I do not love my body at the moment but I know when I was looking, photos and body type really helped me with what dress to pick so I will pay it forward despite how I feel internally about myself lol. Love the dress especially for post baby body. I’m 5’4 about 160lbs and 36DD. I’m currently wearing a size 8 and that’s what I wore in the dress. I felt like it fit really well and I felt very comfortable in it. Would definitely suggest.

You definitely need help getting in and out of this dress because it has a double hook system, but once you’re in it you feel stunning. Very comfortable and great quality

Overall fit was amazing. The boning in the top provided enough support that I didn't need a bra and the shape of the dress was super flattering if you have a bit of a "mom pooch". It was comfortable for sitting/eating as well as dancing. I wore it to a work gala and I feel it's the right amount of conservative but also flattering. I could zip up the 0 but the 2 was more comfortable.

I was very concerned about this dress fitting!! Everyone said to size up, but there were no 8s available. It’s tight but once you get it on it does loosen up a little bit. My husband had to zip me into it. But it fit perfectly once I was in it. I would definitely say that if your bust is bigger than 36 inches you’re going to need a bigger size. This dress has corset wires in the waist and bust of it. There’s also a clasp in the back that helps close it. I didn’t use the clap it felt too tight. I just zipped it up. It fit me around the bust but because I am only a B cup there was a little bit of extra fabric. But an 8 probably would have been too big? This dress is tricky. My hips are 36 inches and it felt a tiny bit snug in the hip section kinda pulling the front slit open. But this dress was beautiful. I received many compliments and I felt appropriate and comfortable wearing it!! It’s a beautiful dress just super sketchy on what size will work. I’d say order your usual size and your backup size should be one size up. I would have been interested to see how the 8 fit. But the dress worked well for me!! Good luck! I ordered a 4 and 6 and was able to wear the 6 which is more my natural size.

I wore this to a wedding and I loved it. My picture definitely doesn’t do it justice. The fabric was beautiful and elegant. The length fell just above my ankles. The fit was so comfortable and didn’t make me self-conscious. I have a mommy belly so the ruching of the belly area made mine very forgiving and even hugged me at my hips. I would definitely wear this again.

I wore this dress recently to a formal wedding and received many compliments on it. I'm probably a little more plus-size than the other reviewers here. This was a last-minute switch that Megan at Rent the Runway recommended and I couldn't have been happier. I recommend going a size up if you are on the cusp. The structure of the dress helped in the bust area. I did wear a bra - but tucked in the straps. Honestly, I probably could have gone with other it. No need to wear spanx or shaper undergarments. I went with the smaller size, I’m usually an 8 and it was a bit tight, but the 10 had too much fabric in the chest. The wrap style dress is so flattering on the curves! I loved it. If you have big hips and can fill out the top, size up. The slit opens up higher the larger your hips are.

There is just something about dresses of higher quality, they fit different, in a good way! The boning felt a little off on the inside but it didn’t hurt or wasn’t uncomfortable. The dress was actually super comfy. Zipper was a little tough to get up even with help, but we got it. Received lots of compliments.

I normally wear a 4 or 6 and based on the other reviews I ordered the 6. I have an athletic build and my upper body is wide. It fit great and is very forgiving fabric and around the middle. Easy to sit in, dance in and no spanx or hose needed. Elegant yet comfortable.

super flattering and easy to move in. works for a variety of formal events - it’s modest without looking like it’s a dress for work. works with a bra if it has convertible straps - i fit one bra strap under the top dress strap - although the bodice has boning in it! have rented this twice now and seriously considering buying it, it’s so perfect.

I ended up liking this on myself much more than I thought I would based on the model picture. It fit true to size - I’m 5’7”, about 130 pounds, 32B and wore a size 2. I didn’t fill out the top of the dress but the way it’s designed I feel like you couldn’t really tell. Wore this to a formal work event and got a lot of compliments! I considered buying it but the price tag was a bit high. Might rent it again if I have another formal event!

The dress fitted perfectly!

This dress was stunning. The fit was perfect and provided a great hourglass shape. I have more of an athletic frame so it’s hard to find dresses that don’t make me look more square. Slightly tight on a larger chest but the interior corset was a great touch. Only other note is the strap required adjusting throughout the night but nothing major.

I rented this dress in 2023 but had to miss the event, so I never got to wear it. A year later I knew the exact dress I wanted for a wedding because that’s how damn good I felt in it! It’s a great blend of classy & sexy. I would have felt better in the 8 but due to a broad back I couldn’t zip the 8 had to size up to the 10. Since I’m a shortie it hit at my ankles, but I was able to use some safety pins to shorten it. I really do hold all my weight in my stomach and this dress gave me a figure and never once made me self conscious of my tummy.

I really didn’t want to give this one back! Wore for a formal event at the orchestra. It’s hard to get into by yourself because there’s an inside strap thing (?) and actual boning in the top, but the support and fit is worth it.

Fabric does not have stretch I got a 12 and fit perfectly.

This dress is elegant and fun. I have thick thighs and a peachy bottom, so size 6 fit snuggly around there, but perfectly everywhere else. This is my 2nd time ordering this dress because I love the way it looks and feels.

It runs a little small. Ii am usually a 4/6 and the 6 was a tight squeeze. I love how it bunched up in the middle it helped cover my little pooch. I received so many compliments. Would definitely recommend. Dress is amazing!
