This was a backup dress when my original choice did not work out. I am mid-40s and worried this dress might look older but it was very pretty and comfortable on. I wear size 6 in regular clothing and the size 8 dress fit perfectly (even though I expected to have to size up more). I opted to wear shapewear underneath to smooth things out but it was not necessary and fit well without it. I was able to wear a strapless bra under the dress without it showing. I am 5'4" and wore a kitten heel to get the dress just off the ground (I'm not wearing shoes in the attached photo). It was very comfortable to sit and dance in and I got a lot of compliments on it at the event.

True to size, great length for me to wear a 1.5" heel and am 5'9". Comfortable for a seated dinner .

I wore this as a guest at a black tie wedding. It fit great (was honestly a tiny bit big but that was more comfy). I was very comfortable all night. At 5'6", the size 2 was a tad bit shorter than I would've liked but it still looked great.

This dress is beautiful. The color and fit are amazing! It’s so comfortable and flowy. I wish I had another event to wear it to.

Sometimes it’s hard to judge colors online. This is listed as maroon, but I thought it leaned more plum with navy tones. It was perfect for a December wedding! The fabric has some give, so it hugs your curves, and the lace helps blur areas you might not want to highlight. I would definitely rent this again, and I’ve noticed the designer offers similar styles in brighter colors and shorter lengths that would be great for sunnier seasons, which I’d love to rent for the right event.

After reading others reviews I thought the regular length would work with heels but that was a mistake. I had to hold the dress up most of the evening and the high heels I had to wear kept getting stuck in the embroidery at the bottom. Other than that, I dress was flattering and I received several compliments.

Perfect dress for a formal event

This dress was a bit of a challenge to zip up, but I was able to get it by myself eventually. Fitted but flattering with some shapewear underneath. Loved the lace and the color, but ultimately went with a different dress that had long sleeves as it was a very cold night. Would rent again.

This fit me perfectly and was super comfortable. Sized accurately. Note that this dress is navy blue and burgundy in color, so I went with gold metallic heels.

Came new with tags which is a bonus! Gorgeous dress. I think it probably fits true to size if you can get the right size.

Another RTR success! I was so pleased with the fit, especially in the chest. Perfect for large tatas! So many compliments and the details and texture were fabulous! I wore it for a masquerade gala.

The stress was so elevated but also very comfortable and I paired it with maroon matte pumps and navy rhinestone earrings and it was a really pretty ensemble

The fit is IT! Hourglass shape works great here. I think maybe it was a bit roomy in the bust due to previous renters but it worked great. I tried to buy it - I love it so much. Received many compliments!

I wore this dress to my annual gala and it was a perfect fit. I absolutely loved it. I used an accent burgundy belt and a deep navy light jacket for fall.

It fit great everywhere except around the rib/hip area it was too big so we had to pull it tight in pictures. Stunning and got lots of compliments!

This is a very conservative black tie / formal gown. I’m a solid 6 and the 4L fit perfectly. Note, this is a burgundy gown over a navy underlayer.

Ordered this as a backup wedding guest dress and didn’t end up wearing. It’s beautiful and well made but felt a bit too matronly compared to my other choice. The fit was spot on and would make a great mother of the bride dress.

For my taste

I wore this dress to a wedding and LOVED it! My one flag is that it definitely runs short, because I usually have to order the "short" version of dresses, but I ordered this one as a "long" and it was the perfect length with my heels on.

This fit perfectly and was an amazing length. I could even wear it with flats when I rolled my ankle before going to the event. Not quite dressy enough for true black tie, but would be great for a wedding. Texture and material is nice but the color is muted and it's fairly conservative so not exactly a standout. But super comfortable, easy to wear, and fairly flattering.
