Super comfortable option for a fall Black Tie Optional Wedding in Atlanta. I also rented the Cobalt Kendra Scott earrings, and they were perfect. I received tons of compliments...from women and men.

I was worried about the size 4 (my normal size) because of reviews saying it was tight. They're right there's no stretch but if you're being honest you will be fine. I'm 5'7" and wore a small 1.5" heel that left the 4L just skimming the floor. Obviously I got tons of compliments!!!

I wore this skirt to an Indian wedding in September. It was perfect for the occasion! The fit at the waist is pretty tight, so I'd recommend sizing up if you're between sizes. I also used hem tape to hem the skirt (and wore 2.5 inch heels). I wasn't a fan of the matching black top, so I ordered a blue crop top online. Loved pairing a blue top with the skirt because it really makes the colors pop!

I highly recommend this wonderful skirt. I paired it with an American apparel onesie, which really let the skirt shine. Two notes... the waist had almost no give in it so make sure to size up if you are in between sizes. I am 5'8", and the skirt was about an inch too short for me. That said it worked out well since it was raining the night I wore it.

I've been wanting to rent this skirt forever and finally had an event to go to. I wore this to my husband's holiday work party. I received a ton of compliments. It fit snug on my natural waist, which helped with length. I did have to use hem tape because it was still an inch or so too long, even with 3 or 4 inch heels. The material and cut made it very easy to temporarily hem. I loved this skirt so much I wanted to buy it. I paired it with a leather jacket for a little edge. Amazing rental!

I needed something formal and floor length for one of my best friend's Mehndi Friday night. This skirt worked perfectly and I had so many people coming up to me asking where I got it from! At first I thought the sparkly stripe was copper, but it is more of a subtle iridescent rainbow. Beautiful! I paired it with a simple black body suit so I didn't have to worry about showing my midriff or coming untucked. Also, deep pockets are a huge plus!

I wore this skirt for a wedding in November. The wedding invitation asked for cocktail attire, but the venue was chilly, so I was glad to have a long skirt! I paired it with a simple black top and gold jewelry. I wish the skirt was available in 10L, because the 10R fit better in the waist for me, but was way to short, even with flats (I'm 5'10"). I wore the 8L, which was a little tight, but had enough length to wear with heels. The pockets in the skirt were a fun touch!

Wore this to officiate my cousin's wedding and was told that this skirt was so classy and beautiful that it made me look like I knew what I was doing. :) Bonus: It has pockets, which came in handy for tissues for everyone at the altar! As a shorty, I usually strike out with long skirts, but this length was totally manageable with heeled booties and, in fact, I liked the way it fell better when hitting the floor rather than when I tried to hem and inch off with fashion tape. Great, heavy fabric for a beautifully structured look. Tons of compliments and very comfortable! No stretch at the waist, so plan your sizing (and how much you eat!) accordingly.

Great skirt with pockets! I rented the 4L and it was just long enough and I wore it with flats. If I was any taller it would have been too short! Incredibly light weight and flows well. Wore a black crop top from H&M that tucked right into the skirt! It was stunning and received compliments all night!!

I was originally thinking of a sleek fitted formal dress for a party, but it was too hot and I needed something to feel comfortable in. The skirt and the matching crop top came through. It was light, comfortable and photographs really well.

I normally wear a 10 and it was a perfect fit, not too tight, so I didn't feel uncomfortable. It is long though, even with heels I felt like I had to be careful not to trip over it

I got the 8 long; fit perfectly in the waist, and just grazed the floor (no heels.) I'm 6 foot - anyone shorter than that I would recommend the regular length. Gorgeous skirt - I got compliments all night!

Probably could have gotten a Long as in my heels the skirt was a little shorter but it wasn't noticeable at all. The skirt was so comfortable and super fun for this wedding!

I loved this skirt! I wore it to a NYE wedding at it truly stood out among a sea of sequin dresses and sparkles. I received compliments all night and would recommend this skirt to anyone. I paired it with a simple black, off the shoulder top and basic jewelry. It fit true to size and was comfortable. It is important to note that the waist has no give so if you are concerned possibly size up. This was my first RTR and it was definitely a great experience!

Delivery was on time and came in a gorgeous garment bag. The whole outfit worked perfectly and I received so many compliments all night. The shirt even has pockets! I'm 5'6 3/4 and wore 3in heels and the shirt fell perfectly to the floor. I will defiantly use Rent the Runway again

This by far has been my favorite rental to date!! I felt amazing in it!! It is so comfortable yet so fancy! The colors are so vibrant and you definitely stand out in the crowd. I have always gotten so many compliments on the dresses I have rented but this one took the cake. Everywhere I turned someone was telling me how much they loved the dress. I rented the 6R and 8L and went with the 6. I'm about 5'8 and 135 lbs. Both would have worked I just like the way the 6 fit a tad better.

A fabulously chic option for your next black tie event. This Shoshanna skirt runs true to size with no stretch in the fabric. For backup, we recommend sizing up as the high-waisted top fits more snug at the natural waist. My typical size 2 fit perfectly and was comfortable, yet stayed up at the waist. Pair with Shoshanna's Jasmine top to complete the look.

I wore this dress for a "Halloween" themed wedding where guests were asked to wear either formal attire or elegant costumes. When I saw this outfit, I was hooked. The color scheme was perfect for the Halloween theme and elegant, yet playful. I received compliments all night and continue to as people see pictures from the evening. I have a very solid, athletic build, so I get nervous when trying to pick sizes. I typically wear a size 2 and the 2R fit my waist perfectly. The downfall to this skirt is that it is extremely long. Granted, I am not a tall girl, but even in my highest heels, the length was almost too long, making the whole walking thing a bit tricky depending on what kind of ground was beneath me (we had everything from gravel and sand to wooden planks at the venue). But at the end of the day, I loved this outfit and would absolutely recommend it!

I loved this skirt. I rented it for our company Christmas party and it was so much fun. The length was great, and I was able to wear a short 2" heel with it. The material was beautiful and felt high end.

It was great for an up north rehearsal dinner. I was able to wear cold wear underneath and still look stylish.

Hello...this maxi skirt is the perfect way to add sass to black tie. I rented this with my unlimited for a "creative black tie" affair. I had many people stop me to ask about it and claimed it was their favorite outfit of the night. I didn't give it 5 stars only because the long was still too short on me. I had to make some temporary adjustments to ensure it was long enough for me. Keep in mind I'm 6 ft tall though so if you are under 5'10 you will be perfect with some heels and the long length. If it weren't for that length issue I absolutely would have kept this skirt forever!

I did not get to wear this skirt. It was way too big for me. I have large hips but a small natural waist so when I pulled the skirt up to where it should be worn, it didn't work. The skirt hung too low. Where the skirt hit on my waist didn't bother me too much but unfortunately the skirt itself was not long enough. I am tall and based on other reviews saying the skirt was super long, I was hoping it would work. I needed about 3" more material on the bottom to have been comfortable wearing it.

The skirt is beautiful in person and I received many compliments throughout the night. This was my first RTR purchase and I needed something for my company Christmas party and this skirt did the trick. I ordered a 2R and a 4R, I should've did the 4R and 6R though due to the waist being extremely small with no stretch. If you are shaped like a box on your torso opt for the bigger sizes. I usually wear a 2 but I barely got into the 4R, still have the pressure marks under my ribs. This skirt sits high right under your ribs and if you have a naturally small waist then you will have no issue with the size of the skirt and it will be true to size. The length was just fine for me and I am 5'3", of course I have a short torso and long legs. I wore maybe 2" heels and the skirt did not touch the floor. Overall a great skirt for the holidays!

My normal dress size is a 4 and my normal pant size is a 2. I absolutely needed the 6. The top of the skirt hits about one inch above the belly button. I wish the waistband had some give but there was none. This skirt was nice for a different look at a black tie event however it was way too hot for dancing so I would only rent again for a non dancing affair. The skirt was quite long, I wore 2 inch heels and still needed to hold up the skirt when walking around. (I'm 5'5")

This is a high-waisted skirt I am tall but I would say it is comfortable. I would recommend high heels, statement earrings with a low-cut top. :)

This skirt is amazing! So fun, comfortable, and easy. I wore it with a simple silk spaghetti strap tank top. I'm 5'8 and rented a 4L, it skimmed the floor with me wearing ballet flats so I'm not sure this dress would work for anyone much taller.

It was a little on the hot side for Miami, but it looked good so who cares?

The length was perfect, and the skirt sits right at the waist ideally but I am on the (very) slim side and needed to pull it in tighter to ensure it stayed up, which it did all night. Pockets are so useful and look great in pictures. I got compliments on my outfit all night long, and would totally wear this again!

The waist was a bit large but it was too pretty to pass. Definitely need heels to wear this.

Very bright and gorgeous material. I ordered the 6 and the 8 and the 8 definitely felt better on and hung better on me. I am 5'6 and the R was plenty long enough with a small kitten heel.
