The dress I originally rented wasn't returned by the previous renter on time, so this was my backup that RTR let me choose. There weren't many dresses available at the last minute and I was a little hesitant to order a shift dress since I'm so petite, but this dress was a dream! The color popped beautifully without being obnoxious and it was extremely comfortable. When standing the dress was the perfect length, but whatever you do...DON'T RAISE YOUR ARMS! Your undies will make a surprise appearance if you do. Otherwise, perfect dress and I would definitely order it again!

True to size dress. I wore this to a bridal shower in the winter. Paired it with some statement pearls and nude colored tights and stilettos. For a little tighter fit, I would have gone with the 0, but I went with the 2 for some space to move around. The layer under neath the lace needs to be pinned up a tiny bit, since when you sit down you can see it peeking past the lace. This dress is beautiful. It was perfect. Another great rental. :)

I wore this dress to a wedding. I typically wear a 0, so I ordered a 0 and a 2 based on other reviews that it runs small. Very glad that I did - while the 0 fit fine, I ended up wearing the 2 because it allowed for more movement. This dress is really short - I'm only 5 feet tall and I still thought it was teetering on the edge of not acceptable for a wedding, especially since the fabric has no stretch. This means that if you raise your arms up, the dress comes with you and gets even shorter. Despite all that, I loved this dress - beautiful color, simple shape, easy to jazz up with jewelry. I received many compliments on it. If you order, be sure to have double stick tape because the lining does peek out past the top layer when left to its own devices.

I loved wearing this dress! The color was beautiful and photographed really nicely. It fit true to size, and was comfortable. It was definitely short and I'm only 5'0! One negative, the lining did peak out from under the seam at times. Overall, this one was a winner.

This was a flattering and comfortable dress. That said, it ran small and had no stretch at all, so I do recommend ordering a size up. It was also very short. I'm 5'8" and I had to be careful not to bend over at all. The dress is structured enough that when you lift your arms, the dress lifts some with it, so I couldn't put my hand on my hips without it becoming too short. I'd say it's better suited for a low activity event than somewhere where you'd be dancing or having to lift your arms to hug a bunch of people.

My friend Jen and I rented these because we were bridesmaids for a small backyard wedding and the bride requested we wear short dresses of purple lace. These dresses fit the bill, were very pretty, and we got a lot of compliments on them. We also heard, "Those are short!" a lot. LOL. The color is lovely, they photographed beautifully, but most importantly the bride was pleased as punch with them and so we were happy we rented them. However, they run VERY small and VERY short, so keep this in mind when deciding on them for an event. They were so short in fact, that we were unable to lift our arms in the air or bend over (seriously) and were our event one with dancing or much physical activity involved, we would have been in real trouble. I bent over to pick up a chair at one point and gave the photographer a nice, generous, full on panty shot- just so you have an idea of where I am coming from. Also, the arms and shoulders of this dress are so small and tight that Jen and I had a hard time putting our arms straight out. We are different body types (I'm an apple and she is an hour glass) but we both generally wear a 4. Jen wore a 6 and although I could get into the 6, I wore an 8 for the extra room. Order a size OR TWO up, just to be safe.

I usually wear a 4 or 6 for dresses and always a 6 in shoshanna but wore the 8 for this dress. It's super short. Pretty dress, and great color, but the lining kept falling below the bottom seam of the dress , so I suggest taping it.

This dress fit true to size. Would recommend going a size up. It needed a statement necklace since it didn't have much of a pattern or print. I wore this to a fall wedding and love it!

The dress fit a little tight around the unique neckline. I found it very comfortable overall and great to keep warm since it has sleeves. As other reviews said, the under liner did pop out when sitting, so I just used safety pins to keep it aligned. I would rent this again!

I felt pretty and comfortable in this dress. I'm 5'2" and it was pretty short on me. I didn't mind it, because it's conservative up top. I had to be careful when dancing and sitting. I read other reviews about the arms being tight, but I didn't find that to be the case at all. It is a shift dress, so it's not meant to be super tight. Overall, a great rental. Once again, I love RTR!!

These pics don't do much justice.......as it looked much better in person. I was NOT wearing black stockings. Unfortunately, this was the only full body photo that I took that evening. I really liked the sleeves because I have thick arms and they held them in a bit. Also the lace covers any problem areas....(no spanks needed)! It was also the perfect length. I am very short and was worried about it being too long. I don't suggest anyone over 5'5" wearing it.

The dress is really pretty and looks good for day/night/and even comfy enough for the beach. It is very short though and if I was any taller my undies would show.

This dress was very comfortable! I'm barely 5'2" and the dress was alarmingly short to sit in. The color was a vivid blue and purple.

The dress was a little snug on my arms and shoulders but it fit comfortably loose everywhere else... It was short! I liked the length when I was standing with my arms down, but it was super short if I raised my arms or sat down... Otherwise, perfect!

Wouldn't rent this one again. The lining kept showing at the neck and the bottom, had to constantly fix it. The overall fit was okay, not the most flattering.

This dress was a beautiful shade of purple and I loved the lace overlay. However, I felt that it just didn't flatter my body type. I normally wear a 2 but the 2 was a little too tight so I wore the 4 and it was just a tad too big up top and still a little too tight in the mid section. Also, the slip kept showing at the bottom and so I had to fix it before picture. This dress is definitely a beautiful dress and I would recommend it for someone that is slim. I would order a size up from what you normally wear just to make sure it fits well

Rented this dress for a friends April wedding. It was prefect for the occasion I received complements from friends and family of the bride and groom. The dress has a conservative shape but a short length, making it a little more fun. It was comfortable to wear all night long. The dress does run a little small, I am normally a size 0 and wore the size 2 in the dress as the 0 was too short (even for someone 5'2") it was also a bit tight on my arms which are muscular. Over all great dress I would rent again, I just recommend sizing up.

Both sizes of this dress fit great though for the event I was attending the 0 was a little shorter than the 2, so I went with the somewhat longer one. Beware tall people, this dress is very short! I am 5'1 and it hit a couple inches above the knee but worked well because it was not skin tight. Overall the color and the lace design are very pretty!!

Didn't end up wearing the dress. My arms are a bit bigger and this runs true to size with no stretch in the sleeves. Because the sleeves were tight the dress rode up with any movement. Was also a little short for the event I was attending. Beautiful dress and as always great service with the return. Wish I could have worn it.

Color was unusual and beautiful; other reviews are spot on--it's short! I'm 5'4 and wore the 4 just fine. I tried the 6 on for comparison and it was only ever so slightly bigger and not substantially longer--to the point I checked the tag to ensure it was actually a different size. It was.

my mom rented me this Beautiful thick material but not too thick that it will make you sweat, great vibrant purple sleeves were very comfortable, everything was great, wish I could keep this! Wore it for my birthday and got compliments all night

This dress was great for the rehearsal dinner I wore it to - not too fancy, but not casual. It is short, but I didn't have any issues with it. I', 5'2" and ~120 lbs and got a size 4 - it was a little loose in the body but I didn't mind since I was going to be eating a lot and dancing later in the night. A smaller size would've been too short probably. The dress is super light so it was perfect for a hot Texas night.

I'm 5'1" and this dress definitely is short, but it didn't feel inappropriately short on me. I wore it to a family wedding, so I was just careful anytime I lifted my arms up on the dance floor! I opted for the 6 to get a looser fit, rather than my usual 4 and it fit great! I got lots of compliments.

I wore this dress for an outdoor wedding in Montana. It looked great with my cowgirl boots! I typically wear a size 4; however, I went with the size 6 to give me a little extra length at the bottom. The size 4 fit in the body but was inappropriately short for a wedding.
