not your average black dress! It stood out and was so classy but sexy! It has a beautiful neck line and leg slit. I received soooo many compliments. On top of that it was incredibly comfortable and stretchy. The only thing was with the bra I wanted to wear I did need fashion tape. 10/10 recommend!

Gorgeous dress for a formal affair. Not as thick as I expected but that was okay with me. A little big on top if you're small-chested, but works perfectly with a sticky bra. Got a ton of compliments!!

True to size fit, hugs the perfect amount but not too much. I would have normally ordered a size XS (wasn’t available) but was very happy with the S. A little give to it too. The dots feel like the equivalence of tiny puffy paint dots and do not give off a shine like some of the reviews state, but do add great texture. The dress came down to about an inch above my ankles without heels. You cannot see the slit in this picture angle but it is higher — came up to just about or right below mid thigh… I did have to adjust when first sitting down. The square neck is wide - I used (for personal comfort) a couple pieces of fashion tape to minimize any gaps but it wouldn’t be necessary if you don’t mind. I wore this for a formal (black tie or cocktail attire) winter wedding and felt great. No issues with sleeves feeling tight and I do have more petite + athletic build overall. I do recommend!

Had this dress shipped as a backup and am so happy with it. Perfect stretch to it but also hugged all my curves perfectly.

I never wore it, but I think it looks really nice. I am just doing too much work/family stuff and need a date night to wear this out. Bra underneath needs to be demi-cut, not full coverage, with wide-set straps.

Been doing RTR for many years and this is my ALL TIME FAVORITE rental. The cut is so flattering, the material is soft and slinky, the slit is at the perfect spot. I wore nothing underneath because the fit is incredible and the material was juuust thick enough to be braless. Many, many compliments. Wore it for a work holiday party and it’s the perfect combo of covered up yet HOT.

This dress was perfect for a winter wedding. Would also be great for a Christmas party. I ordered Medium and Small and went with the small- I’m usually a 4 or 6. I’m also short so this is great for petites. I did use some double sided fabric tape to secure my bra out of sight.

I received so many compliments on this dress. I am normally between a 4 and a 6 and this dress in size Small fit absolutely perfectly. It is stretchy to the extent that you can eat and drink a few drinks and not feel like your bloat is showing, but very form fitting and forgiving in all the right areas. I have a smaller top of my body as opposed to the lower half so it wasn’t too big in the chest area to my surprise. Smaller chests you won’t have to worry about a bra with this! This came down to my ankles without heels. The slit is also perfect for some leg but you don’t have to worry about sitting down. My first time using rent the runway and i will for sure use it again :)

I want to buy this dress—it is AMAZING. Fits perfectly, has beautiful little metallic details, and makes you feel so hot. It has a nice slot on the side to make dancing easy lol. I would rent this dress again for any winter wedding.

Super sexy without being too revealing. The slit is high but I never felt overly exposed. The neckline is unique and the dress is extremely flattering. The dress fits TTS. It’s best to go without a bra and high cut shape wear is helpful but not necessary. Would definitely recommend.

so cute, so flattering, so comfortable. i usually hang between a 0 and a 2, and the xs was perfect and very flattering. i danced most of the night and wasn't sweating like i do in other long sleeved dresses, and definitely didn't have to worry about it ripping like other stiffer fabrics! absolutely perfect for a winter wedding.

I normally wear S/M since I’m on the petite side. I was about 20 weeks pregnant and opted for a L. The dress fit perfectly with plenty of room to spare. Hit right at the ankle without heels on.

Stretchy, slimming dress! I was worried the slit would be too much/too high but it’s not. I would recommend a strapless bra with it given how wide the neck is, otherwise straps will likely show.

This dress was fantastic! It fit like a glove and I received so many nice compliments during and after the event. I am only 5 foot 2 so the dress was definitely longer on me than on the model but I prefer the way it fit me!

Wow, wow, wow! All the reviews were right in saying pictures can't do it justice! I didn't end up wearing this dress but I would rent it for a winter function! It clung to every curve and looked so beautiful. Do yourself a favor and rent it!
