I loved the length and the flare at the bottom of this dress, but I wish I had gone down a size. It fit fine in my shoulders and bust but was very baggy around my midsection and I think would be much more flattering if it was more fitted throughout. It has a good amount of stretch so I think a size down would have worked better. I traveled with it and loved that I didn’t have to iron it after pulling it out of the suitcase.

Perfect for a conservative event while being absolutely stunning. I did wear shape wear to keep it all in, but I felt super sexy without showing skin. The ruffles add the feminine flair too. Big fan.

Great heavy fabric, very stretchy. Nice dress. I don't love the neckline. It's too heavy to lay open and so I think it's kind of awkward. I always Spanx but you wouldn't have to.

Loved this dress for #work! Fit like a glove in all the right places. I'm not a fan of my tummy section so the asymmetrical hemline and the stripes helped out with this. I would definitely rent again!

Loved loved this dress. Great fit and the fun hem adds flair and fun to an otherwise normal black dress. Fabric is nice and thick, so it's great for cold weather, too. Wore it to work and then a happy hour after. Perfect!!

What could have been a basic dress gets elevated by a fun, flounced ruffle hemline! Just a bit of a "Morticia Adams goes to work" vibe, but not at all tight! Made for my pear shaped figure, narrower shoulders and a wider bottom. Regular bra friendly, no Spanx necessary, super comfortable. Perfect weight/style for between seasons, thinking of pairing with boots and a jacket for colder temps. Very figure flattering. And oh, the compliments!

I typically wear a 2 to 4. This dress is heavy, stretchy and forgiving. It can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

Easy to style

I’d get anything made by Shoshanna. All of her clothes are so well made. I love her fabrics. This dress is heavy but not too hot. It hugs the body nicely but I didn’t feel stuffed in. It is an elegant black dress. Unfortunately I had to wear it to a funeral and it was appropriate. I’ve rented it before and wore it to a meeting at work. I’d get it again for a nice dinner party. It’s very wearable and comfortable. I felt good in it and my husband liked it too. A bonus.

Hugs all the right parts - you can button it up or wear a Twilley and open up the neckline / a terrific transitional piece. I wore this to a very special conservative event and felt extremely confident as well as conservative. The unique hemline sets it apart. I can’t believe I don’t have a photo, but I plan to rent again and will share! Highly recommend if you like the designs & fit of Shoshanna!

I am 6 months pregnant and this dress was perfect for my corporate event. The neckline was different but overall dress worked great. Heavy material which was nice as it didn't wrinkle.

Fit is as expected, with a flattering neckline and skirt, you can't go wrong! Love that the sleeves were a long short sleeve, perfect for arm coverage without being too warm.

This dress is beautiful! The fabric is thick and luxurious and well made like all Shoshanna dresses. I love all of it except the sporty neckline. It does take it down a notch but I also felt like it then wasn't quite dressy enough for the funeral I was attending so I wore it to the wake the day before.

I am Hispanic and curvy.... Full hair full hips This dress is made very well the material hung flattering to your body. Normally I am not one to try something with ruffle on the hemline or not a straight hemline this was acceptable for work and or work to out for evening or drink!

This dress is gorgeous and looks great with heels or flat sandals (I can picture it with sneakers, too, because of the polo cut). The neckline, sleeve length, and hem length are all modest, but because I'm curvy, it looked sexy.

Fine for work

Shoshanna is one of my favorite brands. I love her mermaid style dresses, they are perfect for curvy women.

I rented the dress as a backup for a funeral. Pretty simple design but it fit fine and had some stretch which was nice. I ended up wearing my first choice and didn't actually wear this one, but I would consider renting it again for work.
