I'm really liking the details and fit of Shoshanna dresses; however, this one just fit a bit odd on me.

I chose to pass on this dress because for my apple shaped/ inverted triangle body, it just didn't do much for me. The detail got lost and it wore kind of plain on me.

I should have gone down a size. Nice material and color but the waist hung too low and emphasized my hips and bum. I've really liked other Shoshanna dresses in the past but this one just didn't do it for me.

A bit plain, but it was worth it because it flattered my figure and hid my flaws.

This is a great dress for day or night. Super comfy and great fit. Fabric is stretchy.

I definitely recommend sizing up in this one so that it's less body-con (it has the diagonal lines of a bodycon dress). It's also a bit too low cut for work--I ended up using fashion tape to keep it at an appropriate level.

Will rent again in a size 2 instead of 4. A little big but probably because it's brand new and hasn't been dry cleaned. Liked the material and length.

The dress was just not my style, ultimately, so decided not to wear it. I ordered a size 10, but it was too big on me -- especially in the chest area. You could see my bra and the material gaped at my chest, which is ultimately, why I didn't wear it and just returned. It would be a super-cute dress if it fit.

The fabric and overall look of this dress is great, but it runs HUGE. Definitely size down at least 1 size. I'm usually comfortable in a 4, I feel like I could have fit into a 0.

the photo suggests this is a fit and flare dress, it is instead all body con with banded material similar to something Herve Leger/BCBG. It's modeled to look like a work dress but much too tight and nighttime and no way work appropriate.

This dress runs small, especially if you have hips/a butt. The angled fabric pieces cut my body weird and overall it was too small, so it didn't flare out like it does on the model. If you are straight and narrow this dress would look nice. You could also size up because the fabric is stretchy to make sure it hits correctly!

I hated where this dress hit - the diagonal cut hit right under my little tummy pooch and made it super exaggerated. I didn't end up wearing. Would be cute for someone with more even fat distribution/flat tummy!
