I LOVED this dress and would definitely rent again! The sleeves make this a pretty and comfortable winter option, without being TOO covered up. Perfect for weddings and formal affairs. I’m 5’2” 135 lbs and I felt the size 6 fit nicely. Even though it hangs straight, I felt slimmer (and sexy!) in this dress. I wish I could keep it!

Dress is true to size. Only thing is the lace is stiff so not much give in that. Broad arms you may need to size up. Dress was very flattering and i received a lot of compliments.

This dress was so beautiful and the fabric was very rich. It was so forgiving and the lines laid perfectly on places I wanted to hide, but was so flattering to my long legs. I ordered the size 6 and 8 after reading the reviews that recommended sizing up and I'm glad I did. The size 6 was too tight on my arms. The size 8 was perfect and fit loosely around my mid-section so I didn't have to worry about hiding anything. I got tons of compliments on how gorgeous it was. It was soft and warm on a cold night. This was my first time using Rent The Runway and it was a great experience. I loved this dress! I wore it to a wedding and it made me feel great. I normally wear a 2 but wanted a slightly tighter fit, so I went with the size 0. The slip for the 0 was too short so I actually wore the size 2 slip with the 0 dress and it worked out really well. The sleeves felt snug at first but I got used to them quickly and they weren't uncomfortable. Overall, great dress and great experience.

I have rented this for a wedding and then rented it a second time for a work Christmas party! I usually wear a 0 or 2 and I went with the 0 because it was a little more flattering. I love this dress!

This dress worked perfectly for a winter wedding! It was a little loose on me, which I didn't mind for the most part, but the arms could have been a little tighter. The length was perfect and I loved the fabric and design. I would definitely rent it again!

Fit comfortably

I wore this to my office holiday party with nude hose and burgundy heels. I got a lot of compliments. Great for an office environment as it is conservative up top which balances out the slightly shorter hemline. It was very comfortable. The sleeves are a little snug but didn't bother me. I would rent this again!

Color was great for after thanksgiving wedding. Loved the long sleeves. The fit was nice, I ordered a 4 and a 6, but was sent 2 size 6. It actually fit nicely and gave me a little room to move in on the dance floor!

Dress fit true to size-I usually wear a 0. However the 0 was too short for my liking so I ended up wearing the 2 which wasn't as snug and added just the right amount of length. Dress is two pieces (a slip and the lace overlay) but it didn't cause much of a problem for me but I think the looser fit helped with that as well. Overall perfect for a fall/winter party.

Thick material made dress classy. Short, but not too short. Only negative... was a bit hard to get hands thru dress sleeves at wrist.

I ordered a size 2 and 4 and was concerned because the reviews talked about the tight fitting arms but the 2 fit perfectly with no problems! The lace is a high quality thicker detail than other more delicate lace fabrics. Great dress!

I wore this dress for my engagement photos and it was beautiful! I ordered both the 0 and the 2. While the 0 fit, I wanted the dress to be a bit roomier for the occasion, so I ended up wearing the 2. The dress photographs so well. I just wish I could have kept it!

The fit was a little loose in the stomach, but with it being lace, only I noticed. I ordered the 2, which was too big, and wore the 0 (my back up) which fit great! the sleeve and hem length were perfect. The color looked just like the picture and my boyfriend I got lots of compliments on the color scheme we picked. For sizing reference: I am 5'2, 115lbs, with a muscular body type, and A cup bust.

Rented this for my office Christmas party. The attire was cocktail, but it was at a boss' house. This dress was dressy enough but also super comfy and not tight in the stomach so no pooch after eating and drinking all night. It was short, but not inappropriate, and the long sleeves balanced out the length. Great dress!

I am usually a size 10 in dresses, so usually order a 10 and 12 on RTR to be safe, as I have a larger bust. The 10 fit perfectly! It was not too tight in any area. It was comfortable and I received compliments all night!

Super happy with the condition of the dress I received. I'm a tall chic (5'10" 135-140lbs) so it's hard to find a good fit. I wanted the dress to be a little more form fitting but in the end I was happy for the extra wiggle room.

I loved this dress so much I didn't want to send it back. I ordered the 0 and 2 and the 0 fit perfectly, so I would say it runs true to size. It was a little uncomfortable around my armpits at first, but I got used to it pretty quickly. I was surprised that it was separate pieces- the slip and cover. Definitely on the warmer side, so it's great for a fall or winter event. A beautiful dress I would highly recommend!!

I really enjoyed wearing this dress! It was perfect for a work event that was happening right around the holidays. I'm pretty short (5 ft) and the dress hit a few inches above my knees, which is awesome, because usually dresses that are meant to be a bit shorter are nearly floor length on me (haha). It's nice to balance a conservative top with a shorter length, so I'm glad it wasn't too long on me. I ordered a size 2 and a size 4, I went with the 2 and found that it fit me perfectly, not too snug, not too loose. I wore this with some tights and black booties to give it a little bit more of a festive holiday look. The only major downside with this dress was that it is two pieces, a slip, and then the lace dress that goes over the slip. I found that the slip kept awkwardly shifting throughout the night, and I didn't really notice until I would go look in a mirror and see that it wasn't centered on my body any more... it just kind of moved however it wanted to. Nothing too bad, just made for a little bit of an "uneven" look if I wasn't paying attention to it. Other than the slip shifting, there were a few (very minor) flaws in the dress. The lace had a tiny hole in the front, and some areas were unraveling, just very minor though. Someone else on here mentioned that the arms were snug... I would definitely keep that in mind, this lace is not very stretchy at all. However, if you have smaller arms, you'll be fine. Overall, I enjoyed this dress, I thought it was a perfect winter dress for a formal event!

I'm glad I got both sizes so I wore a 2 for the slip and a 4 for the lace part as I wanted it a little loose so I could move and dance. The lace overlay was a bit stiff.

I really liked the color and design of this dress. It’s great for a fall or winter wedding. It runs a bit short for my liking though and if I wasn’t wearing tights I probably wouldn’t have worn it. It’s also tight in the arms with no give. The neckline of the dress rubs up against your collarbone and there is no way of pulling the dress down to stop it from rubbing. The size 4 was a bit better in the arms and neckline but it hung too lose on my body and it gave me no shape so I went with the 2

The fit was ok, a little baggy in the elbows and tight in the wrists. It is not 100% form fitting, so be prepared for that. Also, it is 2 pieces: a slip and the lace dress. I got a ton of compliments, and it looked great however it was not exactly what I was envisioning.

The slio underneath and long sleeves made this dress tasteful and felt appropriate for a colder climate. As other reviewers have noted, the waist is not very fitted, which meant it looked a little baggier than I would have preferred. The lace was snug around my shoulders and arms, but not uncomfortable. The color is more cranberry than true red.

I loved this color, I loved the scalloping along the hem. It was the perfect NYE dress. But the fit across the shoulders was a little tight: there's not a lot of give to this fabric and it was a little rough along my collarbone. This was my first RTR dress and I think it was a good pick!

I ordered this dress in a size 4 and size 6. The overall shape of the dress is kind of boxy and not form fitting. I wanted something kinda loose in the midsection because I'm self-conscious of my stomach so I was ok with this. The 6 was too big and too boxy and the sleeves were kind of long. The 4 fit better without it being too tight, the dress is 2 pieces; a slip and the "lace" overylay. Only its not lace; it's more of a crochet material and has NO give. My biggest complaint about this dress is the neckline. It came up pretty high to my neck and since the material is kind of rough and doesn't move much, I actually had two red, chafed spots on my neck. 4 days later I can still see where it rubbed and its not because it was too tight! Overall, cute and I got a lot of compliments.

I rented this dress for a company holiday party. I ordered a 4 & 6 as I seem to go in between the two sizes a lot in several different brands. I am 5'2", 34B, 27" waist, 36" hips, and the 4 fit me perfectly. Unfortunately it came with a hole/tear on the stomach that was very obvious when I had the dress on. I opted wearing the 6 (pictured) because of this. It was loose in the waist and made me look bigger than I am, however it is a very pretty dress. Just disappointed my true size wasn't in perfect condition upon arrival.
