The straps were really long, probably 2 inches too long and were falling off my shoulders. I actually ended up sewing the straps at the top of the shoulder with a few stitches so they fit and just removed the stitches before sending the dress back. Otherwise a great dress.

I'm normally directly between a 4 and 6 - glad I went with the 4. It's suppose to fit a little snug and it has a little give to it. the shoulder on mine were stretch out a little and they kept falling down. The color is perfect for a spring or summer wedding.

Wore this dress to a beach formal wedding and it looked great! Felt fabulous! Not super easy to dance in as it has no stretch, but a great fit and not too revealing, yet still attractive and feminine. Loved it!

I usually wear a 6 but also ordered an 8, just in case. The 8 turned out to be quite ambitious as it was too loose on me to bother with. I bring up the size 8 dress anyway because the edges of the lace on the straps was pretty tattered... to the point where even if it had fit, there's no way I would've worn it anyway. It looked really messy. The 6 I ended up wearing was beautiful. The zipper stuck in some spots, but not a big deal. It was a little loose in the straps & on my waist, but I have fuller hips/thighs, so I couldn't have gone down a size anyway. Regardless, I thought it looked great and got a few compliments! It hugged my curves without being restricting, so I could have some fun on the dance floor. The back is too low to wear a bra with, so I used those sticky ones that are just cups... Probably could've gone without a bra entirely with the built-in bodice, but because of the loose straps, I wanted to make sure I didn't have an incident if the straps slid off my shoulders! The length was perfect as well, not too short and not too long! The vibrant color was great for a spring/summer wedding. Sidenote - this was my first RTR experience so I had a few questions and the customer service was awesome at responding super quickly!

This dress fit great and I loved the lace details. It is a little more pink than the pictures show, but a beautiful color. I usually wore a size 4 and ended up wearing the 4 in this dress because that was the only size available. I could probably have sized down to the 2 if it was an option. Definitely go a size down as the backup size. The V in the back was just high enough that I was able to wear a strapless bra without the back strap showing. I wore this with the Nicole Miller Star Light Star Bright Necklace and it looked great!

Wore a backless bra, everything looked great, was a little tight sitting down,and some slippage of the straps. I have a very wide back and larger shoulders, but I was able to zip up the back by myself! Great color and my first time ordering.

This dress allowed me to strut through the room with confidence. It was a great pink spring/summer color and the lace added a touch of elegance. The straps have the potential to be big but I am big busted (36DD) so they laid perfect on me! The dress was comfortable and easy to wear.

The top of the dress runs a tiny bit big. When I tried it on at first, I almost didn't wear it. However, I then discovered there is a bathing suit top-like fastener in the back that made it a little tighter. The color is even more beautiful than what the pictures show. Try to find a bra with a similar color to the dress as the straps show a little bit. It's awesome, and I wish I owned it.

I rented this dress for my rehearsal dinner and was very happy with it. The color was gorgeous, and I received tons of compliments on the dress. The neckline wasn't too low for a formal occasion and the shape was flattering without being tight. It was comfortable all night and very easy to wear. It did fit slightly large but didn't look baggy or sloppy because of the high quality.

This dress is simple yet gorgeous and was perfect for a July wedding I'm Maine. The length was appropriate for hours of twirling and dancing and while the fabric didn't stretch, the fit was actually more forgiving than expected. Be warned that the color is definitely watermelon pink, (not red like it appears in the picture) but for me, that was what I wanted and expected (of course I also learn from the reviews!) rent this dress when you have a chance - you won't regret it!

I LOVED this dress... Wish I owned it :) I had a baby five months ago so I was a little nervous to rent (as I'm still in between sizes) but it proved to be a very flattering dress. Not too tight, not to loose... Very comfortable for a formal event. Definitely rent it!

Fit perfectly! There was a little stretch and it was longer/more conservative. I love the lace and it was absolutely perfect for Bingo in Sea Island. Will rent again!

LOVE this dress!! The color is absolutely fantastic - wore it to an outdoor wedding in August and this "watermelon" or "raspberry" color was definitely the color of the season (saw this color a lot at the Emmy's). I absolutely adored the way it fit - this was great for someone like me who's a little more curvy and has a large bust - I felt cute and sexy but didn't feel like I was flaunting anything (I'm not a fan of flaunting cleavage). The straps were a teensie bit loose, but it was only a minor issue while I was sitting - once I got up and started moving, the straps were fine. My favorite part was I could wear a normal bra with it since I have one that matched the color very well - even with the lacy straps, you couldn't really tell I was wearing a bra, so I loved that. As for size, I'm truly in-between sizes on this one - ended up wearing the 10 and it was just slightly too big, but the 8 was just barely too snug. Extremely flattering and it was so hard to pack it up to send back - I will definitely rent this again!

I LOVED this dress and received many compliments while wearing it. The color just has to be seen in person. It's a very bright watermelon pink. I thought the dress was very comfortable. The straps did fall down a little bit, but it really wasn't a problem. The back is pretty low. I wore a low back strapless bra with it, and it worked out great! Highly recommend this dress and pairing it with a turquoise necklace.

This dress was gorgeous and fit perfectly. I'm 5'7, so a lot of dresses run short on me, but this dress length was perfect and very appropriate for the event. I got so many compliments that night and after!

Just like all the other reviews mentioned, the straps are super big. I temporarily sewed them down for the evening, otherwise they would have fallen every time I moved. The color is very pretty and the length is nice, not too short not too long. There is a sort of built in 'bra' that hooks in the back that was a little tight, but it reminded me too stand up straight and keep it all sucked in. I think almost every female at the wedding complimented the dress! This is was my first rental and I'll definitely be back for more! Great experience.

I was worried it would be short, but it was not at all. The V was a bit lower in the back than I anticipated, so I couldn't wear a bra without seeing it. But this wasn't an issue because you couldn't tell. The inside has a corset and belt that fastens tight around the inner waist. The size 8 fit me perfectly, but after eating and drinking for hours, I wish I had worn the 10.

Dress fit true to size, I had to wear a backless bra with it due to the low, but it was so perfect!

I rented this dress for a black tie optional gala (husband wore a tuxedo) and LOVED IT! Strangers stopped us to say how great we looked and compliment this dress. The color is definitely a bright pink watermelon and we stood out in the crowd, but the lace and scalloped edges gave it a sophisticated, elegant look that earned even the MIL and SIL seal of approval. As other reviewers have mentioned, the dress runs large. I am normally a size 4 and would have preferred the 2, but it wasn't available. The 4 fit well enough, but I recommend sizing down as it was a bit big. The length was perfect, mid-to-lower thigh, not too short (as was the other Shoshanna dress I had ordered as back-up in case the 4 was too large to wear). For pairings I opted for statement earrings and a rhinestone bracelet. Paired it with silver jeweled flats (again, outdoor event and wedges were just too casual). I highly recommend this dress! Absolutely loved it!!!

This dress was beautiful!! If I had the money I would buy it in a heart beat!! It was a little more form fitting than I expected ... It was interest getting in and out of the car :) but so beautiful and I would rent it again in a heart beat!

I loved the fit but the back was a little low for my height and my bra kept poking out. A safety pin for sure would solve that problem and over all if was a great dress!

Runs large. Definitely get a smaller back up size. Just as other reviewers have said the straps are kind of big so fashion tape is a good idea. Other than that, really loved this dress.

The size 0 fit perfect other than the shoulder area was a bit loose, not enough to cause issues for me. It is very flattering on. Received so many compliments. I was concerned about the length as I am 5'2" but it was perfect. No bra necessary as it has built in support. Highly recommend!!

True to size, the dress was immaculate! Clean lines and a light sweater for the spring winds made for a head turning look even on a 60 year old!

I usually go between 2 and 4, but the 2 was perfect. The top is really comfy and I didn't need a bra. The length is definitely ok for a wedding/family occasion. I received a ton of compliments and I would definitely recommend!

I rented this dress for one of my bridal showers because it was almost the exact same color as my bridesmaids dresses and one of the main accent colors for my wedding. I loved the lace overlay and the fit was so flattering with the v-front and v-back neckline. The only thing that bothered me a little bit was that the straps were a little loose and would slip off of my shoulder occasionally, but it wasn't that big of a deal and I still completely adore this dress. I received so many compliments throughout the bridal shower too...I think I just got a whole bunch of people in Southern Louisiana addicted to RTR!

I received tons of compliments and the vibrant color made it even more of a stand-out. Also, the fit was just right so that it was flattering as well as comfortable for dancing around all night.

This is such a pretty dress. I rented the 0 and the 2, and wore the 0. I found it fit comfortably, and wasn't snug. The color is definitely more of a hotter pink than a watermelon (as shown in the picture, which, I APOLOGIZE for the selfie -- I'm not into them very much usually, but wanted to show off the color in this picture), and it hit about an inch or two above my knee. The only thing I wasn't crazy about with this dress is, although I am a little bit of a pencil figure, because of it's fit, it really just kind of "hung" off of me, and made me look like a straight pencil, it didn't give ANY curves at ALL. I wore the denim jacket with it though, which a) dressed it down a bit, and b) helped with the non-curve situation. But a really pretty dress!!!

This was a perfect dress for a recent spring wedding. The 6 fit well but ended up going with the 8 for a little more length. Lace detailing and color are gorgeous. Loved it!

The dress was true to size and comfortable. I dressed it up with gold heels and jewelry but it could also be worn with wedges to a more casual event. I definitely recommend renting it!

This dress is beautiful! The color is very bright, it's more of a hot pink then a watermelon color. It's gorgeous! The neckline is a bit high, but it's not uncomfortable. The back is sexy! It comes to a V and it's a little lower then most dresses. It has a built in bra that doesn't help- you can get away with wearing a nude color bra for extra support. I wore one and u can barely see it. The wiring in the bra area had to be adjusted, but u can shape it any way u want to be more comfortable. I am about 5'3 and the dress was right at my knees. I am usually an 8, but in Shoshanna dresses I always wear a 6.

Sorry about the quality of the photo! The dress is absolutely gorgeous. It looks red in the photo, but it is actually a true HOT PINK! Such a beautiful color.. I wore this to my fiance's med school ball and received so many compliments. The lace detail is so pretty, and the color is bright and cheery! My dress even had the original tag on it, so I got to be the first to wear it. Fit: I was really worried that the 0 and 2 would be too small for me. While my dress was in the mail, I frantically researched Shoshanna size charts and fit guides and convinced myself that the dress wasn't going to fit. I have a tiny waist and larger hips, so I was concerned the dress would be too tight on my hips. I was relieved to find that the 0 fit me perfectly in the hips! It was a little large in the top, but I'm only a 32B. I'm only 5'2" so was also worried it would be too long, but it hit me just in the right spot. Customer Service: I ordered the dress a week before I needed it, and it shipped early. I freaked out thinking my rental time would be shortened (it was my first rental!), but it wasn't at all. I called RTR, and she assured me my rental was due on the orignal due date. I highly recommend RTR! (:

This is my 3rd RTR experience. I wore this dress to a June wedding and it was a big hit! Like all of the other reviews said straps were definitely long which is why I gave it 4 stars. However, the fit was nice and the dress and its color were absolutely beautiful. I lengthened my bra straps so I was able to wear a regular bra with it even though I probably could have gone bra less. I highly recommend this dress as it photographs beautifully and will be renting another dress next month for another wedding. Went great with nude ankle strap heels like on the model.

I don't know if I just overestimated my actual size, but I started with the 6 and then chose a 4 as my back up. I ended up wearing the 4 and even that was a little loose around the middle/chest. There is a little strap in the back that you clip to make these areas a little tighter, but it still wasn't as form-fitting as I would have liked. The straps didn't bother me at all. Overall, in person I think it looked really cute and I LOVED the color!!! Got lots of compliments!

The color of this dress is beautiful, very bright in person. The 4 and the 6 both fit, the 6 had a little too much fabric in the bottom that was bunching and the straps kept falling down. The 4 fit well, just a little tighter in the chest area. Only reason i didn't give the dress 5 stars is because while dancing and sitting the straps on the 4 kept slipping down as well. Overall, i loved the dress, received many compliments. Will be using rent the runway again for many weddings this summer!
