Easy fit, could be worn with or without a strapless bra. Full skirt allows for less than flat stomachs to be hidden. The 6 was a little big so I simply safety pinned the top under my arms for a "custom" fit.

This dress may seem like just a regular black dress but the details made it a stand out.

OVERALL: One of my favorite dresses I've ever rented (which is saying something since I've been renting since 2011). Such a great twist on the LBD. Honestly a 5-star dress because there was nothing I would change about it. I even scoured the internet to try to BUY it because I loved it so much, but unfortunately it's sold out everywhere! FIT: I think this runs large because I'm usually a 4 but the 2 fit perfectly. Also great news - no bra needed because of the boning in the bodice (and I'm a 32DD so if I can pull it off sans bra, anyone can). The length was perhaps a little long for me but I'm short (5'2) and with heels I think it looked fine. Some people have mentioned the neck piece being tight, but I didn't notice anything. Very comfortable dress and the skirt is forgiving if you are drinking and eating a lot (which I was). STYLING: I wore gold Kate Spade chandelier earrings and red Jessica Simpson pumps with a red lip. Thought the colors were very holiday appropriate, but the great thing is that black goes with everything.

I was unsure of my size due to my growing pregnant belly, but it fit great! The dress was sassy and classy. Enjoyed wearing it the entire night, dancing and all!

While I usually wear a size 2 in dresses, there are times I can get away with a 0. With this dress I had to go with the 2. So if you are debating between sizes I would go up one. Super comfortable though! And the length was still great on me despite being 5' 2''.

The dress does fit true to size, I got a size 4 and it fit great. The pockets were really convenient as well. I got compliments all night, the dress looked amazing. At first I wasn't sold on the dress because i thought the bow would be too big sitting on top of my shoulder, but when I wore it, it was barely there.

There is simply nothing bad to say about this dress. The neck is beautiful and unique and comes with an easy button close fastener (no tying). The fabric is thick and practically un-wrinkle-able! Some other users said they were able to wear this without a bra and despite my hesitations that was true for me. There is also boning in the chest to prevent sagging on the sides. I rented the 4 and 6 and ended up wearing the 6 because it was more comfortable in my ribcage. You will not regret this rental!

loved this dress. It was veryy snug on the top so I could not wear a bra (putting partial blame on my boobs since they were twice the size due to the time of month..) I thought it would be shorter than it was, it hit about to my knees but again I blame my height being 5'2. But overall I received tons of compliments all night so it was totally worth it!

Black tie wedding in the city and I fell in love with this dress. Didn't want to wear a long dress (recommended) but this dress was equally as fancy. LOVED THE POCKETS! Made of thicker material. Hits right about the knee. Loved the neck tie part that simply buttons. BIG CON: There are wires that run up and down from bust to end of fitted part. When sitting down, they dig into your ribs. No problem standing though. Wish I could buy this.

I rented this dress for a wedding, I was a bridesmaid and we had to all wear black dresses. This dress has POCKETS! Which was amazing to be able to keep my phone and lipgloss with me at all time. Extremely comfortable and elegant, fits true to size. Would absolutely recommend this dress to anyone looking for the perfect LBD.

This dress was perfect for attending my friend's cotillion! The zipper is a bit tricky and there's no stretch in the fabric. A great fit and the neck detail and bow gives it flair!

This dress was extremely comfortable and it fit great! I ordered a 4 and got a 6 as a backup size. The 4 was perfect. The material is light and flowy - which was great for an event in Arizona. It's a very sophisticated and fun dress. It also has pockets! I fell in love with the dress so much that I think I'm going to see if I can buy it somewhere - it's the perfect LBD for any occasion!

My mom and I both rented dresses for the first time and loved them! Our experience was great! My dress fit great. I ordered a 10 and a 12 and ended up wearing the 12. I tend to fluctuate so I never know which size will be better for me. The tie around the neck actually has two buttons in the back and was a tad loose but nothing that would have prevented me from wearing the dress. I loved the way I felt in this dress and got SO many compliments. I cant wait for my next RTR experience.

This was my second time renting from RTR and I was again, totally satisfied. I wore this to the Director's Guild of American Awards and felt amazing. The dress was really comfortable and the fabric was a nice weight. From the pictures I thought it might feel inexpensive, but it was rich and laid nicely. I didn't need to wear a bra with the dress since the bodice was supportive enough, but you could wear a strapless bra if needed, just might need to pin it on the off-shoulder side so bra doesn't show under your arm.

It fit really well, the 4 fit good too, but was just a tad snug so I went with the 6 and there was more room in it, it was a little too big in the bust for me though. Also, it was a little longer than it is on the model, but I'm also short ;)

One of my favorite dresses I've rent so far! Everyone needs a LBD, but this one is so sophisticated. I received compliments all night. It was fun to accent it with a bright shoe. I ordered a 4 and a 6, but went with the 6. I typical wear a size 4, and I could have gotten away with it, but it was a bit snug in my armpits. Sized up for a little more comfort. Loved the pockets! Will definitely rent this dress again.

I wore this to the ballet. It was perfect for the occasion, feminine and sophisticated with the bow that drapes on the shoulder I loved it.

Loved this dress! I only gave it 4 stars because the zipper is AWFUL.. It literally took 5 minutes to zip and caught my skin when it finally went up. Once it was on though it was adorable!

I typically wear between a size 8 and 10. They were out of size 8 so I ordered a 10 and it was pretty big on me. Luckily, with the help of some double sided tape, I made it work. I loved that it isn't a tight dress and I felt comfortable not worrying about sucking in my tummy all night. Also, being 5'11", I loved that it wasn't super short! I would have given this 5 stars except that the boning is coming apart on the inside and they were out of my preferred size.

I wore this to a formal masquerade ball and it was perfect. The wire used for support was a little worn at the end, but otherwise the dress was beautiful!

The material for this dress is thick which was good because I didn't have to wear a bra with it. The 10 fit, which is my normal dress size, except it wouldn't zip past my bust. I wouldn't recommend this dress for girls with a large C chest or larger. All in all it was super comfortable and I felt good in it.

I love this designer and I've rented other dresses by this designer before. They always fit so great and are very flattering. The bow detail at the neck was perfect. I'm 5'8" and the length was just right. I had to give 4 stars instead of 5 because both sizes I ordered had small tears. I wore the 4 instead of the 6 only because that tear was less noticeable near the pocket seam. Another great rental and I'll probably stick with this designer again.

This dress was perfect for the wedding I went to. It was very comfortable and, surprisingly, the neck didn't bother me at all. Overall, I was really happy with the dress but the top was a little big. I normally wear a size 2, but I wish I had gotten a size 0 as my backup. Also, I am 5'1" and I think the dress was a little bit too long for my height. It hit right at my knees, I would have preferred at least an inch above my knees.

I rented this for a wedding that was black tie suggested. I wear a 4 and the 4 that I rented was true to size but I went with the 6 because I wanted a little wiggle room for eating purposes. One reviewer had wrote that she didn't have to wear a bra because of the lining. I didn't believe it, but -- yep -- no need for a bra! I was so happy I didn't run out and buy a new strapless black bra for this! It was super comfortable, I received many compliments, and I felt great in the dress. The fabric is nice and heavy.

This has a harder and heavier feel to it. Feels like wearing velvet. It was cute but the waist poofed out and made my stomach look bigger than it was.

The fit was very true to size, as I'm typically a 4-6 and wore a 6. It was incredibly comfortable, without any issues of it riding up or needing adjusting. The skirt is just long enough you won't worry about length, but short enough to feel sexy!

Rented this dress because I knew it would definitely fit, given this is a shape I typically find flattering. I usually wear a 6 but have a very small upper body/waist so wound up wearing the 4, which even had a bit of extra room in the waist and chest. Wore my hair up in a low bun with big statement earrings. Definitely got a lot of compliments on the dress, but I didn't give it five stars because the dress is pretty simple--it's not an amazing piece of clothing you're going to remember forever but certainly got the job done.

This is an adorable LBD. It is very flattering to a curvy shape- full in the skirt yet fitted at the waist - also gorgeous shape at the bust. I wore it with a strapless bra. I found the bow a bit uncomfortable- it buttons in the back and was a bit tight around the neck. Loved that the dress has pockets- kept my lipstick with me all night! Wore with studded black pumps and nude stockings.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this LBD! Wore it for a fancy dinner in Manhattan with my hubby. It was perfect! Just the right amount sexy, while still being elegant and classy. I was worried how the collar/necktie would feel, but it actually fit comfortably all night.

Perfect fit! We danced the night away and this dress allowed it. I received more compliments than I knew what to do with! It really shows off your shoulders!

I usually wear a size 4 in dresses but since I had a baby about 5 months ago i go back and forth between 4 & 6 depending on how the dress fits me in the bust. The dress was very comfortable and I received a ton of compliments! The ONlY reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was because it was very difficult to zip. Other than the that, it was a great dress and one I will probably look to actually re rent!
