Such a cute and flattering dress! I felt so good in it. Highly recommend!

Overall, it was a 5 star dress for me. The fabric is thick and beautiful and the pockets were so great....I didn't bring a handbag! With such a sturdy skirt, I could really load up the pockets and it didn't affect the look at all. The back was SO pretty and I️ got a ton of compliments. Here's the only odd aspect to this dress: it is BIG on top. I️ am a D cup, athletic hourglass build. Even I didn't 100% fill out the top of the 8! That said, if you struggle because you're well endowed and dresses are often tight up top, I bet this will be your dream rental. All in all, it was an awesome experience for my first rental.

I rented this dress for a law school formal. The fabric is a thick brocade in a fun print, and the back makes the dress. I styled with black heels, updo, simple makeup, and statement earrings. For those of you who also dislike carrying clutches at formal events, I have one word for you: pockets. The dress runs large, so I would recommend sizing down; even my size 2 backup was a little roomy. I would also recommend picking up some fashion tape to make sure the bust darts and back straps stay in place.

The dress was perfect for a cocktail reception for a black tie wedding. The fabric is thicker than I anticipated, which might get hot if you are standing out in the heat, but it was fine for me. The thickness added to this really cute silhouette. I was tempted to keep it. I have a small bust, so I can't speak to the fit if you have a fuller one.

I loved the dress and it was fine without a bra. The bodice flares out more than you might expect—it still worked for me but I am guessing some women may want to pin that area for modesty. Back is gorgeous.

This dress is one of my favorites from RTR because: It has pockets. It was very flattering - fitted on top, but flared for comfort on the bottom. Easy to sit down in and plenty of movement when dancing. It has a very unique and striking back. It's formal - LBD esque, but the pattern is eye catching. I wore this with a backless bra, but the material is a sturdy type that wouldn't require a bra. I also liked that it didn't require much jewelry wise to look dressed up. Rent this dress!

I loved this dress so much, the fabric has a great weight to it, the back keeps it looking fun and sexy, and it got compliments all evening! Ended up buying it and I can't wait to wear it again and again. Plus no bra required! Boning in the bodice and a strip of fashion tape on each side kept it perfectly in place all day.

Fit true to size, the fabric felt really nice and photographed well.

This dress was perfect for my event- I needed something more conservative for the bar mitzvah ceremony (I wore a sweater in the synagogue), but still wanted a dress that was fun for a party. The back of the dress was super fun! It was a little big in the chest (34A), but I thought the thick fabric and the structure of the dress hid that pretty well. I didn't wear a bra. It was a super fun and comfortable dress to wear!

This dress was extremely flattering. I was able to size down to a 8 (normally a 12P / 10) It was a little tight, but they didn't have the 10 in stock. I loved the back of this dress and the pockets! I have an hourglass figure and it was nice not to wear spanx for a formal affair. I wore this to a fundraiser - some women were in ball gowns, others in cocktail dresses. This was the perfect mix. Would recommend this dress - and basically any Shoshanna dress. She really knows how to dress a woman!

I loved this dress! I wore it to a charity event and thought it was the right amount of conservative and sexy with the open back. It was a little tight around the waist but the 6 still fit better than the 8. I've gained some weight recently so I was happy the 6 fit best! I loved the pockets and thought it was super flattering especially in the tummy. It has an almost 50's vibe to it with the hourglass shape it created.

I wore this dress for a charity auction and received so many compliments! I especially love the back and the pockets! I found the fit good / TTS overall except tight around the waist. Fortunately it zipped! I am usually a size 2 in pants and medium in tops, and I wore the size 4. I wished I had ordered the 6 for a little bit more comfortable fit, but great dress overall.

I normally wear a size 6, but have a large bust (34DDD) so I'm used to sizing up. However, I definitely wish I had gone down to a 4 for my back up size. I didn't completely fill out the bust area and pinned the sides of the dress to prevent gaps under my arms. Otherwise the dress was great! The style was fun yet classy. Loved loved loved the open back! The material was thick but still comfortable and easy to dance in.

Runs large. Could have gotten away with a size 4, words I haven't uttered since high school. Plenty of room in the bust, also words I haven't said in a long time (32DD and wasn't constricted at all). One issue was the back enclosure came undone a few times, and the hooks and eyes were a little unwieldy, but still about as perfect as a dress can get.

The material was thick and I didn't need a bra. The top gaped a bit on the side but i just pinned it in and you couldn't tell.

I loved this dress. I actually rented it for a family Bar Mitzvah and then rented again for the Tony Awards. Really loved the cut and the fit. One of my best RTR experiences!

My first RTR dress and it did not disappoint. It was classy , the perfect length and the right amount of glam for NY. Highly recommend for any body type as it covers all of your lady lumps. Major plus I was able to fit my phone in the pockets !!! Thanks RTR you will definitely hear from me again .

Fit perfectly. Wore with a NuBra and that was fine - could have gotten away without a bra because it was well structured but I felt more comfortable with something. Stayed clasped and in place all night. Loved this dress and would rent again!

I normally wear size 4-6 and with the reviews provided went with the 2 which worked out perfectly. Loved the pockets too!!

I ordered a size down after reading the reviews and it still fit a little loose but looked good and was comfortable. Thick fabric and boning meant no bra was necessary which was a plus with the open back (I have a med-largish chest and almost always need a bra for support). Heavy fabric was appropriate for a fall-winter wedding with tights and a shawl. Very happy with the look.

This dress pulled you in where you needed to be. No bra needed and was still totally comfortable. Great length for a 30 something who dances non-stop at weddings. Open back made it business in the front and party in the back. I had a itty baby bump and it hid it perfectly.

The fabric of this dress is absolutely gorgeous. The dress is extremely well made with beautiful details throughout. I especially loved the ric-rac edging, open back, and POCKETS. It was easy to dance in and I received compliments on the dress throughout the evening. The only thing I would note about sizing is that it runs about 1 size large. I almost always wear a size 4 and wore the size 2 for this dress. This dress is also meant for ladies bustier than myself. I am a 32-B and the bust of the dress was gaping on me. The pattern disguised this enough that it was still wearable, but it's definitely meant for ladies with larger breasts.

I wore this dress for a very fancy wedding I attended. I received soooo many compliments! Beautiful material that was flattering to my figure. The top fit a little loose in the chest area but nothing that was noticeable. Was able to wear a silicone stick on bra so the open back didn't get ruined with a regular bra sticking out. Comfortable to dance in. Absolutely loved the black and gold combo. Great dress for any type of formal event.

I was in a rush so I picked this dress up from the store, where my size wasn't available. It runs large and you'll need a sticky bra as the back is completely open. I normally wear size 6 and I would have needed a 4 or even a 2. I'm wearing a size 0 in this picture- and it was a very tight squeeze in there! The shape, cut and fabric are beautiful though.

Beautiful dress, with a nice cut through the neck and shoulders. Loved the pockets and print with the loose fit through the hips. I loved this dress, but the top was a bit loose, and I'm a 32F so if I was feeling that I'm sure others would feel it too. I was a bit surprised that it wasn't a better fit and would recommend sizing down to others. If I could have fastened the back straps together it would have kept the top more secure, but I couldn't figure out a way to make that work. Lots of compliments, fun to wear.

Wore this to a wedding in Sweden and I thought it would be a nice cool summer day but it ended up being close to 90 degrees. The dress was beautiful but too thick for the heat. It had pockets which were awesome and the back was stunning. One other thing I didn't like is that it smelled badly when I got it. Had to air it out.

This dress runs small! I haven't worn a size 2 in at least 10 years, but probably could have even gone down to a zero in this dress. I wore it to a black tie optional wedding in Chicago in October and was perfectly dressed. The length and beautiful gold in the material really made it special. The back was so fun! I could have gone without a bra, but felt more comfortable with a stick on bra. It doesn't look that flattering in any of the pictures I had from the night, but in person it was great.

I can wear a 2, 4 or 6 in some cases. Rented the 4 as my main dress size, and selected a 2 as the back-up. The 4 was too big, so i'm glad I chose to size down. 2 was a little snug, but overall fit great.

I loved this dress! I️ rented this for a more formal wedding and the vibe was perfect. It was a little longer than expected (it hit at my knees and I'm 5' 10") but the open back was a showstopper. Would definitely recommend!

This dress was amazing for a late October wedding. I am very much pear shaped so the bottom of the dress was very roomy and comfortable. The top was slightly large and I did not fill it out. I probably could have worn the 0 as well but I only ordered a 2/4. No one else noticed this though but me. Overall amazing dress!

The dress was a success and I received loads of compliments. The back is killer on this dress. It does run big so I would suggest sizing down from one's usual size. Like other reviewers have said, it did arrive clean but smelled like cigarette smoke which was quickly cured with Febreze and an airing out. The hooks and eyes were also a bit bent, but all was secure for the night. Loved it.

This dress was amazing. Little big, I usually wear a 4 or 2 but based on reviews I ordered the 0 and it was only a little tight in some spots. The fabric was quality thick and a stunning pattern. Wore with regular underwear but no bra. Hit just below the knees on 5'3". Pockets were fun and didn't stick out. Clasps were difficult to close however.
