Wore it to a black tie wedding. Need to wear heels with it!

I absolutely loved this dress and received many compliments throughout the night. Perfect fit and didn’t have to mess with top dress through out the night.

Great fit! Usually, I don't wear strapless dresses because they fall down. This one stayed in place all night. Received many compliments on the dress at the wedding I attended. The blue sash is the wow factor.

Fits great and comfortable to wear, easy to dance in. Pop of blue makes it a statement black tie option.

Great material. I wasn’t ever on the verge on having a wardrobe malfunction, but I did find myself having to pull up the dress throughout the night. Not enough that it really bothered me, however.

I wore this to an awards ceremony with my company and it was perfect! The slit is still very work-appropriate and the dress stayed put all night -- never had to pull it up or fidget with it! I ordered an 8 and a 10 as my back up size. The 10 could have worked but was a little bit big. The 8 fit perfectly! I think that the sizing is pretty forgiving tbh. If I had to give any critiques of the dress, it'd just be that the top lining is starting to flip outside the dress a bit at the top. However when the dress is on, you don't notice it if you aren't looking for it! Also, I am 5'7" and it was almost too short with a tiny pair of 3" heels on! You could see my feet all night haha. But overall I still loved it and am so glad I rented this one!

Would consider sizing up if larger bust size. I wore one size larger. Was so simple and beautiful and that pop of color was amazing . Didn’t have to wear a bra with this- the wiring fit just right . Loved the dress!

I wasn’t sure if this would fit. It was snug and held everything in place. I felt beautiful all night long and got compliments constantly. Beyond perfect.

I came to rent the runway in search of an expensive, quality gown that I wouldn't have to pay a lot for and that wouldn't be haunting me in my closet for years to come as ill only wear it once and was very satisfied. This gown was made with quality materials and makes you look so expensive. It was perfect for my pretty slim body type and olive skin tone. The bodice is this rich navy blue satin bow and the skirt is a good quality black fabric. The slit goes up the back the perfect amount for a formal function. I will say that the satin bodice was very restrictive so definitely size up if need be. Such a beautiful, flattering, festive dress! I paired this dress with silver/ diamond look but I think it would also be beautiful paired with gold!

I actually didn't end up wearing this out because I found one I loved even more, but this would have been the perfect classy gala gown. There's an inside clip at the back to hold the dress up. My chest is usually 32C and with the clip it was tight, but in a secure way. It definitely wouldn't fall down when dancing! This dress looks and feels expensive and I can tell had not been worn a ton (I rented before there were any reviews!).

Only con is the length, I'm 5'2 and had to wear 4 inch heels so the dress would drag. The dress fits perfectly, and is just beautiful. I definitely recommend this dress if you are thinking about it.

I wore this a couple of times. Once for a formal night on a cruise and another to the the Metropolitan Opera. It was comfortable, got compliments, and was very flattering.

Such a great dress- classy, elegant. Snug and comfortable!! Flattering. Never had to worry about the top slipping.

Wore this to a Mediterranean black tie wedding and it was perfect! Definitely size up. I usually wear between an 8 and 10. The 8R wouldn’t even close towards the top, but bottom and length was good. The 10R fit just right but felt slightly tight by the bust due to corset, however no need for a bra. Overall, very flattering and elegant. Highly recommend!

Sexy, classy, sharp and feminine! This dress was an all around great pick. The slit in the back lets your legs breathe so you don’t overheat, the material was stunning and very flattering. I wore this in 2023 when I was around 130 lbs so fit profile is not as accurate now - however, I still get compliments on this dress two years later!

I generally gravitate towards strapless dresses and I loved this dress. Get your size because not much give in this fabric. True to size.

If you’re short and you’re unsure if this dress is going to be too long, my advice is to invest in some high heels or fabric tape. It’s going to puddle a tiny bit, so be prepared. I wore this dress to a black-tie wedding, and it was perfect!

What is great about this dress is that the bodice has a clasp on the inside, so even though it is strapless it stays in place. Did not spend a single second pulling up on it or adjusting the top (admittedly I have smaller breasts). The fit is pretty true to size. I got compliments all night. Would definitely wear again!

I was nervous about fit, but the 12 was perfect. The black fabric has stretch, and the matte crepe finish is very forgiving. I’d say there was a lot of room in the bust - I’m a 36D and had to wear a strapless and it still wasn’t overly snug but it wasn’t a problem. As others have said, the seam along the bust line wants to flip & show the lining, some safety pins and fashion tape took care of that. Only negative was that the bottom edge of the corset insert started to dig in as the night went on, but it wasn’t terrible. I got compliments and felt gorgeous all night, would absolutely recommend this dress.

I am 145lbs, 5’2” and wore a size 8R. I had 3” heels on in this picture too. I felt amazing in this dress the corset boning did hurt a little under my arm but if your arms are skinnier it may not bother you like it did mine!

I'm normally a little bit weary of strapless dresses but this one is very secure and comfortable. It fit perfectly and it was even more stunning in person!

This dress is STUNNING I was honestly so sad sending it back! Wore it to a black tie wedding and couldn’t have been happier. Fits like a glove. The one thing is that it definitely ran small - I’ve always been a 4 in everything and the 4 was waaaay too tight, and the backup 6 fit perfectly. So I’d suggest ordering your size and a size up. Enjoy!

Unfortunately I don’t have a great picture wearing this dress but you should definitely rent it if you’re thinking about it!!! It’s so classy and fits beautifully. The material is comfortable and flattering. I’m 5”1-5”2 and the length is great even with short heels.

Ordered this dress for a black-tie optional Fine Arts Ball with a Minimalism theme. The dress fit perfectly, and I loved the subtle pop of blue and the slit in the skirt! I received several compliments on the dress. Overall, very pleased with my second RTR experience! Perfect dress for what I needed.

This dress fit perfectly and was a great choice for a black tie wedding! The blue sash brought the drama and the pop of color that I was looking for, while still being chic and subtle. I’m short and only wore an inch high heels, but didn’t run into any issues with the length. The top is a wired corset that holds everything in place and stays put (no constant pulling up the dress). It was super comfy and I was able to dance, sit, eat, walk with no issues. Highly highly recommend!

The dress fit perfectly! Tons of compliments. I did wear a strapless bra. Perfect for occasion.

This dress has a bra band built in that kept it up and in place all night for a NYE party, so I could dance the night away without fear of it slipping down or constantly hiking it up. If you’re over 5’8 this dress may be too short unless you’re looking for something that hits high on the ankle.

If you’re deciding between two size, size up. I usually wear an 8 or a 10. I wore the 10 in this dress, but it was very snug. I wish I would have ordered a 10 and 12 (instead of 8 and 10).

My primary size is 8 but the 6 fit perfectly. A strapless that stayed in place all night and looked stunning.

I wore this to a military ball, and it fit like a glove! The dress matched the event perfectly as well as his dress uniform. I was initially because RTR could only send one size, but the 4 fit well. I received lots of compliments on the dress and didn’t want to take it off by the end. It’s comfortable and has room to dance, eat and move around. I would consider renting this dress again. You’ll feel like a princess!
