I wore this dress to my sons graduation from medical school in DC on a balmy 90'+ muggy day and it wore exceptionally well! It was thin enough to keep me cool yet not see through thin. It did not wrinkle at all after sitting for 3 hours. I would definitely rent this one again.

This dress fit my body type perfectly. It was broader in the shoulders and gave the appearance that I have a waist. It was also ver comfortable.

I loved everything about this dress! The color, the fit, it was very unique and it worked perfect at the office then to dinner that night! Travels well! Lots of compliments and I recommend!

I wore this dress for an event I hosted. It had odd, tiny, circular stains on it that I am reporting to RTR, but I loved the actual dress. I would have wanted to keep it forever if it would have arrived clean. Rent this dress.

The fit was perfect. The dress showed off some curves, but was also flowy. Got a ton of compliments! My only con is that the fabric is a little thin.

Dear RTR-ers. What a night! Wore this spectacular raisin color dress to a person of the year dinner. I totally stood out in this beautiful dress and received more compliments than I could count. The hi-lo hemline offers a swish to the skirt I adored; the peek-a-boo opening on the chest was just enough. Paired with tights, patent wedges and a black leather moto jacket to completely stand out in a crowd of LBDs. Definitely renting again. May even buy it...

I love the fit of this dress. The fabric has some stretch, the length was long enough to wear for work, and the eyelet at the neck shows a bit of skin, but no cleavage. The arms will a little tight on me - not so tight as to be uncomfortable, but a bit snug compared to the rest of the dress. I paired the dress with a lariat necklace and booties.

Mostly liked this dress. A bit more fitted at my hips. I'm short and it felt a little long in the back (it's a high/low style). Love the eggplant color.

This dress was perfect for a belated work holiday party. It is fitted on the top and flowy on the bottom. It was very comfortable. The only drawback was that the zipper catches so you need to have someone zip it for you. Otherwise great dress!

This dress is great - it's work appropriate but also has flare, and the color is great. The cut is also flattering for my curvy frame. I docked it one star because there are flaps on the inside of the keyhole cutout that kept coming out, and for a long sleeve dress the material is a little thin. Overall, however, it's a winner.

Flattering, comfortable dress in gorgeous aubergine color. Quite conservative. Peek-a-boo opening at chest is small and very appropriate for work/church. I am usually a size 10 on top and size 8 at bottom (5'8", 154 lbs, 36C). This dress in size 10 fit perfectly, with a little bit of extra room at the hips (as expected). My only knock on this dress is that it is not lined (especially since the material is quite light weight).

This dress is very thin. It's not the quality I would expect for the price. It's a nice plum color, fun hem line, and easy to wear. I wore it for work travel and dinner with colleagues.

I rented this dress for work, but I ended up wearing it to temple instead. Different from my usual black, and also a bit longer (in the back at least), but I got lots of compliments. Saw quite a few people in similar colors, so I guess it's on trend. I liked the ruffle and that it came up in the front, but it still felt a little big. However, the fabric is very thin, so you may want to be careful about sizing down. Don't think it would be very forgiving.

Unfortunately the sizing on this dress doesn't make sense. I ordered a 6 even though I'm usually a 4. The bottom part of the dress fit *perfectly* and was actually so pretty. However, the top part of the dress (sleeves and bust area) were massive. It is overloaded with so much extra material on top. I'm flat chested so that didn't help but would not recommend this dress to anyone unless you have a large bust or broad shoulders because it's more than likely going to look ridiculous on top.

Loved the color and cut of this dress; I wore it with flats and a jacket to a morning bar mitzvah in November, but it could easily dress up for evening. The dress does not have any lining, however, so it shows every lump and bump (paging Spanx). I've rented and worn other Shoshanna dresses with better lining. I'm still happy with my choice - if you're considering this dress, just be aware of the lack of lining.

Loved the fabric and the cut.

First, Shoshanna is a brand that fits me well. Her designs skim the body and are very flattering. The color is gorgeous and I felt fantastic. I wore the dress at a conference when I had to be on stage... which always makes me a bit nervous. I had no concerns about how I was dressed and received quite a few compliments on the dress.

I wore this several times. It's a nice dress.

The fabric is thin and thus appropriate for spring, summer, or fall.

Can't say enough about the cut of this dress - it is insanely flattering, including the ruffle at the bottom, which can be VERY hit or miss for me. I didn't wear this dress because it was a smidge tight in the arms and (more importantly) it was too thin for winter. It's not lined at all, so be advised on that front.

pretty, really like the neckline

I ordered this for work, but ended up only wearing it for a date because the front slit revealed far too much for me to wear to work. Otherwise it was beautiful and flattering.

The dress is a rich, sophisticated color with a fun, flirty side - perfect for my office holiday party. Paired it with a pair of sparkly pumps and dazzling jewelry since it was a cocktail party at a swanky venue. Thin fabric but that's a plus for me since I'm usually hot; the fabric held up well and didn't wrinkle much at all. Very happy with this rental; I felt comfortable & pretty all night.

This dress is unlined and a pretty thin fabric, which wasn't what I expected from Shoshanna. However, it still managed to hang beautifully and the rich color was gorgeous yet professional. The keyhole was a little lower than I would have liked.

I wore this dress to work and received many compliments. The color was beautiful in person and perfect for fall but the dress was very thin. This dress fit true to size and had a flattering fit on an hourglass shape.

Loved the color and style of this dress. Perfect for a work day. The cons would be the fabric, as a it shows everything and the size. The 6 fit me just fine but I felt like I was sucking in the entire day, so I could have gone up to an 8 for a little more comfort.

good daytime to evening dress

Works great on my relatively curvy body. It fits small in the shoulders, short in the arms and the graduated hem is short in front, so it fits nice on a short person but might look weird on a tall one. The flounce of the hem and keyhole in the front are just enough to dress it up without making it too frumpy or too revealing for work. The high low hem was very flattering for my legs. This is one of my favorite colors for work, too. My criticism is that the material is quite thin and polyestery. It is easy to sweat through, and does not feel like an expensive dress. It needs one of those sweat-catching undershirts underneath and that kind of ruins the keyhole effect. Call me a purist but I expect more natural fibers in designer clothes.

I'm a 10 on top and 8 on bottom, and this was a bit snug though the torso and shoulders. I threw some spanx on and got through a day at the office and a work event after, but I definitely wasn't as comfortable as I wanted to be. But I love the cut and color of the dress. I was a bit worried because I'm not a huge fan of ruffles, but this worked really well. The day ended up being a little chillier than I'd expected, and the material was a bit on the thin side for the weather. Overall, a lovely dress.
