I wore this to dinner. Thin sweater so not overwhelming. Very lovely. Beautiful material. This is the first Shoshanna clothing I ever wore. Now a huge fan.

A step above a plain black sweater. The arms are loosely knit but tight fitting. The ruffles are cute. This worked with jeans for a trip to a museum and another time with a skirt to work.

Pretty lightweight with the crochet like weave in the arms. It's cute and would pair well with slim black pants (I wore it with jeans and thought it looked ok but probably better with pants). It's a slim fit and waist length- considering a lot of tops run long these days, this does NOT. Hit me right at the waist (size XS). Would probably not be a great choice if you have a long torso. I had to fold the sleeves back but I thought it looked cute with them folded so not a big deal.

I loved this sweater! The length of the sweater was perfect it hit the pockets on a pair of jeans which is great because I am not a huge fan of really short sweaters. The ruffle down the center is definitely great for hiding any problem areas as well as a distraction as the fabric moves around often. Definitely a fun Sunday with jeans option.

This top was soft and fit OK but not as flattering as I was hoping for. The ruffles on my belly fluttered with every slight breeze and made me feel like a sea anemone. And emphasized my belly.

Fits well, detail in person is far better then pictures can show. Simple, but a bit unique.

The sleeves add a nice pop to this classic black and white sweater. I thought the ruffles in the front would be too much but it works very well. Beware if you have larger arms as it might fit a little tight on you but there is some stretch to it. I wore this with grey slacks to break up the color and a long necklace that fell between the two ruffles. I would definitely recommend this!

This fit true to size and was very comfortable. Not itchy at all. I wore this with skinny blue jeans and boots and again with fitted jeans and cute Coach black/cream tennis shoes. It looked good with a fitted quilted jacket and an adorable plaid med length trench. This sweater added no more bulk than a thick T-shirt and had great textural interest with the low ruffle and more open woven knitting at the arms and back. I'd own this sweater.

Overall I love this sweater. Comfortable and lightweight, not itchy. Detailed and classy. The sleeve and center front panel are slightly more mesh-like but still modest (even without a cami). The size I thought ran slightly small and will rent in a larger size next time but it wasn't a problem.

The sweater is very cute and whimsical. You can easily dress it up or down.

I found this to run slightly small: the size S was a slim fit, the size M probably would have been a little roomier (like on the model). That said, the details of this sweater are adorable with the ruffle down the front and the lace-like pattern of the sleeves. It's still simple enough to function as a 'basic', but different enough to feel fun and fetch compliments. I had this for about a week with Unlimited and wore it several times - on a short flight, out to brunch, for a day of working, shopping with a friend - would be a great piece to own!

This sweater is super cute and comfortable. My husband called it my Seinfeld pirate shirt. It is fitted and hits just below the waist, very stretchy. It's also surprisingly warm for being a loose knit. I enjoyed wearing it!

Runs slightly small, I wear an XS in most items but sized up to a S for this one. Material is slightly stretchy so that helps. It's a nice top for work, the ruffles add a little something. But definitely not a standout piece.

The fit was nice, great style. The cream trim on the sweater i received was grimey - wouldnt rent again becuase of this.

I got an XS but I should have got a small. The sleeves were pretty tight. The sweater is a bit short so its best to wear it tucked into a skirt or with high rise jeans.

This was a really cute sweater to wear to work as it is starting to get warmer - it's lighter weight, but still a winter sweater. The ruffles on the front are adorable - it looks great with a pleated skirt and tights/boots!

Very comfy with Great details in the ruffle and sleeves. Sleeves and shoulders are slightly transparent, so I felt like I needed to wear a cami underneath for my conservative office. Cut of shirt is not very flattering from the side; so it might make you look like you have a belly pooch in the front. That didn't matter to me, so I enjoyed it.

I took my chances on the ruffles and much like the other reviewers mentioned, the ruffles are... intense. This would be great for someone who isn't very busty. Didn't end up wearing.

I am petite, no stomach, but this sweatshirt made me look like I had a front pouch. I think the ruffles going down and perhaps being used enough stretched it out? I never wore it cute concept but a no go.

The ruffles are not exactly the most flattering things. Fluttery ruffles down the front of a shirt wouldn't be so bad but these are white against black and really stand out. Otherwise it's comfortable and a nice quality.

I think in theory I liked this sweater. But I felt it looked to stodgy on me. That being said, it fits well and is a versatile style. I wore it with plum corduroys.

I'm 5'7' and this was way to short on me - I like a little length in tops but this didn't even touch my jeans.
