Loved this both as a tank and with a vest over and the straps pulled off the shoulder. Note -- a lot of the reviewers who didn't like the fit seem to have been wearing it upside down.

I wore this top so many times. With Jean shorts, linen pants, under a leather jacket. I don’t know which is the “right way” but I actually wore it upside down compared to the model in the listing. It definitely worked better for me that way.

The zipper's on the back and it was hard for me to zip and unzip but hopefully it was an issue with just the one I got, not all the items

Be prepared for people to tell you your shirt is untied. Very cute and easy to wear.

Super cute top with unique details - the straps were very adjustable and the stretch in the body makes the sizing pretty forgiving. Aside from the zipper being a bit difficult and initially trying it on upside down (I was bamboozled by the way I was tied when I received it) I really enjoyed wearing it and received compliments from strangers!

Received so many complements! Plus, you don’t even need to wear a bra which I’m all for. Rented for 2 months straight because I loved it so much

I am absolutely obsessed with this top and honestly devastated to return. Almost everyone in the reviews is wearing it incorrectly trying to find a more flattering fit, it’s a high fashion top so I recommend just going for it and embracing its quirky nature! I got endless compliments. TTS, I found the smocked top just structured enough to wear without a bra.

I love sandy liang and this top did not disappoint!!! A lot of people had it upside down and said it didn’t fit, mine came tied upside down but pay attention to the tag! Would buy if it wasn’t sandy liang price 🙃

This fit was so so much fun to rent and wear. Definitely make sure you are putting the top on the correct way (per previous reviews) because it is perfect (esp. with the pants). Super fun, trendy and comfy! Would rent again.

The corset like fit at the bottom of the top doesn’t look like that at all, and the bust is HUGE. Only rent if you have a large chest otherwise you will need to pin this (which is what I did in the pictures).

I wanted to like this shirt, but I think the disign is doing too much. I ordered my usual size, which was ok, but it is a slightly claustrophobic fit up top. If you have boobs, I’d size up at least once. The shoulder straps are also tricky to stay put on me, probably because I don’t have any boobs. Overall, I think my dislike of the shirt comes mostly from it just not being my style.

The definition of a cute top, I absolutely loved this one. Perfect for summer to fall transition. Would have purchased if not so expensive. Depending on how you wear it the zipper can get a bit itchy.

Loved this top. Might buy it. Was able to layer over a tee for work, and wear by itself to go out. Comfy and stylish! Be mindful of where the zipper/seams/tags are to figure out how to put it on. Refer to the pictures online! Others seemed to have trouble, but if you look at the images, it's not hard to figure out. Definitely recommend!

Despite definitely not being quite right due to my bust, the adjustable straps made it more versatile so I did find myself wearing and styling it even though it was snug. Pretty iconic top with the right pieces

As a big shouldered girl I really appreciated the ability to adjust the strap length, the details made it very funky flirty fresh, and the fabric and ruching allowed me to go bra-free. Paired well with wide leg jeans and converse or shorts and sandals.

Top is a statement piece but still layered so well. Wore it out with friends and so many fun ways to style it. A bit preppy, a bit edgy.

I love this top and it "JUST" fit me, barely skimming over my hips. It worked, but while wearing it, I wondered if I was between sizes. I wore it to an art opening at a museum and definitely felt like the cool artsy kid lol. I paired it with cropped denim flares, black Bally kitten heel slides and a big slouchy leather bag. I'll rent it again trying the next size up. Also note, that like lots of pieces, the zipper was super sticky and I struggled with it. (common with a hidden zipper, I feel)

When I first got this top,I thought it was cute but noted it looked a bit different from the picture, thinking nothing of it, I tried it on and was displeased to see that the top part was wayyyy to big (as noted in a lot of the reviews.) I threw it aside and called it a wash, but the. I went to leave a review and looked at the photo again, I realized the top had been tied and hung upside down when it was sent to me! Meaning the strings that hang down the legs were each tied as straps and the straps were left as the leg strings, making it fit terribly. Given the other reviews, I am assuming this is what happened to most people. When you wear it the right way, it’s super cute!
