The dress is best served on a long and slender body type, however, the design and crochet style outer layer gave the dress an elegance that can be forgiving if you have wider hips.

Love the lace detailing on this dress and the fit. It's form fitting but not immodest. The sleeves are gorgeous as well with fringing. The lining comes down to the knees.

I wore this to a wedding at a country club in South Carolina. It was not too hot and very comfy. Definitely needed to wear a strapless bra with it. No complaints! I'd rent it again.

Runs a bit small so I ordered an 8 instead of a 6 and it fit beautifully. I wore it to a benefit luncheon with a lavender theme so it worked out perfectly! The lace overlay is nice and keeps it from being too sheer so I could wear regular undergarments instead of suffering through Spanx. Very feminine and springy. I got lots of compliments on "my" dress. I have a small chest and it just fit. You may want to order up if you're busty.

Perfect Day to Night Dress for a 4pm Saturday wedding (mind you I'm in Texas where it's still 80 degrees in November!) I'm 5'9, 165 lbs, usually a 4/6 up top and an 8 on the bottom. This fit my curves perfectly! (Have ~29 inch waist!)

Beautiful dress! It was comfortable, but it does not have any give to it and has no stretch. I'm 5'4" for reference on the length.

Rented this dress in a pinch for a co-workers wedding, DID NOT disappoint. The fit was perfect, plenty of room to dance and hugged in all the right places. Typically fall between sizes, but the 6 was perfect. Material was a little thick but was comfortable wearing out in the heat without being sweaty. Would 100% definitely rent this dress again, wish it came in more colors!

The lace on this dress is beautiful - I got tons of compliments all day. I have a long torso, so there was some loose extra fabric between my waist and hips in both the size 0 and 2 I tried on, but it wasn't too obvious. I generally wear a 2 and this fit better than the 0, which was a bit tight through the shoulders. I do have broad shoulders, but I still don't think this dress runs large enough to need a full size down, at least for my body type.

The color and fit of this dress were great. I received tons of compliments! Definitely think it requires heels with this length. It was more comfortable than it looked as well.

The color of this dress was gorgeous. The fit was overall comfortable just a little difficult to raise your arms overhead -- depending on how hard you go dancing.

This dress is softer than I expected, and I felt pretty and comfortable at a wedding + reception where I didn’t move around a lot. It is quite fitted so might not be the best if you’ll be dancing a lot. The length worked well for me at 5’7” with a higher heel but might be frumpy on someone more petite or with flats.

Fit perfect. I am between an 8 and 10 and wore the 10. Was able to sit and dance comfortably. The wedding was at the beach so I styled more casually but could dress it up.

This dress is true to size (I ALWAYS wear Spanx) and just beautiful. I love that it needed NO accessorizing, I only wore a pair of earrings and some neutral shoes. Also, I am 65, it is totally age appropriate

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! I got compliments the entire day. The only thing is the crochet makes it a bit stiff so you can’t do a whole lot of moving in it, but other than that it’s really comfortable and easy to wear.

Rented for my mom to wear for my rehearsal dinner at a beach club and it was a hit! She received many compliments. The dress was elegant yet comfortable and the fabric was light, there is a bit of stretch to it.

I love this dress so much that I rented it for two weddings. I wore this to the religious ceremony portion of a wedding that was held outdoors in August. The length is great on my frame and the dress has a nice weight that allows the fabric to fall in a flattering way without feeling too heavy. The slip is a perfect length and not noticeable. The mermaid style restricted my movements a little bit, but this is more of a conservative dress than a dress meant for dancing. The dress was fine with nipple covers—something more supportive may have been nice but there was no room for a bra, strapless or not. As I’m writing this I wondered if I should have just kept the dress!

I wore this to a summer formal wedding. I was 3 months postpartum and this dress did the trick for pumping - fit my larger boobs, could wear a regular nursing / pumping bra, and could zip down just the top half (zipper was a wee bit stiff but still ok). I was a size 4 pre pregnancy, and wore the size 6. For bras/undies/shapewear the lining was a tad see through so make sure to wear undergarments that match your skin tone. I’m only 5 1 so the length was great, didn’t have to worry about drag and I wore heels.

The shape and fabric were beautiful and comfortable. Could wear this to work or a cocktail party. Felt too casual for a gala so I didn’t wear it.

This dress was sooo flattering and I just loved it. The only thing to beware is that the sleeve are lace, so I wore a sticky bra to avoid bra straps showing.

I wore this dress to a wedding and I loved it. The color is a beautiful lilac color which was complimentary to my lighter complexion. I also liked the length because I was attending a sunset wedding with an evening reception and the length made the dress look more formal. I've rented Shoshanna once before and her dresses always have beautiful elegant design. I received many compliments on this dress. Normally I wear a size 10. I ordered this dress 2 weeks before the wedding so by then, many of the sizes were already rented. There was a size 12 left and other reviews had said the dress ran small so I ordered the 12, since it was the closest to my size. The dress fit nicely and I received many compliments. If I were to order it again, I think I'd order the size 10 (which would be my normal size) as the 12 was a little loose on me, but still looked fantastic.

This is the second time I’ve rented this dress for an April wedding. Both events have had slightly cooler weather (60 degrees) so the short sleeves and midi length are perfect for a little extra coverage. Lots of compliments!

Fits like a glove

I loved this dress! I usually wear a 0 or 2 and I ended up wearing the 0 because it fit better. The 2 would have been fine also, but it was a smidge loose in the chest area (I'm a 34A). The dress is form fitting and does not have any stretch. The fit was perfect and I got so many compliments!

I ordered the 4 & 6 and when they arrived both were too small! I had a backup but really had my heart seat on this dress... 1 call to RTR, problem solved they overnighted a size 8! It was comfortable & I got so many compliments! Thank you RTR<3

Really loved this dress! The slip did run up a little while dancing so just keep an eye out but the dress was sooo fun to wear. I have a big buff and it fit like a glove. Pic of behind so you can see the shape of dress on my body. Others have already posted so many of the front so I think back needed to be highlighted because man oh man

I love this dress! I usually wear a size 10 to 12 but ordered a 14 by accident this time. I was glad I had the extra room, because it felt a little snug in places. I got so many compliments and it was so comfortable to wear.
