The shoulders were a little small for me but would be good for someone less broad. It was comfortable with pockets and fit just right in length. Would definitely recommend this one!

This picture isn't the best and doesn't do it justice! This dress is very light, so i was very comfortable outside in the heat. The pockets are very cute!! Be careful though, as it is short so no bending over in this one. I have a bit of belly fat and this dress made me feel skinny!

I originally ordered another dress that was super heavy and tight, and RTR was very accommodating and overnight mailed me this one ASAP.

Unlike other reviewers, I didn't find it to be too short, but that might have just been my own personal opinion. I loved this dress. I went one size up based on other reviews and it fit nicely. I can normally wear a 2 or 4 in dresses because I'm smaller on top but the 6 was perfect. The 4 was too short and too tight on top. I wore it to a Kentucky Derby party specifically looking for a purple dress and this was perfect. The dress has pockets, which I love, the purple was bright and fun and the lace and fit were very classy. My favorite dress out of my recent rentals.

this dress was a beautiful shade of purple. I'm 5'1 and i felt that the length was appropriate. i would definitely not recommend this dress if you were tall though, it may be a tad showy. the waist was tight and the hips were loose. absolutely perfect. it even came with pockets!! :-)

I loved this dress! If you have a wider chest you might want to size up. The top of the dress ran a little bit on the small side.

I rented this dress for a winter formal. I ordered the 4 and the 6 but ended up wearing the 6 because the 4 was too tight in the bust and was pretty short. I loved this dress over. The only downside was the sleeves dug into my shoulders when I lifted my arms too high.

This dress was so fun to wear... a little on the short side for me but nothing obscene. I wore for my engagement pictures as our wedding colors are purple and silver and this dress photographed SO well- it looks beautiful in all the pictures we got back. I felt that it fit true to size- other than the length. I am a 32g and somehow my chest fit into the top part just fine. I would highly recommend this dress to anyone- maybe not any taller than 5'9 though, I did have some difficulty sitting down just to make sure I wasn't flashing anyone.

This dress was true to size but it is shorter dress. I wore flats so the length was ok but if I had worn heels it would have been to short. I was able to dance all night with no problem and got a lot of compliments on it!

This dress fit very well. It was very comfortable and it has pockets which is always a bonus. It was a tad bit on the short side. I am 5'3" so it was really just normal length on me, but I could see it being too short on someone taller. I had to be careful when dancing that I didn't bend over too much. Wore this to speak at an event for the ALZ Association so the purple was perfect! The dress is quite short; I fortunately had a napkin from lunch covering my lap while seated since it was a wee bit too short for me at 5'7". Wore the size 8--oddly enough even though my hips always size me up in dresses, in this case it was the top; I couldn't zip the 6 up past my mid-back, but no biggie as the 8 was just perfect! Definitely recommend sizing up though for your back-up.

I rented sizes 4 and 6 for an engagement photoshoot, and ended up wearing the 6 since I couldn't zip the 4 up past by boobs. The dress is really cute but since I sized up the sleeves didn't fit well. I kept the sleeves up with double stick tape. The dress is purple bright purple, though my pic makes it look more like a shade of blue.

Like all the other reviews say, it really does run short. I'm usually a 2, so I ordered a 2 and a 4 to be safe - the 2 fit great up top but it was revealing even when I stood straight up, and I'm pretty average height so I'd imagine this is an issue for most people. I went with the 4 because it was a little bit longer (but still pretty short), but it was kind of baggy all throughout. It looked like it fit decently well though so I just went ahead and wore it since I paid $50 for the thing altogether. The dress was really pretty and I'd say I was happy with it overall, but next time I'll definitely pay more attention to the reviews before picking a dress.

I typically wear a 4 or 6. Ended up wearing the 6 because there is no give to the dress and I was afraid by the end of the night (after earing) it would be uncomfortable.

I absolutely love this dress! It fits TTS, has pockets, and i was able to go without a bra. My stomach is my problem area and this was super flattering. I wore it for 9 hours and danced with my kids all night and was totally comfortable the whole time. I'm only 5'1" and it was short on me, so tall/normal height people may find it too short.

I'm 5'0 and 118lbs. this dress fit perfectly- it was a little short ( even for a petite girl) but I was still able to wear heels and feel comfortable in it. Straps were a little loose but it was an off the shoulder dress so it worked! Definitely recommend.

I received a lot of compliments on the dress. I did have problems with the shoulders staying up. I am glad I wore a strapless bra so I was able to wear the dress off the shoulders. I am wide around the breast area so the hook with the zipper broke off but you could not tell and it was not needed to hold the zipper up. I loved having the pockets in the dress which is where I kept my lipstick. The dress was longer than what was in the photo which I really did not mind.

I wore the smallest size which was the zero and it still felt a little big but the cut of the dress didn't show it so it worked out fine. I wore this for one of my bridal showers and some engagement photos and it really photographs beautifully and pops in photos!!!

I absolutely loved this dress. The color is just as gorgeous in person as it is in pictures. I have rented Shoshanna dresses before, so I was pretty confident in the sizing. Overall, the fit was perfectly true to size - it fit like it was made for me! I didn't wear a bra, as the straps are a bit off the shoulder, and I felt totally comfortable the entire night. The only negative for me (which I completely anticipated based on others' reviews) was that this dress is SHORT. It was alright when I was standing up, but while sitting it definitely felt super short. Overall though, this dress was fantastic - I would definitely rent a Shoshanna dress again!

This dress worked so great for me! I have a small breast/chest area and larger hips. The top was very fitted (perfectly) and it went out at the hips without making my hips looks extra large! It was truly a great dress! Thin and comfortable and got so many compliments! I usually wear a 6 but wore the 8 to this even for just a little extra comfort.

I didn't get a good picture - oops - but the dress (4) fit perfectly to size and worked really well for my medium-bust (34 B/C). You'll want a strapless bra, or could even go sans bra since the material is thick and patterned with lace. It makes for a really fun outfit that can be dressed up with heels for a more formal event, or dressed down with flats or boots for something more casual. It was a bit short on me (high mid-thigh and I'm 5'7"), which I didn't mind, but you should be aware of that. Cute and flirty without being too attention-grabbing or flashy/low-cut. Loved it!

I wore this dress to my sister's rehearsal dinner. I just had a baby about 4 months ago, so I wanted something flattering and forgiving. This dress fit well and did just that. It was not too tight in the midsection and had plenty of room in the bust since I am breastfeeding. The solders keep falling down so I had to wear a strapless bra. Over all I was pleased with my experience and will rent again from RTR.
