I loved this dress!! The dress ran true to size. I probably could've worn a 2, but I wouldn't have had as much dancing room and the cap sleeves probably would've been tight. I ended up not wearing a bra with open back dilemma and there was enough boning in the dress for coverage, although that might not be the best option for women with bigger busts! It was great for a winter Charleston wedding and I got so many compliments!!

Fit well. 32c on the top and did not need to wear a bra at all. I bought a backless bra and actually took it off. I'm about 5'3" and it hit close to my knee. Great fall dress, thick material.

Loved this dress so much! It was perfect for the wedding I attended, paired with black pumps and some sparkly earrings. It was super comfy and great for dancing the entire night. Plus there are pockets!! I probably could have gotten away with no bra, but I ended up going with one of the stick=on ones. I wish I owned this! I would literally wear it all the time.

Loved this dress! I had a wedding one day by the beach and then flew out to a work event in the snow the next day, and this dress worked perfectly for both! Heels and a shawl for the sun, then black tights, booties and a cardigan for the snow. RTR wasn't able to send me a size 0, which probably would have been a little better, but the dress held its shape beautifully - flowing out at the waist and giving me some shape - without feeling stiff, so it didn't need to fit perfectly to look awesome. The fabric was thick and rich enough that I didn't have to wear a bra. The cherry on top was definitely the cutout in the back... super cute and added some flair while not being too risqué.

Super flattering cut, extremely comfortable and it has pockets!! I rented this as a backup for a wedding and felt it was a bit too casual, so ended up wearing it for a night out instead. Loved the dress and would definitely buy it. The material is great and it's one of the most comfortable dresses I've ever worn. The back is the best feature. Received a number of compliments throughout the night!

Loved this dress! It's so fun and playful! I'm 5'9 and was worried from pictures it was going to be too short but it was a perfect length! Very easy to dance in! I felt amazing in this dress and would definitely rent it again!

My shipment with selected dresses did not arrive in time for the wedding (delayed by 5 days due to a UPS sorting issue). The dresses I previously ordered were not in stock so one of the customer service reps told me to pick a few more dresses and call her back. She said the next group that I selected was not in stock and that she'd pick some for me and put them in my "hearts". She never did so I ended up frantically trying to find dresses that were in stock. This was my 8/10th choice of dress so I was pretty disappointed with my options but the dress was good quality and fit nicely, just looked kind of "young" for my taste since I'm 28. I got a couple of compliments but was overall really frustrated with the renting experience.

Used this dress for a work event. Appropriate length and professionalism for work. The dress had pockets which helped when carrying work items. The color was vibrant and the fit was true to size. I have thicker arms and noticed the cap sleeve worked well. All in all a solid choice for a curvier/athletic build.

Felt tailored, flattering around the waist and hit at a good place on the legs. Slight flair in the skirt, fabric had a nice weight.

I loved wearing this dress to my friend's birthday party. My usual size fit well. Because it is backless, I wore a sticky bra. I got a little chilly since it's November but otherwise it is a fabulous frock.

This fits tightly through the rib cage but flares out at natural waist. It was super flattering and did not seem too short even on my 5'10" frame. The cut of the dress helped hide some post baby problem areas I was still trying to downplay.

This dress was SO cute! I ordered a 2 and a 4 and ended up going with the 4- the 2 fit around my hips and waist, but since I am a little top heavy and big busted, it was too tight in the chest and arms. The fabric is gorgeous in person, and it is very comfortable. I wore it with a sticky bra, but I feel like most ladies could get away with not wearing a bra at all. I wish it were a couple inches shorter, but that's kind of my problem cuz I'm short. :)

The fabric is a little stiff, but it's a beautiful dress with brilliant colors. The sleeve was a little bit ripped when it arrived I assume because it was too snug on the last renter. I felt great in it all day and would totally wear again!

Was a bit worried about the length as i am close to 5ft9in, but it was ok. Maybe the 4 would have been a tad more comfortable, but the top was a bit loose, so i wore the 2. Since the waist is pretty high, it worked out ok. Got compliments galore, and one even said the dress looked Taylor Swift-ish (which i am going to take as a compliment). It is a super fun dress, which you can dress up or down.

maybe my favorite rental ever. the length and fit in the front were perfect for the semi-formal wedding we went to, but the cutout back detail is showy enough to make it more exciting and cool. got compliments all night. fit was spot on--i probably could have used the size down just because i'm pretty flat chested but it was nice that the cutout didn't dig into my skin--it hit at the exact right smallest point of my waist. was sad to give it back and that i didn't take more photos!

This dress was so gorgeous. I wore a black front close bra with it which worked really well. The open back goes down to just above the waste so it doesn't show too much. The pattern, style and cut were great.

Would highly recommend this dress. The front top has some structure/wiring that makes it easy to go bra-less. Pockets were a nice bonus and they were a good depth (danced all night with my phone in my pocket and never lost it). The pictures make it seem pretty short but it was actually the perfect length for a wedding hitting just above the knee. And obviously the back is very fun and very flattering.

Rented this for a graduation at which I had to speak. Wore the 8 but should have worn the 6 (in my delirium in the morning I grabbed the wrong size). But the 8 was great too. It was comfortable, easy, as cute walking in as it was walking out. A not too short length, too, which can be hard to find. Pockets were big enough to swallow my phone, and pattern and weight of material would hid if you opted to go bra-less (I opted for a stick-on.) Would buy this if I could!

I absolutely loved this Shoshana dress. It was the perfect choice for the drinks and dinner party we attended for my husband's MBA Alumni weekend. The fit was great, I loved the open back - it added an element of sass to an otherwise conservative dress. Pockets - always a win, but the brightness and boldness dog the color and pattern was what won me over. I hate to turn it back in, it is perfect!

This was my favorite rental yet! All of the details (pattern, pockets, amazing back, cut) made the dress so flattering! I felt confident and great the whole night. The wedding I rented this for was in the spring, but I can definitely see this being worn in the fall and winter as well!

I have a shorter torso and ordered a size too big so the back hung open a little bit. I can't hold that against the dress thoug. I loved wearing this dress around town. It added a big dose of sophistication to my casual days off routine. My fiancé loved it, it added just the right amount of heat to our picnic date.

I rented this dress for my friend's rehearsal dinner, the dress was fun and easy to wear. It's backless so it definitely needs a backless bra, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something affordable and fun to wear for a wedding or rehearsal. I wore this to a bridal shower. I wore the 8 because the 6 had a rip in the sleeve. The 6 felt better but both looked great. I was worried that the cap sleeves may be too tight but they were not. I was also worried that it would be too short but it was a perfect length (I'm 5'10).This dress was super comfy and had pockets which is always a plus. I would size up for your backup size.

I usually wear a 2, but I read reviews that this dress sometimes runs large, so I ordered a 4 too. After trying them both on, I found that it was pretty true to size. The pattern made me feel unique and myself! I've never received more compliments in my life. The open back and pockets were definitely the cherry on top!

The overall fit was pretty true to size. There isn't much give in the waist but the 10 fit just fine and didn't pucker on the back like the 8 did. I'm a little larger chested but didn't need a bra as the dress has some built in boning for support. It was a mountain wedding in October so I ended up wearing tights with it but the dress would look great any time of the year with or without tights. It was also very comfortable and could dance all night. And the pockets were the cherry on top. I would 100% rent this again and wish I had it permanently in my closet!

I loved this dress! It hit me at the knees because I'm only 5'3" but I was more comfortable that way. I received tons of compliments while wearing this dress. The bottom half is puffy which gives it a classic and vintage feel. Plus, it has POCKETS. I wanted to keep this dress.

I loved this dress. I wore it to my boyfriends family's thanksgiving which I was very nervous about. I paired it with this necklace and I loved everything. The dress had pockets which helped my nervous hands. The cap sleeves are adorable. The print is so pretty and unique without being too loud. The material is thick and the waistband really highlighted my waist. It hit exactly at my knees which was great because I was worried about it being short. The open back was sassy but not too sexy.
