I rented this dress for my friend's wedding over Memorial Day weekend. I was supposed to receive it on Friday but ended up receiving it early Saturday morning, the day of the event. I was freaking out a bit because it was my first rental from RTR and didn't have a backup dress. However, once I received the box and tore it open, I tried on the size 8R and it fit perfectly and beautifully. The dress has a built-in corset that was not too tight. The length on me was slightly long. I am 5'5" and wore 4 inch heels and the dress dragged slightly in the back. I prefer too long than too short, so I was fine with this. This dress is great for women who, like me, are pear shaped. The skirt is lined but it is flowy enough to accommodate curvy hips like mine. I did not end up trying the 6R, the backup size I ordered because I was so relieved the 8R fit nicely. I would say this dress runs true to size, if not slightly large. I received many compliments on it. I was very impressed with how the dress came packaged and how easy it was to return. I can't wait for my next rental from RTR!

Besides having trouble with the zipper (needed my roommate to be there to help zip it up), the dress was great. I wore it to a wedding in September and got multiple complements on it. I also thought it photographs really well. Great for people who like tight fitting on the top then loser on the bottom.

Wore this dress to a formal summer wedding at a vineyard. Recommend ordering a size down from your usual size as the backup. I go between sizes 8, 10, and 12 depending on the dress, but the size 8 fit perfectly. I'm very tall (5'10) but wore flats to the wedding since we were on grass, and the regular length worked well. Would have wanted the long if I had chosen heels, however. Wore this with a regular strapless bra, which worked great. Overall, an amazing dress!

Just Long enough for me (wore flats) and I'm 5'10" Loved that I didn't have to pick it up or pull it up all night/it has built in support. The silver detail actually is a silver embroidered dot w a gold threaded center. So jewelry and shoes could be either or both!

Loved that it could go with gold or silver. Worn to an outdoor wedding. Paired with nude platform wedges and it was the perfect length. Got tons of compliments. Pic with friends who also did RTR. Loved all the gowns!

Such a beautiful dress and fit! It runs long, and since I'm just shy of 5' 5", I wore 6 in heels and was fine. Definitely recommend this dress for an outdoor wedding. Color was amazing!

This dress was perfect for my cousins black tie labor day weekend wedding. I tried a size up which made my chest look flat and a size below which obviously didn't fit. The dress was right above the ground and I was wearing 3 inch heels. It's very lightweight and comfortable. The only flaw was that my helpers had a hard time with the zipper but I was able to do it myself, must've been the angle. I highly recommend for anyone who knows this style will work for them.

This dress is amazing. It's a little long but I am 5'8" so it worked. I have a 34c bust, I probably could of worn a size up because of my bust but it would have been too large on my waist. It is comfortable and doesn't need to be pulled up all night. The color is stunning, a bright periwinkle with gold colored dots. The only problem is I want to wear it again!!!

It was too long even with 4 inch heels,however I used fashion tape (basically double stick tape) to make the length perfect!

The color was beautiful and it fit well. It was full around the waist which worked for me since that is my problem area. The length was fine with heels. It was lightweight and very comfortable. I received so many compliments!!

This dress was definitely a winner. I wore it for a formal wedding and got many compliments. It is very light so it is perfect for a summer event. It ran a bit large, so by the end of the night I had to pull it up and readjust a few times. I would get a 4 if I were to wear it again. Other than that, it was perfect!! Make sure you have heels to wear with it because it is long. The color and the metallic spots on the dress are beautiful!!

This dress is awesome. A good choice for a formal summer event. Lightweight for the heat, but still with all the glitz of a black tie dress. Fits really well. My bust is larger, but the bodice still fit. Everywhere else, I probably could've worn the small size, but the four fit well, especially with the inner corset hook at the waist. Length was spot on, I wore four inch heels. Danced the night away. Absolutely a winner.

I wore 4 inch heels which was the perfect height. The one con I would say is the zipper was a little cheap. It was very hard to zip.

I received SO many compliments from a variety of people. Loved this dress and my entire RTR experience. A few helpful points: -I'm 5'6" and did not wear heels. The Hollywood fashion tape through RTR was perfect to adjust the length. Without the tape, I probably could have worn 3"-4" heels and been fine. -The sparkles on the dress adjust well to gold or silver jewelry. I chose gold with diamond-y jewels, and the elegance of both the earrings and dress fit perfectly. As you can see from others' photos, You can totally adapt the accessories to your style. -I'm small chested, so I chose to wear a bra in addition to the frame of the dress. In my opinion, that can definitely go either way depending on your comfort.

Wore this dress for an outdoor wedding. The length was perfect and hue sparkle elevated it from any other maxi gown.

I was worried about the top fitting alright because I'm well endowed in the chest department, but this dress was a winner! No bra needed. Fit tight enough to hold everything in place but loose enough to where I could definitely still dance and have a great time. Do order down a size from what you usually wear. 4L was great for me (I'm 5'8 and wore 4 inch wedges and you could just barely see my toes when I walked). Fabric was light and airy. Top was gathered in and bottom was flowy. Very flattering if you're looking for a dress that skims away from your body a little past the waist. Would absolutely rent again!

I wore this dress to a June wedding and it was absolutely perfect. I normally wear a size 8-10, so I ordered a size 8 and a 6L as a backup because the reviews said the dress ran large. I ended up wearing the 6L because it allowed me to wear heels and the fit was better. I paired the dress with the Kate Spade Opening Night necklace and it was perfect. Got a ton of compliments and was comfortable all night!

I was so excited when this dress arrived, and it didn't disappoint. I wore it to a good friend's summer wedding and it was perfect. From the moment I got out of my vehicle at the venue, I had people stopping me to tell me how wonderful the dress looked. The RTR photo makes it look a little paler in shade than it actually is - this dress is a very rich shade of periwinkle and the metallic print makes it pop! I am 5'4 and the length was a tad long, but I also wore small heels for comfort. I am typically a 2-4, but went with ordering the 2 and a 0... very glad I did, because I ended up using the 0. I don't think the dress runs all that large, but the smaller size felt more secure being strapless. In fact, the only issue I had was with the dress riding down a little bit throughout the night. Some double-sided tape would have been a good idea for extra security. It was never going to ride down far, but I wore a strapless bra instead of going braless, and so it would occasionally show the tops of the cups if I didn't keep an eye on things. Overall, though, this really is a fabulous dress. You'll stand out without having to go crazy - it's unique and eye-catching in a classy way. If you're looking at this dress and keep coming back to it, do yourself a favor and just rent it. You will love it!

The fit was pretty true to size, bit tuna slightly large so definitely go a size down. It's also pretty long. I'm 5'4" and I wore about 4" wedges and it just draped the floor. It is light weight, so it was still comfortable for a Texas summer wedding. It also has a built in bra top so it stayed put all night. I received so many compliments and I felt beautiful!! Would definitely rent again!!

The dress fit true to size, but was long (as expected). Not being able to hem rental dresses is a disadvantage, but it was workable.

Size down, this runs large! And tall girls don't be afraid to rent, very generous length. Mine was grazing the floor with 4" heels on! So many compliments, great dress!

Dress fits true to size. I wore the 4R--I was a little nervous when ordering bc the back up sizes above and below the 4 were not available. Fortunately this dress worked out perfectly, and the color is fabulous! I wore this to a black tie wedding last weekend, and it was the perfect dress for the occasion.

I love this dress! I was nervous at first because the top didn't fit correctly, but there is an inside corset hook that takes care of the problem. The dress is easy to move and dance in. I got the 2R and the 4R, and wore the 2R. The dress definitely runs large and long. In person the dress is incredibly flattering and unique, and has a more vibrant color.

loved this dress, incredibly comfortable and elegant at the same time. got lots of compliments :) i'm 5'3 and wore a size 0, but the dress was about 2.5 inches too long even with 5 inch heels, so i had to pin it up.

I loved this dress so much! I rented the 6r and the 8r. I usually wear a 6 but I probably could've taken it down to a 4. I would say it runs true to size but a tad big. This dress fit and flowed perfectly! I am 5'5" and wore 5" heels and it just hit the floor, so yes it's a bit long keep that in mind! Overall everyone seriously loved this and so did I!!! Definitely worth the $70 out of my college girl budget, I wish I could've kept it!

I love this dress! I received compliments all night long! This was my first time renting, and originally this dress didn't have any reviews so I was nervous about the process. It ended up working out perfectly because the same dress in another color had reviews and per those recommendations I selected my original size 2 and a size 0 as my backup choice. I ended up going with the 0 because the top fit more snug so the dress wouldn't fall down from dancing. I loved that the dress had an inside corset with an extra elastic fastener inside the zipper to keep the dress up. The color is similar to how it looks online and it looked beautiful in the daylight! The dress was long, I am 5' 2 and wore 4 1/2 in heels and still had a little bit of the dress still on the ground, but I expected that to happen! Overall I couldn't have picked a better dress!

This dress definitely runs large! I am between a 4 and a 6 and the 6 was too big. Lovely color combo, perwinkle with a lurex sparkle dot. Will rent again!

The dress is a beautiful color with metallic accents for a unique look. It fit snugly at the top and a bit looser through the mid section. It was very comfortable for dancing through the night and I received a ton of compliments! Only minor flaw was at the top of the dress the fabric underneath was sort of folded over so it was showing when it shouldn't be. I was fidgeting with it all night but I am positive no one else noticed! Overall I had an excellent experience, will be renting again, and would definitely recommend this dress!

The periwinkle matched with neutral metallic dots was a gorgeous, luxurious mix and the length/flow of the gown made it breezy and dressy for a late summer wedding. The color of the dress is much brighter in person, and the length was just about perfect for walking on flat surfaces although I had to watch the back for dragging when walking outside (I'm 5'7.5" and wore 3" heels). I styled it with long gold earrings, a simple gold necklace and bangle with strappy gold heels. The only issue I had was that the corset inside the bust was a bit tight, and I had to be extra careful when the zipper would get stuck on the seams. Overall, I was SUPER pleased with my first RTW purchase, and would definitely recommend this dress as it got plenty of compliments! I felt like a showstopper :)

The dress is very pretty. DRAWBACKS: As with a lot of dresses of this material, the zipper stuck really bad on the waist and I had to have assistance putting it on. I couldn't wear a bra, because it made it a little too tight in the top, but the top provides enough support that you really don't need one, but it may be tough if your breasts are too big. The detailing on the top is pretty, but it doesn't look great in photos. Right above the waist line is a little puffy, which made me look a little fat in some photos. PROS: The fabric is nice and flowy. The color is beautiful, I got a ton of compliments. Purple seems to be the color of the season these days and a lot of women at the wedding were wearing purple. I wore wedges and it was the perfect length. I liked that it was comfortable to dance and eat in. Overall, it was a good pick!

This dress was a lifesaver. It was overnighted to my hotel and was a great fit! I probably would have ordered the 6 instead of the 8 because it was a little loose up top.

I cannot say enough good things about RTR!! I had several dresses that I wanted to order damaged by the previous user and RTR shipped me 2 additional styles to make up for it---amazing customer service!! The dress was fantastic! I went with the 6L because overall it looked better more fitted than the 8L, however it was a little snug in the chest. I'm 5'8" and definitely needed the extra length to wear heels. Would definitely rent again!

The dress was true to size. There was one small issue with the dress though, when I received it the wire in the back from the corset was poking through the fabric. It didn't bother me but you were able to see it at times. Other than that the dress was perfect.

I rented this dress for a black tie Florida wedding and it was the perfect color and weight. I rented a 2 and 0 based on reviews that the dress ran large, especially in the bust. I ended up wearing the 0 and that dress stayed put! My only "complaint" would be that the zippers on both dresses stuck at the waist so it took a little coaxing to get them zipped up! I'm also 5'5" and wore nearly 4in heels and the dress still grazed the floor so shorter ladies be careful! Overall another great rental!

The dress is incredibly beautiful in person! The periwinkle blue and the silver spots just make it pop and I received a ton of compliments on it throughout the entire night. My one complaint would be the zipper! I needed 2 people to zip it up, not because it didn't fit but because the fabric bunched together halfway up. Other than that, it was an awesome dress to wear! I ended up going down a size from my regular size 8 to a 6. The 8 fit, but was a little loose. The 6 fit like a glove and it looked better. The length is long, however, 4 1/2 inch heels fixed that problem :) When I took my shoes off later to dance I didn't mind lifting the gown.

I wore it to prom and it was really comfortable and good for dancing. The only problem was it ran rather large, like other people have said. If I had sized down it would have been absolutely perfect.
