This is a great sweater dress which is perfect for the office. It's doesn't really stretch that much, it holds and supports as it's a heavier weight. I really like this on my pear shape as it's accentuates my smaller waist then flares out. Highly recommend.

Ordered this lovely yet understated dress for a banquet originally, but my chosen size of XL was pretty snug and I didn't feel comfortable wearing for over 4 hours. I eventually wore it the day before returning for a quick date night at a local cozy wine bar. The material is warm and thick, perfect for autumn and winter. Note that the material is not stretchy at all! I have a larger bust and a bit of a tummy so the fit was snug! The longer skirt hit at tea length on me and was perfect - I could wear my 2-3 inch heels sans stockings as the skirt kept my legs warm for the short walk to the bar. The way the skirt drapes from the waist/hips was my favorite feature. If this dress came with some stretch or Shoshanna made an XXL for us busty gals, I'd rent this again or buy it!!

This was great for a cold day since it's quite heavy and long. The opening going over the head is a bit tight and there's a pattern of small holes across the chest that showed the print on my bra looking closely.
