This dress is beyond gorgeous! Pics do not do it justice! I wore this for a benefit gala and got compliments all night long. Common praise "you look hot". Not a usual compliment for me lol! The dress fit me perfectly! Strapless bra is a must, you will not get the full effect if you see straps. I am not I love with my arms and this gave me perfect coverage.

It’s a little snug through the top and there isn’t any give in the fabric in the top or the arms so if your arms are a little bigger size up. I got an 8 and a 10 and both fit but to be more comfortable when sitting I wore the 10. It is very pretty and I had a lot of compliments even from people I didn’t know.

Selected this dress for a western themed holiday party. It was perfect. The lace overlay is beautiful. Received lots of compliments. Ordered two sizes and went with the larger size. There’s not a lot of stretch but it feels fitted. I danced and worked parts of the event. I comfortable in my dress, boots and Stetson hat. I’ve 5’2 and fit to my knees. Perfect for a cocktail party.

This dress fit perfect. If I had any complaint, it was a little high waisted. But overall great. I wore it to a Holiday party and had lots of compliments. Looked good even on a woman my age!

I ordered the 14, I am 13 weeks postpartum and normally wear a size 10 or so. This dress was very flattering. It actually was likely a size too large but you couldn't tell at all. It just gave me a little extra space throughout. I am a 36F while breastfeeding and this still was comfortable in the top without gaping. The material was fairly thick so it was a little warm for an outdoor ceremony but overall I am considering buying the dress! I would definitely wear it again.

Rented this as a backup since my original order didn't work and I am so happy I did! From the detailing in the fabric to the fun flared style, I felt so comfortable and beautiful all night and I got endless compliments. It was great for big band dancing. Plus, no need for spanx!

I absolutely loved this dress! I wore it for my work holiday party and received so many compliments. It is a great spin on a black dress. It fits true to size and looks so pretty on. I was able to go without a bra because it was tight enough that you wouldn't notice. I 100% would rent this again!

The lace is very nice and it's a pretty comfortable fit. It was slightly tight in my chest but I was able to wear it without a bra and that helped. It's different and pretty. Would rent again.

My only gripe about this was lack of pockets. It hid all of my problem areas, and was beautiful. I'm pretty busty/broad shouldered so it was a bit tight up top with the lace, but wasn't uncomfortable. I'd definitely rent this again!

Beautiful dress, comfortable and elegant. I liked that it is a bit more covered up but not too modest. Size 0 was just a bit too tight, 2 could have been slightly tighter but was the better option and still looked great.

This dress was well made and a flattering cut. I also got a casual Shoshanna dress which was tight around the waist in the same size but, this one was perfect. I love the lace detail and the short length worked for the Carribean weather.

Based on the other reviews, I was worried my size would be too small. RTR was out of stock on the size up, so I chose a different dress as my backup. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and fit like a glove! (A size up would've been a little big...) The dress is very comfortable & extremely flattering, especially for my hourglass figure. Also, it hid my arms with a sheer, ruffle sleeve. Shoshanna dresses are my absolute favorite. She designs for real women. The fabric was sturdy, dress well designed & manufactured. 10/10 - Will definitely try this style, designer again! *This dress would be short on a taller woman. I'm 5'2" and it hit just above the knee...

I wore this to an outdoor wedding. I felt that the floral lace softened up the black dress. It was easy to dance in and photographs very well. The fit was true to size.

I run between a 6 and an 8 and the 6 fit perfectly! I got a ton of compliments, it's a really classic look and it was super comfortable. Would definitely rent again!

I could have worn the 10 but it was very snug across the shoulders and chest. The 12 allowed room for eating, drinking and dancing! This dress is adorable and the length was great (about 1” above my knee). I would’ve loved to have owned it!! (I am 5’9, 165, 38B...I’m also not very curvy - Incase you’re trying to decide on a size and need a guide).

I got so many compliments on this dress! The embroidery is just gorgeous and the detailing is so pretty. It's the perfect length and is super flattering. I'm self conscious about my arms and the sleeves covered them nicely. The fabric is sturdy and overall the dress is comfortable. I'm bummed I can't buy it!!

This dress was so pretty on!! I absolutely loved the detail of the neckline/chest area! The dress was very slimming as well. The dress fit true to size everywhere other than in the circumference of the arms. It's was a tad tight in this area, but not uncomfortably so. No need for a necklace with this one! The neckline is perfect as is! I'd rent this one again for sure!

The dress looks and feels way better on than on the hanger. I got the 8 as a backup and didn't need it. 6 fit perfectly. The top details are gorgeous. Snug around the waist, but flowy enough not to care. Very fitted around chest (32DDD). I wore strapless bra. Very happy with my choice.

I am 5'6 - 150 - 28 in waist This is a very iconic, elegant, sophisticated, professional and chic dress! 🖤 I absolutely adore the details throughout the dress. I feel classical and almost iconic in my own way. I paired this dress with chunky platform booties, with a bow. I personally don't think this dress needs much, but it would go perfectly with a long pearl necklace or even a crop leather jacket. I feel it's a stable piece on its own. Would recommend for all. I loved this dress so much! It fit like a glove. I couldn't stop smiling when wearing it. I wore it on date night with my husband. The only area that was slightly tight was in the bust. I would say it fits true to size overall, but if you are larger than a DD or have very wide shoulders, you may want to size up. Just an amazing dress that I cannot wait to rent again.

Beautiful and conservative dress I wore to a wedding that was more religious and cocktail attire. True to size and fit perfectly. Loved the illusion neckline and got a ton of compliments. The sleeves made it a bit hard to dance in (or at least the way I do), and the conservative nature of the dress had me looking a little matronly in certain photos.
