I usually wear a 6 - even in other dresses from this brand - but based on reviews I ordered an 8 just in case. I'm glad I did - the 6 fit but was really tight in the sleeves. The 8 left a lot more room. I got tons of compliments all night. An added plus- this dress has pockets!

I wore the 4 but could have comfortably gone to the 6. Beautiful red dress. I don't usually wear red but was fun to rent.

This was a great dress for the holidays! I was able to wear it to a holiday party and an awards ceremony. It is perfect for a petite hourglass shape- very flattering and comfortable. The color was a vivid red- like Mac Lady Danger or BeautyCounter Girls Night lipstick! The lace was soft. Has bracelet length sleeves. Simple nude bra worked well. Overall a great easy rental.

Wore for a holiday party and felt really good in it. The waist was a little bit tight, but everything else fit perfect, including the sleeves. The lace is really beautiful and the red color is really bold and was perfect for Christmas. The skirt is short (and I'm short to begin with), so I wore flats since I was going to be on my feet all night anyway, and I think the proportions worked well.

Loved this dress for the holiday time. It's a beautiful red and the lace is so pretty. I was prepared for this (since I'd read it in other reviews), but if you have muscular arms beware...the sleeves can be tight and don't have a ton of give. I wore the dress for a dinner/date and was glad it wasn't for some event where dancing was involved (I would have been scared to raise my arms over my head!). That said, I'd definitely rent this dress again!

I wore this dress for a work holiday party and loved it! The color was bright and cheery - definitely perfect for some jingle bells and rockin around the Christmas tree. I received lots of compliments throughout the night. The only thing that was slightly bothersome were the sleeves because they were snug in the shoulders and upper arms. However, the fabric started to mold and stretch a bit as the night went on, so I was comfortable dancing and giving hugs to friends/coworkers. The material was not scratchy at all. Great dress!!

Such an amazing dress! Teensy bit tight in the shoulders but once it was on it felt great! Love love love love love.

Dress was fabulous color and can be dressed up for down. I wore with booties for a more casual look which was perfect for the cooler January occasion. Would definitely rent again and wish I could purchase.

Fit: I did fit into the smaller size since this dress comes in at the waist, but knew that I would be eating and drinking a lot that night (NYE) so wore the 12 for a little more room. The sleeves fit well and were a good length even for my shorter arms. Where the dress comes in does make your hips look a little wider/doesn't hide wider hips - it still looked good but something I noticed. Material: Fabric felt and looked great. The overall lace got a ton of compliments while the under layer gave enough coverage in all the appropriate places. I was able to wear a nude bra with straps and they didn't show at all. Color was fantastic - a bright red that stood out among a lot of darker, winter colors. Length: I'm 5'4" and this dress hit perfectly above the knee. I did wear it with tights because of the cold weather but even without tights, the length would have worked well and looked appropriate. Overall: Loved this dress and received a lot of compliments. It was a perfect New Years dress as it was something different and worked really well for the weather.

Another knock-out by Shoshanna. This was actually a back-up dress selected by RTR for me since my original selection was not available, but boy am I glad I got this one instead! The lace is substantial without being hot or heavy, and the color is a bright, true red. The 2 fit me a little loose around the waist, but I was honestly glad I didn't have to suck in, plus I had room for dessert! Unlike some reviewers, I had no problem with the sleeves--they were just right on my average-for-my-weight sized arms. I got a lot of compliments, and my husband thought it was pretty (and he rarely comments on my clothes). I would definitely get this dress again for an event!

Perfect fit! Runs true to size! I didnt even need to wear a bra just ised alittle tape or covers. Received compliments all night. The pockets were great to carry around those extras.

I had a baby in May and have been unsure of my body since. The last dress i rented in September didnt fit because of my bust size. This dress work well for a large bust! Read the reviews carefully. Received alot of compliments.

I wore this dress to dinner for my first wedding anniversary. I loved this dress and it was so comfortable was well. The red color runs a little more to the orange side than neutral, and the dress may be a little short in the back for tall girls.

Wore this to a family dinner celebrating our upcoming wedding. In Chinese culture, brides wear red so this was a perfect way to honor that tradition! The sleeves have very little give. I am normally between a 2 and 4 and went with the 2 and it was fine albeit a tad tight. The zipper feels like it's going to break but it was fine even after tugging at it pretty hard. The length is a tad short, but not inappropriate even at 5'8". I wore a strapless bra but a regular bra would probably work too. Would highly recommend this dress for a major pop of color at any event!

This was a wonderful choice for a cocktail party. I usually don't wear red, so renting was the perfect way to try it out! Based on reviews, it is a good idea to size up for a back up. I'm usually a 10 but the lace sleeves do not have much give. The 12 was a looser fit in the arms and waist. And the pockets were the cherry on top of this beautiful dress!

Dress was a perfect fit. I am typically a 2-4 and wore the 2 comfortably. The 4 was a little big in the bust/waist for me. When I first put the dress on the lace on the arms felt a little snug but after about 5 minutes I did not feel constricted.

A very bright and red lace dress. Perfect for the holidays; pairs well with tights. Pretty restrictive in the arms though so don't plan on lifting your arms through the night!

I loved everything about this dress! I felt so comfortable and confident! Many compliments were received! It is so incredibly classy yet sexy and flirty! The lace is impeccable and color stunning almost poppy red. Have to see in person! I was a bit nervous about choosing sizes. The last size dress j wore was a 12 andMy husband and I had our daughter 6 months ago and I'm 28 lbs less than PRE pregnancy weight! All I did was use a fabric measuring tape and chose the appropriate match. Fit like a glove! *strapless bra needed! I wore nude Nude, pointed toe pumps were worn. Minimalist jewelry was worn 1/2 carat diamond earrings and wedding jewelry!

This is probably my all-time favorite RTR purchase. Rented it for a rehearsal dinner and couldn't have been happier. It fit perfectly, was comfortable and the red really popped. The lace is nice and lightweight so you don't feel constricted at all.

This was my first rental so I tried it for a school event where I needed to be conservative. I also wanted a pop of color and fun so the red and lace did just that. You can wear any nude toned bra and it doesn't show through the lace if at all. The sleeves were a little stiff due to the lace, but I was still able to move around and even dance comfortably. The pockets are the best part! Although it was clean when I received my package, it still needed a quick light ironing to hang properly. I highly suggest doing that so it looks nice.

I love this dress! Rented for our fall family pictures. This dress made wearing red my new favorite! The color is beautiful! I chose to wear with a nude heal. The look was classic and elegant but really fun and flirty too. Was so glad I had the 12 as a back up. 10 was just a little too snug and I felt it emphasized my tummy due to the high waste. Dress was in great condition. I will rent this look again. Perfect for fall or summer!

The dress is a very true bright red, you'll stand out from the color alone! I wore this to a wedding rehearsal dinner and I received many compliments. The dress was very comfortable, the zipper was a bit stiff (even after rubbing a bar of soap over it as RTR suggests). The arms are a little snug, but I only noticed this as I was trying to zip the zipper myself with my arms over my head.

I rented this dress for my daughter's baptism. This was my second choice because the one I initially wanted was unavailable :( I waited too long to rent! However, I was not disappointed. I loved the dress! The color is beautiful, the dress is comfortable and I received a lot of compliments. I just had a baby 3 months ago and was not ready to wear anything body hugging. This dress was perfect and flattering! Also, I hate wearing strapless bras so I wore a nude strapped bra and it was fine. Since my hair is long, it hid the straps. The only issue I had was the zipper. It was sticking a bit so it took effort to pull up and down. This was my first rental and will not be my last!!!

I fell head over heels for this dress. I wish I could wear it everyday. The dress is a perfect combination of sexy and modest, it has a forgiving skirt and the neckline is appropriate while the lace and color is phenomenal! I wore this to a rehersal dinner, and felt bold and gorgeous. I wore the 6 and it fit like a glove, my only complaont was that the crease of my arms began to get irritated by the lace, but it was worth it. Rent this dress!

Fit was true to size. Zipped up easily, lace detail was beautiful. Comfortable all day (even chasing around my 2 kids - ages 1 & 4). Only drawback was it was a little hot but it was a muggy/humid day with a brief outdoor ceremony. Once inside it was great so I'd recommend for winter wedding.

Fit perfectly. I ordered a 12 just in case the 10 ran small (I normally wear a 10) but it runs true to size.
