Simple yet unique and elegant, wore to work, to holidays events, out at night - was ideal for evrything and got compliments everywhere

I really loved the look and material of this dress, as well as the silhouette. I prefer my dresses/skirts to be at least knee length, especially for work, so this was perfect in that aspect. Unfortunately it was too tight to be able to button over my chest, and I had some issues with the buttons (which go the full length of the dress) gaping when I sat down. I wore a black slip of sorts underneath to cover this up, though I didn't realize until after the fact that it was a little bit sheer at my chest... I would definitely go up at least one size for full busted ladies. It's hard to see in pictures, but the dress is a gorgeous navy, with black embroidered dots and embellishments. I would rent this one again in a different size, and for a slightly less freezing time of year in Western NY!

Fit: it's on the long side, but as it buttons up the front it is open/slot at the bottom to maybe the knee giving it a little sex appeal. Generally fitted and not stretchy, if you are large at all in the bust maybe go up a size because the buttons will gap just a bit (I have zero chest and found this to be the case - I was happy enough with the size 0 to wear it three times but next time I rent it I will try the 2 if available). The color is beautiful - I'm not a big fan of navy but this color was rich and very flattering. The trim is exquisite and is in fact black which is great as it allows you to wear it with black accessories. I wore this with sexy heeled booties, with these brown prairie boots, with white trainers, so it's good for a versatile number of looks.

As soon as I put on the dress I knew it was a keeper. The fabric is so soft and the fit as well as style are perfect. You can roll the sleeves up or down and this style can be worn in the winter or spring.

This picture does not do this dress justice! I got compliments everywhere I went the day I wore it. Fit is smaller on the top with a fuller skirt. It's navy with black trim -- which I didn't realize from the picture. I will certainly rent this again.

I was able to wear the size 2 with a bralette. Any padding to the bra would have made it not possible to button up. I'm not sure how big a size up would have been but liked the fact that the size 2 was fitted. I love dresses I can wear without having to put on a sweater. This was perfect for a spring day.

Well-rounded prairie / boho chic dress that is comfortable and flattering; a great piece to throw on and go to most any function. Wore to brunch, Thanksgiving, casual evening out, daytime events and always got compliments on looking put together. Trim details and small felted polka dots are classy touches (although definitely are not as pronounced as what the professional photos show.)

I have liked all the Shoshanna dresses I've rented before so I figured I'd give this one a shot. It didn't do much for me, it fit ok (buttons all the way from top to bottom, material has no give) but the midi length was awkward on someone 5'1. I felt like I belonged in little house on the prairie.

Wore with booties, easy to wear for everyday but polished. Feminine, modest, and the best part is how it moves when you walk. Will rent again!

Very flattering, very comfortable. Easy dress for work or everyday. Looks better on than photos on RTR. Highly recommend if you have a small waist but large butt/thighs- actually fits perfectly! Don't be scared by the drop waist ruffle (like I usually am because of my shape)

I rented this dress for a funeral and it was perfect. The material is light weight, almost gauzy - but its double layered. I would label it conservative but modern. It is quite slimming even though it isn't super form fitting. The effect is smashing without screaming "look at me." It's tea length (which is always longer on me but still shows my ankles) and this looks good with nude open toed heels. A High heel is a must, as is red lipstick to finish the look.

This is an adorable dress that is extremely easy to wear. Received tons of compliments. It's a touch small in the shoulders, but not dramatically small.

I usually wear a 4 and I ordered a 6 just in case. Didn't even come close to buttoning over my chest. So if you're larger on top, size up maybe 2 sizes !

Thank God they didn't have my regular size and I took a chance with the size 6 because it fit perfectly. I wore this for three days straight and got so many compliments. The material is light but very beautiful. The detail is amazing. I'm definitely going to rent it again.

The dress appears to be small in the bust is proportion to the size at the waist. I am only a 36C with a 28-29 waist. There was room at the waist in this dress but is was slightly too tight at the bust, so busty ladies beware. Otherwise, the dress is classic and pretty, very feminine and perfect for cooler days.

Small in the bust as I had to wear a camisole underneath and with an A cup size buttons were tight. An, the length isn't so great, I'm tall and it wasn't the best length at neither closer to knees nor closer to ankles and mid-shin was just kind of weird. But material and design was great.

Very pretty longer dress with a good balance of pretty (very slightly prairie style fabric and details) and professional (navy, button down). This would be a great one with the right boots. However, it definitely runs small through he chest. My regular size 8 pulled at the buttons and needed dress tape and no raising my arms above my head. I'm a 34C, so middle of the road on chest size. This will probably be a nonstarter for someone busty.

This dress is comfortable but the bust is small. I wasn't able to wear a regular bra with it, and instead wore a bralette. If that's not an option for you, I would skip this dress altogether.

This dress was pretty, but ran small. I typically wear an 8 and was barely able to bottom the top by wearing a bra with no padding. The waist was fine.

Arrived in perfect condition. No snags or fuzzies! Fit great. Was worried it looked a little old world, but received many compliments on how adorable it was at work. Wore a bootie to give some height.

Super cute! It's so comfy too! I am usually a 0 but wore a 2. It was a little large but I can tell a 0 would have been too small. My only complaint is I wish it had one more button towards the bottom. It would open up when sitting making t a little more revealing when sitting

The dress and its quality were fine, if a little Prairie Jane for me. It fit perfectly in the waist and wouldn't button over the bust. I had to wear a slip underneath. The top buttons also came with a safety pin inserted between them so obviously the previous renter had the same issue. Overall, this isn't the type of special, fashion-forward piece for which I pay for RTR Unlimited. Highly skippable.

The top fits one size smaller than the rest of the dress. Very tight on top. Was unable to wear. I loved the look of dress in person. I was going to wear to calling hours. Would have been appropriate. I would rent again but size up.

Very cute, soft, and cozy - but gets a ton of compliments. Some reviews mentioned that it runs really small, but I found that it was true to size outside of the bust. If you are a C or above you should consider sizing up. Good for pear shapes because the bottom is flowy but the top is definitely better for small/narrow waists.
