What I love about this dress is the floral print and material. It's breezy, soft, and super comfortable. It definitely runs large as I was swimming in the size 2R. I would recommend sizing down 1-2 sizes especially if you have a smaller frame/bust. It's slightly fitted at the waist and has no stretch to the fabric as it's silk. You definitely need a bra with this style because of the light material. I'd go with a strapless, racerback, or NuBra. Great for a summer event! Pair with a statement necklace or earrings.

I wore this dress for a small, casual backyard wedding. I absolutely loved this dress and actually wish I could have kept it. I will definitely rent it again. I received a ton of compliments. It was light, breezy but just dressy enough. As others said the dress runs on the larger size but I think that is more the way it is supposed to fit. I could have worn the 4 or the 6 but the 4 fit slightly better in the rib cage. At 5'9" the dress grazed the ground with flats and was perfect.

This is a beautiful dress. It photographed really well and the colors were super vibrant. The fit was perfect aside from the fact that it was a little long for flats, and too short for wedges (3 inches). I will say that the dress looks different in person than in the pictures, but it really does look beautiful in photos.

I wore this dress for my sisters welcome party and rehearsal dinner in Chatham, MA in June. As usual on Cape Cod, the weather was chilly (50s during the day) with high winds. Knowing the event was on the water and anticipating the temp, I wanted to wear something long to keep a bit covered up and avoid being cold or having to cover a pretty dress wrapped in a sweater or shawl. As many others commented, this dress did run fairly large and is long. I'm 5'6 and wore a sold 3 inch heel and it just lightly wisped the ground, perfection. I'm an athletic pair shape with a very small waist/upper body and a KimK style lower body. I ordered a 2 and a 4 and there wasn't much difference that I noticed between the sizes except the waist was more fitted on the 2, which I appreciated and found it just a bit more flattering. I intended on wearing a stretch navy belt with a multicolored broach clasp, but actually forgot it and loved the dress just as much. Multiple people pulled me aside to compliment the dress and I could not have been more comfortable as I greeted guests and socialized well into the evening. Added a pair of turquoise/gold drop earrings and gold bangles to complete the outfit.

The fit was a little too tight for comfort in the chest/bust in the 2R, so I ended up wearing the 4R with a medium height heel and everything was perfect! Really liked being able to wear a comfortable normal bra with it and there were bra hooks at the shoulders so no straps could slip! Definitely recommend, the silk fabric is really nice and it's lined so you don't have to worry about panty lines. I've used RTR for almost 5 years and this was hands down my #1 favorite rental!

I loved this dress. The material is airy and light. Perfect for dancing. I do recommend wedges or heels, falls a little long with flats or sandals. The best part was the hidden pockets! If you have broad shoulders like me it does fit snug in that area, but wasn't uncomfortable. Highly recommend renting the statement necklace the model wears. They pair amazing together, received many compliments!

Rented this for my daughter's reception. They were married at Justice of the Peace day before. Wore different dress for that. They wanted a rustic wedding. Invitation read "flip flops encouraged" however, it was at a very nice venue. I never wear dresses so wasn't sure what size to wear. I have broad shoulders and a larger bust, so the 12 was better than the 10. Customer Service was really helpful.. The dress is more vibrant in person and I bought the blue shoes but had a crisis of conscious and wore vegan flip flops as requested. Hem taped by a seamstress as it was a 1/4 inch long with the 3 inch heels that I didn't wear. A beautiful dress everyone commented on how great I looked. (hadn't seen many of them in 30+ years) Great dress and glad I rented it.

Thanks to the other reviews and fit information, I changed my backup size from a size up to a size down and it fit like a glove. I am about 5'8 and wore flat sandals with this dress...they worked perfectly. I probably could have gotten away with a small heel but the beauty of a long dress for me is that I can wear flats and be comfortable all night.

I wear a 10 or a 12 LONG, depending on the item. I ended up wearing the 10 the night of the event and it fit great. I have a large chest and am very tall - both body parts were accommodated well in this dress. The 12 was definitely longer but the 10 was fine for me at 5'9.5. The material was so comfortable and flowy ( I didn't even steam the dress upon arrival). I am very conscious of my body and didn't feel like I was having to suck it in or be careful about the way I was standing at any point. I loved having pockets and being able to wear a bra. The colors are gorgeous and vibrant - perfect for a spring wedding but I would honestly wear this dress all year round.

Dress is very long. I am very tall and it was skirting the floor. I would not recommend for a shorter customer. The maxi silo is super flattering and the dress has pockets too which is a favorite of mine.

When I first arrived at the gala I was attending, I think I had about 3 compliments before I had time to grab a drink. The 4R fit me as well, but I have a slightly larger back and arms (it was a little tight there), so I went for the comfort of the 6R. Great dress!!!

I initially was worried about the fit and fabric of the dress but I was so comfortable and looked beautiful! The colors were very bright and it was a soft silky fabric. The zipper goes down far and it's easy to fit into. I wore sandles with it and had no problem with it being too long but it would work with heels! I got compliments all night. I was also able to wear a normal bra with it and there were no issues with the straps or anything like that.

Pros... The fabric is amazingly luxe, it's silk and feels like butter, but not so precious that it'll snag on everything. The print is really pretty, with tons of different shades to pull from to accessorize (I wore my rented cobalt Botkier bag) and the length was perfect on me. I'm 5'7" and wore 2" heeled sandals and it barely grazed the floor. It would be a little short if I wore tall heels and would drag if I wore flats, so it's kind of in a funny area. Cons... The only real con I can think of is that the dress would be slightly more shapely if the waistline was raised by a couple of inches, to sit at my natural waist. It's still a very forgiving and flattering dress. I wore it to work and received soooo many compliments, and also posted it on my blog, dressedfortime.com. I would definitely rent it in the future for an outdoor party or daytime event.

Perfect dress for a garden party. Being petite, I did have to wear wedge sandals and belt it so that I could cinch in the waist a bit and shorten the dress a bit more. In addition to the great feel, vibrant print (I love paisley print), and lightness of the dress - it has pockets!!! a big plus in my book. It worked well as a day-to-evening dress as well.

Such a great dress. I wore it a wedding that had a dress code of "colorful cocktail" and this was perfect! It fit me great but might have even been able to do a size smaller. I got tons of compliments all night. I'd definitely rent this again!

i wore this for my high school graduation party and it perfectly fit the occasion! i'm pretty tall, so it was a little short on my (didn't touch the floor), but otherwise worked pretty well. i paired it with a thin leather belt and a teal sweater for outside. overall, the fit ran true to size, but i am pretty busty so it was tighter on top and didn't make my shoulders look great. idk maybe my own insecurities, but otherwise i loved it! cute pattern, and i would definitely recommend. <3.

I'm typically between a size 8/10, but unfortunately for me I've recently gained a little weight over the past couple months so I took a scary gamble at guessing what size to order to compliment my new figure. I don't like anything tight so I ordered up to be safe. The 12R was loose and comfortable but I probably would have been just fine in a 10. I wasn't planning on wearing heels, which is good bc the R was wayyy too short for heels. The dress itself is awesome. Great quality fabric and the colorful brushstroke-pattern puts a fun, artsy spin on the traditional paisley. And it has pockets! And you can wear a regular bra! I'm always a big fan of a comfortable dress with pockets to play and twirl with. It didn't necessarily give me that "yowzers" look I initially thought I wanted, but I felt great, comfortable, classy, fun, and beautiful in this dress. =)

The 4 wasn't available, so I wore a 6 and t was a little big. Loved the colors and pockets! Got tons of compliments, would definitely order again!

Love this dress! Fit a little tight in the ribcage due to a growing baby bump (17 weeks) but I loved it otherwise. Super soft and perfect length with 3" heels. Didn't wear this time but will rent again post pregnancy!

This dress is a great early fall option for lots of different events (I wore this to a friend's bridal shower), the fabric isn't too light or too heavy, and the colors and paisley pattern lend the dress as a great seasonal transitional piece. I wore the 0R but probably would've been even more comfortable with the 2R (unfortunately wasn't available). It was a little tight in the chest with a strapless bra (going bra less or wearing a Nubra would've been better). Being 5'4" I didn't need a high heel. I ended up wearing sandals and didn't feel like the dress was too long, but a wedge with a small heel would've been perfect.

This might be one of my favorite rentals yet! Loved the colors on the dress. The maxi dress was a perfect choice for a fall wedding rehearsal dinner party. I also love a dress that has pockets! I would definitely recommend this dress & I hope to find another occasion to rent it again myself!

This is one of my very favorite RTR rentals. The fabric is light, and the cut is flattering. I think it is nicer in person than in photos. I received quite a lot of compliments. I do think it runs a tad large. I could have worn a size below my normal size.

*My new favorite RTR dress* True to size and very comfortable. I wore it to a casual wedding and felt great all night. (100% silk) There are POCKETS so I didn't even bother carrying a clutch. I wore 4" wedges and had no issues with stepping on the bottom hem. When I switched to flat sandals late in the evening I had to hold the dress up while walking & dancing.

I wore the 12R and it was too long with flats but PERFECT with 2.5 inch heels. The fabric was a little heavier than I thought it would be but it worked out well as I wore it to a late afternoon/evening wedding on the coast of Maine. I got a 10R for backup and the top fit great but the midsection was a little tight so I went with the 12 but the midsection was loose - could be bump friendly! This could be dressed up or down as it looked great with my jean jacket at the end of the night. The colors were really vibrant against the cream background.

This dress was super light, flowy and looked awesome in photos. The 2 was slightly loose around my waist, at 5' 3", 115 lbs I am usually between a 0 and 2 but I have a larger chest and a 0 would have been too tight on my chest. It was a little long but 2.5 inch heels fixed that. Loved it!

I absolutely LOVED this dress. In fact I have contacted customer support seeing how to purchase. There was only a 10 available, and it was a little snug, a 12 would have been a little more comfortable. I still loved it!! Wore this to a broadway musical.

I'm more of a pear shape so the higher waist allowed me to wear a 10; I would have been curious to see how the 8 fit. I am normally a size 12. It was extremely comfortable with light fabric which was great since it was so hot! The pockets are amazing and deep! I'm 5'4" and wore 2-2 1/2 inch heels and it barely hit the floor. I wish I could buy this dress it is that amazing!

The dress was a little longer than I expected considering I ordered petite. The tag on the dress didn't indicate if it was or was not as it only said the size was 6. Threw on a pair of wedges and it was fine. The only part that was a little uncomfortable was around the arm pits where it felt like it dug in a little bit. It wasn't a big deal at all but just something I noticed adjusting here and there.

Easy to wear and comfortable. Lightweight- kept me cool while everyone was sweating, but was lines really well, so not see through at all. The pockets were a bonus. The zipper on the 6 sticks a bit, but workable with help.
