This dress isn't for the modest. It's shirt and has a cute slit in the front to show extra leg. I wore it for my birthday and my husband said I looked fantastic and he's buying me the dress to keep. The high cut short sleeve top part of the dress keeps it from looking slutty, just the right level of risqué

I loved this dress! Nice cottony fabric with plenty of room. Perfect for a casual event but nice enough for work.

I receive a lot of compliments on this dress, but it was definitely HUGE. I covered that up with a black blazer.

This red color was amazing and I even got a compliment on the piping. I wore a six, but I probably should've got the four. Looked great regardless. I have rented it 3 times thus far, if it was less expensive, I would buy it.

Wore this to work, as i new i had to go straight to a date after a late meeting. Had to get comfortable being at work with a dress with a slit but get tons of compliments. Knit dress was a little stretched in odd places.

Tried it on and it was too short for the office. The length as more over the knee than the picture and the slit on the side made it unworkable. The material and fit were otherwise nice.

This dress is super comfy and a pretty red color. The material looked a little bit pilly. With the slit, it is so so short and I am only 5'3"! Tried it on the night before and asked my husband if it looked work-presentable with tights. He said "sure, looks good" (pretty sure now he didn't even look up when I asked). Next morning, running late as usual to get ready for work, glance in the mirror on my way out and yikes! Oh well- wore it anyway!

Beautiful dress, just the slit was too high for a conservative office environment

I usually wear a 12 in St. John. This was thin and short, no lining like they usually have.

I couldn't wear this dress because the material is very clingy and thin.

I own several St. John dresses and suits for work. It is my favorite brand. Unfortunately the thigh slit on this dress made it more appropriate for a party or date night than the C suite.

I'm 5'8" and the dress landed a few inches above my knee. The suit came up to mid thigh making it inappropriate for work.

This dress has a slit that's a little too high and the material was not work appropriate - cotton blend feel.

Slit in front and dress length made it way too skimpy and I am only 5"5'. Fits more like a petite.

The material seems a little Flemsey. Indeed need a 4 if not a 2.
