I really loved this dress and felt so beautiful in it. It runs a bit large though, particularly in the shoulders and chest. I'm a size medium in Selkie and have a fair amount of their pieces now. This and the laundry line dresses are the only ones I've encountered that were too big in my typical size. I probably would have ended up buying this if it fit true to size.

I've been dying to try a selkie dress forever, and I was so pleased to see this one in stock in my size! I was scared it would hug my hips wrong but it ended up being so flattering AND comfortable! I wore it to a monthly salon-style party with a vintage-vibe dress code :)

Adore this dress, I felt so lovely and elegant. The length was just right with 3 inch heels, and the ties help cinch the waist. At 9 months, it’s been a challenge to find dressier gowns that fit right. Was so glad I gave this style a try. It was so comfortable and fun to wear to a summer wedding!

While selkie's know for its more big skirted and over the top dresses, I simply adored this more simple slip dress. I actually wore it backwards as I liked the V in the front instead as I didn't find the cut of the front as flattering on my boobs. I sized up because I didn't want the hips sticking to me in the South Carolina heat, and I definitely could have gone with the S as the straps and chest area was a bit big on me. But Being able to cinch your waist in and make a silhouette really is the magic in this dress that makes it so lovable to wear. The material is light and so soft, but I will warn it is a bit thin so I recommend only wearing nude undergarments with it. 10/10 would wear this for any summery occasion, date night, girls drip.

They didn't make these for me in the late 90s. Feels so good wearing a style I coveted back then! I wore it working from home then out to get my hair done. This one was fully for me. (The straps did slip a bit but since I was going for casual whimsy I was ok with it. Would use something to stick em down if going out)

Romantic flowy dress of my dreams. So comfortable, it feels like you’re wearing pajamas. Only down side is undergarments are visible.

I wanted a looser look so went a size up because I was afraid of wrinkling. Did not happen because of extra fabric but straps were a little looser because of my poor decision. The dress seems like it can be worn front (square neck) or backwards (V neck). That had confused me in other people’s pictures. The tie strings do give a waist. Great summer vibes.

Wore to high tea, and date night. Very comfortable and so cute.

This was a beautiful, simple dress that I ended wearing for my elopement! I’m 5”8, 130lbs and the XS was perfect in length and fit. Looked great in photos, not see through but still super light weight

This was a little big on my bust area - I might size down next time I rent it. There is a tie back closure that helps if you want it to fit loose or if you want to tighten to give more of an hourglass shape. It was a little see-through because it wasn't lined so had to wear nude underwear/ no bra. Thought it was perfect for vacation or summer party.

I rented this dress specifically to take maternity photos at 28 weeks with the cherry blossoms in Chicago! It was stunning and perfect for those photos. But be warned I ordered my usual size and 1) it definitely accommodated the bump and 2) the bust area was a little large and it ended up fitting better when I turned the dress around and wore it as a v-neck. But I loved the v neck look and it worked really well! Maybe size down if you're not pregnant.

Loved the dress! Looks sooo elegant and pretty. The fabric is soft too. It was a little too long for me and I ended up wearing something else for a wedding, but this was my second choice 💛

I decided to add an olive green linen shirt over it for church. The fabric is so soft and luxurious. It took my husband a few minutes to adjust since it’s such a different look for me. Having lots of fun with my clothes lately. Bronze sandals worked well with this.

Very light, comfortable fabric. I used a strip of fabric to tie the straps behind my neck, otherwise the bodice would have sat below my bust. Might work for someone super blessed up top. Conceivably could wear it off the shoulders in that scenario. For me would be unwearable without modification.

I wanted to love this dress so much but the fit is just strange for a large bust & curvy figure.

SUCH a gorgeous slip. It was hard to tell but there are discreet pale blue stripes under the pink flowers. I got lots of compliments and it fit me so well.

It's an angelic dress. It's light and pretty. Recommend shapewear. Wasn't as sheer as other reviews said. Strapless bra is best so the straps aren't ruined by the bra vibe
